Our proven team is still from Chef Jörg Trafoier and sommelier Sonya. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed.

The Piccolruaz d'Alfarëi family offers typical Ladin cuisine with a fixed menu in one of the oldest farmhouses in the Badia Valley. At 1,700 m on the sea level at the foot of Latemar above the city of Predazzo, Gardoné offers you relax and culinary highlights with a wonderful view to the Lagorai Mountains.
Both in summer and in winter time, the Gardoné is the perfect place to eat delicious creations, either Mediterranean or traditional, combined with a glass of wine, and to enjoy the sun and the music on the wide terrace.
The mountain hut is easily reachable, both in summer and in winter, thanks to the lifts of the hike and Ski Centre Latemar Obereggen.
If you are a sports-passionate, you can reach the Gardoné by skiing in wintertime, and hiking or mountain biking in summer time, following one of the marked paths or trails.
You can arrive in the Gardoné from Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo.

Our cottage is located at the Sella Pass in the heart of the Dolomites mountains with a wonderful panoramic view of the Marmolada glaciar, the Sella massiv and the Sassolungo group. The Sella Pass forms together with the Pordoi Pass, the Gardena Pass and the Campolongo Pass the four-pass-trip, known from the skiers and the treckers as the "Sellaronda".
