Time to breathe - A summit hike and not only

Longing breathes in our souls, the silence of the mountains lets us hear the voice of our hearts: A mountain hike to the panoramic Col da Lech. Here, at 2,175m, a fantastic panorama of the Dolomites and the main Alpine ridge unfolds. Not only do our eyes widen, but so do our hearts! A short drive takes us to the tranquil Ladin mountain village of Welschellen/Rina. Free parking at the sports field/starting point (1,512m). First we hike gently uphill, with surprising views of the Dolomites, to the enticing Welschellener Alm/rest stop (1,947m). We soon reach the tree line, behind which wide, gentle mountain meadows stretch out. We cross a ridge to reach the Col da Lech summit cross (2,175m), which can be seen from afar. The hike continues gently up and down to the nearby, enchanting Glittner lakes. The way back (skipping the Col da Lech) is partly on the outward route.
