Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). From the top station, take trail no. 35, lined with Swiss stone pines and delicate alpine flowers, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen. The HERO KIDS 2024 is a non-agonistic race for children from 4 to 12 years of age. The race is intended to allow youngsters who may become tomorrow’s champions to take part in a mountain bike race especially for them. The route is not particularly demanding. REGISTRATION All kids between 4 and 12 years of age are welcome to take part to this race. Maximum number of participants is 500 kids. Registration fee: € 25,00

"Renasciüda" means rebirth in our Ladin mother tongue, and so on this day we celebrate the rebirth of the forest. During this event, everyone can contribute to restoring the terrible consequences of storm Vaia, which devastated an entire wooded area in 2018. On 16 June, we will plant 1,000 trees together to restore the forest. We need your help! What time would you like to participate? Take a look at the 4 time slots below and choose the one that suits you best! The available time slots are: - from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m, - from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m, - from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m, - from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. We have organised a guided hike before each time slot starting from the tourist office in Corvara, allowing participants to walk together to the event location (approx. 40 minutes). For those who prefer to spend the day in a more relaxed way, we offer a shuttle service from the tourist office in Corvara (approx. 10 minutes). If you prefer to come independently, we are waiting for you directly in the WowNature area - Planac area near the Campolongo Pass (please note that car parking spaces are limited, we recommend using the shuttle or the guided hike). From 11.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., the event will be accompanied by local music duo Gota. On the return journey, we have organised a shuttle bus that will take you from the Planac parking areas to the tourist office in Corvara. After a short refreshment, the hike continues following a path until you arrive to the clearing Plan dala Sia. The Demetz family has been breeding 40 alpacas, known for their high-quality wool products, since the year 2000. At the beginning of the “Triech” ascent, you can spot a second, hidden waterfall.
