Our cozy family-run, will spoil you in our original farmhouse parlor (Stube) with typical South Tyrolean dishes as well as many fresh farm products from our own farm. After a relaxing walk in autumn you may enjoy a pleasurable "Toerggelen". At the same time you may try our wines from our own vineyard. “Buon appetito” from Unterwirt We have placed great importance on the cuisine in our house for generations. Franz Tauber was one of the first wine waiters in Alto Adige. He transmitted his passion for fine cuisine and precious wines to the whole family, which became one of Unterwirt’s strengths. The menu varies from season to season. We regularly have culinary weeks based on various themes: first courses, fish specialities or the cuisine of the Valle Isarco. Autumn is the season of chestnut feasts and novello wine. The special chestnut weeks are a culinary highlight in autumn (end of October) along with the chestnut gala evening in late autumn.

This mountain inn lies at the foot of the Geisler group surrounded by spruce and pine woods. It is a genuine island of peace and relaxation at the starting point of numerous walks and hiking trails, directly alongside the Adolf-Munkel Weg. The homemade delicacies were filled with fresh herbs which came from the inn's own garden.

In the wintertime, the Getrumalm is a popular destination for snowshoe hikers and ski tour enthusiasts. Both in the wintertime and in the summer, the Getrumalm is highly regarded as a destination by locals and many Sarentino Valley guests. It's not for nothing that the Getrum Hut was included in the "Guida Espresso 2016."
