Therefore it is more suited to those who enjoy cycling uphill on your MTB or e-bike. The sunrise on the mountain is a magnificent natural spectacle and an unforgettable experience! Most of the way uphill is by shuttle, followed by an early morning hike to the Kreuzjoch viewing platform. You will be rewarded with a spectacular sunrise and a unique panoramic view. Approach to Walten/Valtina as far as the parking space in Wans/Vannes. Ascent through the Wansertal Valley to the Wanser Joch and on to the summit. The descent follows the trail through the Sailertal Valley back to Wans. Walking time: 6 hours (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 1,067 m

We start together with our guide at the biathlon center Grogg. Along a wonderful landscape and take the road until you reach the mighty dam wall. Push your bike across the 83m-high dam wall of Lake Gioveretto and continue along the lake shore. Then we take the asphalt road again to proceed with the last 450 meters in altitude. After a few turns turn right in the left-hand turn before the parking in Alta Val Martello and take the forest road towards the Lyfi mountain hut. You reach your worthwhile destination after a few short ups and downs.

In the climbing hall, children can learn the basics of using ropes and carabiners in a playful way on a 20-metre high climbing wall. Parents can help by belaying their children or give climbing a try themselves. There is a slackline for balance training, too.

South Tyrol is renowned worldwide for its majestic mountains, clear Alpine lakes and idyllic walking trails. From the meeting point, we will drive together to the starting point of our excursion, located by the car park in Dun (1,480 metres). The first stretch of the route will take us along a forest path in the direction of Bodenalm, then we climb a little up to Eisbrugg, where the snow never completely melts. The large, initially flat Eisbruggtal valley will afford us a breather until we climb up to the Kröllhütte hut (2,150 metres). There we’ll begin the final ascent to the Eisbruggsee lake (2,351 metres), which is also the highest point of this excursion. The 3,000-metre peaks of the Pfunders mountains mirrored in the crystal-clear waters of the Eisbruggsee make quite a sight. The way back is along the same route. Over the last few years Kaltern town has been part of the TOUR Transalp itinerary. --La sciorta de Saslonch-- From Monte Pana, the route leads to the pastures of Plan de Cunfin and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Once here, follow a slightly ascending path to the Rifugio Vicenza, where lunch is planned. The Dolomites Bike Day ia a unique kind of Saturday! Cyclists of all abilities can ride together on closed roads, up and down the local mountain cols and passes. The 51km loop is open to anyone: professionals, amateurs, youngsters, and beginners. Even using an e-bike is allowed! On this Saturday, from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. the Dolomites passes roads Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola will be closed to the traffic and reserved exclusively for cyclists. At the non-competitive cycling event, every cyclist can take part for free. We recommend to ride in counterclockwise direction. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.
