From the Provincial Mining Museum in Maiern/Ridnaun, trail no. 9 takes us on a relaxed, leisurely hike to the entrance of the wild Burkhardklamm gorge. At the waterfall, we breathe in the finely atomized aerosol of the Fernerbach stream, and the invigorating effect of these healing drops is immediately noticeable. You will experience the health-promoting effect that our scientific study at the Paracelsus Salzburg Private University has shown. We find peace and relaxation by becoming aware of nature with all our senses. The alpine hut Aglsbodenalm invites you to a cozy stop. With Kneipp treatments, we also let the calming power of the water work its magic on us on the way back. Participation in the hike is possible from the age of 6. Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs towards Ridnaun Valley up to Maiern. The meeting point is conveniently accessible by bus line 312 towards Ridnaun/Maiern. It is the last stop. Arrival at 9:38 AM, the tour starts just 5 minutes later! The return trip to Sterzing is possible at 3:05 PM from the same stop. Tip: The guided hike ends around 3:00 PM – the perfect time to join a tour at the Mining Museum, which starts at 3:15 PM. A great way to enjoy both experiences in one day. As soon as you arrive, at the starting point in front of the tower in Resia Lake, you will learn more about the tragic history of the lake damming. The route then takes you up the hill to St. Anna's Church and on to the Upper Vinschgau Valley Museum. The museum provides information about the destruction and reconstruction of the villages of Curon and Resia in an extensive photo documentation. The exhibition also presents sacred artefacts as well as historical objects from everyday farming life in the past. You will then travel by public transport to Resia. Here you have free time for lunch or to explore the village until 3:00pm. From the Resia sports ground, the tour continues to the Bunker at the Source of the Adige River no. 20, where you will learn about the history of the construction and use of the bunkers of the Alpine Wall around the Resia Pass. This is followed by a visit to the source of the Adige, the second longest river in Italy. The journey by public transport and food are not included in the price. From Laion, we take the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a ride on the funicular to the Resciesa mount. From the mountain station, we take the path to Cason alpine hut, where we have dinner (not included). Adventure, adrenalin and breath-taking views: all this lies store for you in the exciting 4 Peaks Alta Badia challenge. The aim of this challenge is to conquer the four summits Sas dla Crusc - Santa Croce 2,907 m, Piza dales Diesc - Cima Dieci 3,02 6m, Lavarela 3,055 m and Conturines 3,064 m, on the edge of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The ascent of these four mountains is to be attempted only by experienced climbers, as these peaks cannot be reached just on easy, well-sign-posted paths, but also via routes with some very exposed sections. As proof of your achievement you will have a pass which must be stamped every time you reach one of the four summits. All those who manage to complete the challenge in two or more days will have the title “Alta Badia Finisher” conferred upon them. If you manage to complete the ascent of all four summits in one day you will be crowned with the coveted and highly deserved title of “Alta Badia Mountaineer”. In both cases you will take up your place of honour in the “Wall of Fame” which can be viewed online.

Mountain hike, starting from Flading (1,485m), via trail no. 30 to the Gleckalm (2,265m - not serviced). The first part of the ascent takes us through predominantly wooded terrain via the so-called Stiegen up to the altitude of the Klammalm. This is followed by a short, flatter section before we tackle the second altitude level. Passing the impressive Gleckbach waterfall, we quickly gain altitude. Another beautiful waterfall, which flows into a deep basin, can be seen at the top of the second altitude step. After reaching the ridge, the plateau of the Gleckalm opens up with great views. Take a picnic break here or at the nearby Gleckalm mountain hut. The return route follows the ascent path in the upper section and then leads us to the Klammalm, where a stop for refreshments is planned. We then descend to Flading via trail no. 12. Participants first walk about 600 meters into the Elisabethstollen, then climb up a staircase (300 steps and 65 vertical meters) in an ore mining shaft to the Lorenzstollen.Then we walk about 400 meters back through the Lorenzstollen to the exit and through a path to the starting point. Our downhill basic technique training in the bike park at Kronplatz is the ideal introduction to the exciting world of downhill mountain biking. In this course, participants learn the fundamentals of riding technique, including correct body positioning, line selection, and how to safely master steep slopes.
