The Plätzwiese high plateau in the Pragser Tal Valley is a high plateau at 2000 m. From the parking area, you can already see two of the three possible ski touring destinations: the Picco di Vallandro 2839 m and the Pyramid (Crepe di Val Chiara 2711 m). The third ski tour, right in the heart of the Hohe Gaisl, the Pinscharte at 2565 m, can only be glimpsed from the refuge Plätzwiesenhütte. All three tours have one thing in common: you’re surrounded by the Dolomites, with stunning views of the Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo). Snow and weather conditions will decide your destination on the day. Refreshment stop after the tour on the Plätzwiese. Difficulty: Pyramid easy, Picco di Vallandro and Pinscharte medium. Thanks to the sunny location, the mountain season starts earlier in Naturns than elsewhere. We open the new season on the Merano High Mountain Trail together with the mountain farmers of the Naturnser Sonnenberg mountain. The mountain farmers provide rare insights into their lives, traditions and everyday life. Another highlight is the culinary offer. The Sonnenberg mountain inns and farm taverns will spoil you with tasty dishes from the region.

In the evening, when calm descends on Brixen and most people retreat to their homes, we set off on a special hiking experience. We hike in the soft evening light, enjoy the atmospheric sunset, and stop for a refreshing break. In the soft light of the full moon, nature can be perceived in a particularly intense and conscious way. You will hear (only in German language) about the history of winegrowing, the vineyard plots, the varieties, the vine-training systems, and the estates and mansions you will encounter on the path. One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C). Under the expert guidance of a certified mountain guide, you conquer the impressive passages on the rugged rock faces of Ifinger peak. Via ferrata beginners and families with children from the age of 14 who enjoy walking and climbing will find here a feasible sporting challenge and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

From game to game: Galloping into the Middle Ages is every spring the returning motto in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting. The second game, the labyrinth, is on program at the Matzlbödele in Seis.The third of four stages takes place at the Völser Weiher lake with its gallop. The tournament concludes with the game at Prösels Castle, the ride through posts. On the majestic Nörderberg Mountain in Naturno/Naturns, the Alpine mountain hut season kicks off with a new music festival showcasing upcoming South Tyrolean talent, reinterpreting traditional Alpine folk songs. Throughout the day, four different groups are scheduled to perform at four mountain huts on the Nörderberg.
