Which animals and plants are essential for our bees and where do they find their well-being on certain days and at certain times of the year? The bee in the meadow, the bee at the pond, the bee in the pasture and at the former forest border - special power places for our indispensable helpers are pointed out on a short hike. Wild bees are the wild relatives of the honey bee and unlike honey bees, most wild bee species do not live in larger social groups. They usually fly through life as loners. -- La sciorta de Saslonch -- From S. Cristina you walk to the Monte Pana. From here, take the Mont de Sëura chairlift to just below the Sassolungo. The trail leads over long pastures and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. It is not for nothing that Mt. Eidechsspitze is among the most popular peaks in the Pfunders mountains. Starting from the Winnebachtal car park (1,412 metres), we will climb our way to the Tiefrastenhütte hut (2,312 metres) and the Tiefrasten lake. From there, a narrow trail negotiates the rough stretch to the picturesque Kompfossee lake (2,442 metres). Finally, a steep ascent over the flank leads to the Eidechsspitze summit (2,738 metres), where a uniquely rewarding panoramic view awaits. The way back is along the same route. Enjoy a scenic tour from Sterzing to the Rosskopf mountain. The tour starts at the Rosskopf valley station and leads via Telfes to Sterzing's local mountain. The nearly 800 meters of altitude are mostly covered on a wide gravel road. Arriving at the mountain station, the beautiful huts invite you to take a break. Guided E-Bike Tour From our starting point in Reschen we cycle to our further meeting point in Graun. This is where our tour begins. We cycle eastwards into the wonderful Langtauferer Tal valley. We first follow a country road that leads to Melag and use the turn-off in Kapron. In Kapron we turn right in the direction of Riegl and then follow the forest road to the Kaproner Alm (1,960 m). From here we continue slightly up and down to the Masebner Alm. Both alpine huts are not managed, so we now cycle a little steeper uphill to the Maseben mountain hut at 2,267m in order to stop here and enjoy the traditional food. Now we cycle back to the Masebner Alm and continue towards the valley and in the direction of Karlinbach. Once on the forest road, we turn right and follow a beautiful forest path along the idyllic stream to the Melager Alm. We enjoy the views of the glacier world and then follow the forest path again to Riegl. There the trail climbs briefly to the main road in Kapron, where we return to Reschen via Graun.
