We start with the public bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. After a refreshment (hut or self-catering), the way back is via the old Helmhaus at 2.434 m. With a 360° view between the Italian-Austrian border, we learn a lot about the exciting history of this area. Descent via hiking trail nr. 4a and the Rif. Traditional Bread Baking at the Tholer Farm The South Tyrolean kitchen is characterised by well-preserved old traditions. Elisabeth and Ernst of the Tholer farm let you sneak a peek behind the curtains and reveal to you their recipe for the traditional Paarl bread. Together you prepare the rye dough, form the bread and bake it in the old stone stove. You learn interesting facts about the rye cultivation and local baking tradition, and receive a recipe and some bread to take with you.

The Waterfall Trail begins in the village of St. Anton in the upper Pflerschtal. In about 2.5 hours of ascent, we hike along the Waterfall Trail and reach the Furtalm at 1690 meters above sea level. From the historic centre of Neumarkt with its famous arcades, we hike along the Geigerhäuslsteig trail to the Pinot Noir heaven of Mazon. We stroll at the foot of the Trudner Horn Nature Park through magnificent vineyards and learn all kinds of exciting stories about the market town of Neumarkt, one of the most beautiful town centres in Italy, wine growing and the numerous historical treasures along the way, from Castel Kaldiff to the Romanesque St. Michael's Church. The tour is family-friendly and informative panels provide numerous insights into the area and its people. Beautiful viewpoints of the entire Adige Valley and Lake Kaltern reward hikers along the way.

South Tyrol is renowned worldwide for its majestic mountains, clear Alpine lakes and idyllic walking itineraries. From the meeting point, we will drive together to the starting point of our excursion, located by the Fane Alm car park (1,700 metres). Following the path to Aschila, we will reach the Marblsee lake (2,250 metres) and then the Wildensee lake (2,532 metres), which at 46 metres is South Tyrol’s deepest Alpine lake. After an ascent of around 2.5 hours, you reach the Mastaunpichele with its summit cross (2,285 metres above sea level). From the summit cross, you can not only see the snow fields of the Niederjochferner and Marzellferner in all their splendour, but also the Vernagt reservoir sparkling turquoise blue as you look down into the valley. Our hike begins at the Cabrio Cable Car in Tiers, which takes us to the Frommeralm. From there, we take the König Laurin I & II cable cars up to the Kölner Hut/Laurins Lounge. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains await us on the Hirzelsteig to the Paolina Hut. With the Paolina chairlift, we float down to the village of Karersee. From there, a picturesque path leads us over a suspension bridge to the mystical Karer Lake. The hike continues to the Moseralm, from where we take the Tschein chairlift back. After a final look at the breathtaking mountain panorama, the König Laurin Lift and the Cabrio Cable Car bring us back to Tiers.

The Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park also has a heart, and that is called Braies Lake. The Braies Lake is located in an untouched rock basin and is overlooked by the majestic Seekofel, it is also considered the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites. To see it all, a walk of one and a half hours on the easy circular path is enough. Via Bozen-Trient–Verona (short stay at a motorway station), we drive along the motorway to Padua and Venice. Arrival at around 10 a.m. By boat, we make our way to Saint Mark’s square in the centre of Venice. The city is built on 118 islands and offers many palaces and churches, romantic water ways and bridges, which bear witness to the former glory of the town. We stay in Venice for approx. 5 hours and return back via the Val Sugana to Trient and from there to Bozen and Schenna.
