The "Seven Lakes Tour" is a demanding but truly rewarding hike in the Ridnaun high mountains. We save the first two hours and 600 metres in altitude thanks to the shuttle that takes us from Maiern to the Moarerbergalm. From there we dive into the unmistakable world of the glacier lakes, in whose mostly calm surface shimmering sky spectacles are impressively reflected. For thousands of years, the lakes have been witnesses to the glacial world of the Ice Age. On our circular hike we enjoy the dreamlike view of the Moarer Weißen, also called the Ridnaun Dolomites. Ascent: 2h - 600 vertical meters and 3km (moderately steep) Descent: 4 to 6 hours - 1,350 vertical meters and 11 km (steep and bumpy) A break is made halfway along the Trüber See lake with your own provisions, no stop at a hut is planned. The hike only takes place in optimal weather conditions! Surefootedness, good stamina and a head for heights are necessary for some short passages!

From Laion, we take the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a ride on the funicular to the Resciesa mount. From the mountain station, we take the path to Cason alpine hut, where we have dinner (not included). Fancy a varied hike where you can experience the secrets of nature? Then join us on our guided tour through the picturesque Seebertal valley - a real jewel in the Texelgruppe Nature Park. The guided hike starts at the Oberglaneggalm hut car park and takes you through an impressive high mountain landscape to the Seebersee lake. Surrounded by mighty rocky giants such as the Hochfirst (3,403 m) and the Granatkogel (3,302 m), the view is a sight to marvel at. Reed grass is reflected in the green-blue water, fish frolic beneath the surface - and with a bit of luck, you might even spot marmots. Their characteristic whistling can almost always be heard. Perhaps one of the rare alpine butterflies will cross your path - keep your eyes peeled! The way back is via the Seeberalm hut back to the starting point. You will be accompanied by a trained nature park guide, who will provide fascinating insights along the way: which plants grow here? How does the landscape change throughout the year? Which animals are native, and how do humans and nature share this space? The tour is part of a series of nine guided hikes through the Texelgruppe Nature Park - each with a different destination, each path offering new perspectives. The tour starts with a short introduction about llamas and getting to know the absolutely child-friendly and curious animals. A moderately difficult high-altitude hike from the Valparola Pass over the Setsas to the green meadows of the Pralongiá plateau. Here you can admire a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding majestic Dolomite peaks. The tour ends with the descent to Corvara and the return to the starting point. This challenging hike leads to two alpine lakes in the Schalderer Tal valley, ideal for a refreshing dip and picnic. After a short rest, we hike to the Lorenzischarte, which separates the Schalderer Tal from the extensive pastures of the Kühbergalm. In the middle of the Sarntal Alps, a postcard view opens up of the surrounding mountains and the Dolomite massifs opposite. Our journey takes us by taxi through the Val di Funes to Zans. Upon arrival, we follow the forest path along the Kaserill stream to the meadow of Kirchwiesl. Here, path No. 32 leads us to the Kaserill Alp, further to the “Wörndle-Loch” Alp and finally, we reach the Schlüterhütte mountain hut. After a well-deserved lunch break, the path leads us uphill to the Col di Poma. The descent to the Zans parking lot passes via the Gampenalm hut and the Tschantschenon hut. Mountain hike Across the Latemar Alpine Ridgeway with hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller The hike begins with a bus journey from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to Obereggen. From there, we hike through the Latemar forest and after about an hour we change to the Latemar ridgeway. Below the "Erzlahn" at the foot of the imposing Latemar, we take a short break to enjoy the panorama. We continue along the high route with marvellous views of the Brenta Dolomites and as far as the Ortler region. After the 360° viewing platform, we descend to the Oberholz hut, where we can take a lunch break. We then descend for about an hour to the bus stop in Obereggen, from where we return together to Welschnofen | Nova Levante. If desired, it is also possible to take the Oberholz lift down to the valley station. From the Vorderkaser Alm, we hike to the Eishof and, following the ascending military path, reach the Eisjöchl (2,895 m) and the Stettiner Hut just below (2,875 m). After a rest at the hut, we descend the path to the Lazinser Alm (1,860 m) and continue to Pfelders (1,624 m), where the bus will pick us up. On this adventure hike, we immerse ourselves in a time when life still had an uncomplicated course, when there were no access roads to the mountain meadows, the tools were simple and basic, yet sophisticated, and of course there was no smartphone for a long time. We set off on foot and reach the mountain meadow, where we will explore the topic of mountain hay, not just thematically. For this weeks version "Light" we go to a mountain meadow at the end of the Ratschings valley. The exact location has not yet been decided. It will probably be the meadow about 300 m behind the Kneipp facility. The starting point is the Ratschings Jaufen cable car valley station (also accessible by bus), from where we will continue together towards the end of the valley.
