In the magnificent Moessmer period villa in Bruneck, you can enjoy the 'Cook the Mountain' tasting menu based on the best ingredients from the surrounding mountains and valleys, chosen with respect for their natural cycles and with the aim of minimising waste. Spacious, bright and cosy rooms correspond to the vision of an Atelier: there is the Aperitif and Dessert Room, the Dining room, the Library and the Wine cellar. The Resciesa Alpine Hut has been newly build and this historical place for Val Gardena was reopened in winter 2010/2011. The hut lies 1,4 km (0.8 miles) west of the uphill station of the new funicular that takes you from downtown Ortisei to the mountains of Resciesa. You reach our hut after a 30 minutes walk on a flat, comfortable path. During the winter you can descend on sleds from the hut all the way to Ortisei. We offer typical dishes with an eye to local tradition. You can also stay for one or more nights: we have comfortable double rooms with private bathroom or shared rooms.

Pleasant and comfortable restaurant situated in the building that hosts indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It has large windows offering a beautiful view and a spacious panoramic terrace. Thanks to its central location in Ortisei, its excellent Mediterranean and Tyrolean cuisine, its ample choice of tasty pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven and its cordial service, the Mar Dolomit is highly appreciated and can count on a large number of regular costumers.

The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

Chef Angelo and our renowned restaurant daily offer a great selection of traditional South Tyrolean dishes. Only fresh and top quality ingredients will be turned into special plates, further enriched by lovely details. Absolutely not to miss: our delicious pizzas baked in the wooden oven; fridays, saturdays and sundays also at midday.

Food at the top host means you will enjoy in the heart of Lana whether. Onto the piazza, in the modern dining room or in the room from the 19th century. The cable car takes you up to 1500 metres in 6 minutes. Enjoy modern South Tyrolean cuisine during the day in the Stube Ida. In the evening, the restaurants 1500 serves dishes of high quality, accompanied by excellent wines. Reservation required. Cable car ticket included. Last descent at 11 pm.
