This varied circular hike, guided by Ferdinand Pardeller, leads along well-maintained trails to the idyllic Rotwand Hut. From there, the route continues to the striking Christomannos Monument, with its iconic bronze eagle and a unique view of the Latemar and the Eggental Valley. The return path leads via the welcoming Masaré Hut – perfect for a break with views of the majestic rock formations of the Rosengarten group. Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. After a short break, the tour continues steadily uphill to Pederü, first on asphalt, then on gravel roads.The alpine climb begins at Pederü, heading up to the Fanes Hut (2,060 m) on a well-maintained former military road. Though demanding, the climb is scenic and rewarding. By cable car, we ascend to Kronplatz (2275m), where we enjoy a magnificent view of the Alps and the Dolomites. At the summit of Kronplatz, we marvel at the largest bell in the Alps: the Concordia. Together with Martha, you will start a leisurely walk towards St. Michael. After about 30 minutes, we reach our first stop: the Zerund farm. There, you’ll gain a fascinating insight into life on a farm – including a visit to the barn. The hike then continues via Scherplatz to the Krahof farm. There, a delicious South Tyrolean snack awaits you, lovingly prepared with products from the farm. The farm gates also open for us at Krahof: get to know the free-range hens that lay the popular South Tyrolean free-range eggs. The Ötzi Glacier Tour is an extremely varied one day round tour, which crosses the main chain oft the Alps. It takes place every Tuesday and upon request. The undisputed highlight of this accompanied glacier trekking tour is the discovery site of Ötzi the Iceman (3,210 m). Starting from Kurzras. From the mountain terminal of the Glacier Cable Car, we will travel over the Hochjochferner (2,800 m/9,186 ft.) to the Schwarze Wand and on to the Hauslabjoch (3,280 m./10,761 ft.) We will then descend to the Tisenjoch (3,210 m/10,532 ft.), the site where Ötzi was discovered. Return to the Similaun Refunge in the early afternoon. We will then descend through the Tisen Valley to Vernagt (1,700 m./5,577 ft.) Return to Kurzras. A romantic torchlight hike awaits you! The meeting point with Simone, who accompanies the hike, is at the tourist office in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. From there, you will need to drive independently to the Oberkofl farm, which takes about five minutes. The easy hike starts there and leads you past the farm along an idyllic forest path to the mystical St. Agatha Church, which lies in a clearing in the woods. The trail is easy to walk, with no major elevation changes. Along the way, Simone will share fascinating stories about the legendary church and this special place. If you are looking for an exciting human-animal-nature-experience on the mountain, the Pirchhof-Lamas from Birchberg are just right for you. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. The Radlsee refuge is located high above the Eisack Valley on the legendary Radlsee lake in the basin between the Königangerspitze and Hundskopf peaks. On the way, we learn a lot about alpine herbs, mountain farming and the formation of the Alps and Dolomites.
