This is what our summer hockey camps are all about. The CCM Powerskating Camp has been created to give young motivated hockey players the opportunity to train with world class powerskating coaches. On top of that, we want to give them the chance to compare their skills with athletes from all over the world, as we had 35 nations at the CCM Powerskating Camp 2022. How is the bark beetle influencing the forest ecosystem? What are the consequences of the Vaia storm on our woods? Are the effects of the bark beetle solely negative? How can we contribute to the health and recovery of our forests? Face to face with Roland, an expert forest guide who has closely followed the aftermath of the Vaia storm that struck our woods in 2018. We are in the 'Bosch de Ciaulunch', near the Campolongo pass. Walking through the forest with Roland, guests have the chance to witness the storm's impact on the forests and learn how the proliferation of the bark beetle is affecting the woodland ecosystem, finding ideal conditions for development within the habitat of the fallen trees. Roland's passion for nature is highly infectious, and it is in this way that the guest, armed with the information provided, gains a comprehensive understanding of the entire forest ecosystem, including the different types of trees present and their significance for biodiversity and forest health. Knowledge, as it is well known, is the most effective tool for the protection of any territory. This experience is part of ATIRA: a series of weekly meetings and excursions designed to raise awareness about crucial issues for maintaining sustainable territorial development. With ATIRA, you become a guardian of the Dolomites: you will not only learn fascinating facts about the mountains but also how to actively contribute to the protection of our territory. The Ötzi Glacier Tour is an extremely varied one day round tour, which crosses the main chain oft the Alps. It takes place every Tuesday and upon request. We will then descend to the Tisenjoch (3,210 m/10,532 ft.), the site where Ötzi was discovered. Return to the Similaun Refunge in the early afternoon. The wind, the bare rock and a panorama that only a few can claim to have seen. Nothing else can distract you from one of the most adrenaline-pumping and spectacular hikes in our area. The reward for challenging your limits? The 360-degree view from the summit of Piz da Peres, with the view stretching from the peaks of the Ahrntal valley to the glaciers of Austria. The hike is also suitable for beginners; only the easy section of the via ferrata is tackled. Should the guide judge the group to be sufficiently experienced, the entire via ferrata can be hiked. Excursion not recommended for those suffering from vertigo. Attention: minimum age 16 years. In the event of bad weather, an alternative programme is offered. Booking online or at the Tourist Office. The cost includes continuous accompaniment by a mountain guide. Harness, safety harness and helmet can be hired for €15.

From Passo Furcia we walk to the idyllic Alpine pasture Fojedöra, where young students look after the grazing livestock and make their own bread and cheese - as if time had stood still here... Arrived at the Lake of Braies, the majestic Croda del Becco is reflected in the largest lake of the Dolomites, its clear water shimmers in all shades of blue and green. From San Vigilio to Passo Furcia by bus (Remember the mobil card) and a taxi takes you back to San Vigilio from Braies.

Our trekking guide Florian will start with you from the meeting point at the parking lot in Upper Martelly Valley to an eventful day through the wonderful panoramic world of the National Park. Together with our llama boys Giacomo, Rocky, Rono, Rambo, Casper and Winnetou, who carry your backpacks in the pack saddle, Florian will lead you to the most beautiful places with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. As a certified hiking guide, he will introduce you to the local flora and fauna. Through the spotting scope you may even be able to observe some wild animals, such as deer, chamois and marmots, and thus be almost as close to them as to the national park llamas, whose soothing tranquility will make you feel calm and balanced. We will stop at one of the most beautiful view points, while you will strengthen yourself with a snack of local products from the national park and enjoy the surrounding nature. Via the Panorama Trail we return to the starting point. Another route leads us to the Lyfialm (alping pasture) with its centuries-old primeval larches on the sunny side of the Martell Valley and right to the llama enclosure, the summer quarters of the animals in Thial, nearby the biathlon center. Some things are worth an early rise, even on holiday. You will be rewarded with the unique experience of an Alpine sunrise. We will take the cable car to reach an altitude of 2,000 metres and set off in the dark, experiencing how the new day arises from the silence of the night one step at a time. After an easy hike (approx 45 minutes, 110 meters elevation gain) to the Steinermandl panoramic platform, we will savour the magical moment when the first sun rays bathe the mountains in their bright light. The experience is rounded off by a stopover for refreshments at a mountain hut. The descent by cable car is available from 8:30 a.m. Warm clothing is recommended.
