An unforgettable experience for the whole family: the Dolomiti Ranger program allows parents and children between 7 and 12 years to discover, in a fun and exciting way, the mysterious world of animals and plants of the Dolomites int the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Led by experts, the young rangers explore on two adventure days a week the surrounding nature of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park.
Module 1: The discovery of the kingdom of the flora and fauna of the Dolomites
How can you measure the height of a tree without daring climbing? How do aquatic animals give us information about water quality? Together with experienced nature park rangers, the whole family discovers the world of Alpine animals and plants.

Picnic in the most beautiful places in Niederdorf Villabassa, in the middle of the Dolomites

Enjoy an idyllic picnic amidst the breathtaking Dolomites. The filled picnic basket can be reserved through the Tourist Info. It can be picked up from 9 am and returned within 6 pm of the same day or the next morning at 9 am.
The picnic basket is filled with local products: bread, cheese, sausages, pastries and fruit from Villabassa and the surrounding area. The basket also contains a reusable glass bottle, which you can use to fill up with fresh water at the public fountains. (Vegetarian option on request). Experience a culinary highlight in the most beautiful places of Villabassa and let yourself be enchanted by the unique surroundings of the Dolomites.

Guided sunrise hike
Travel by minibus to the Plantapatsch mountain hut (2150 m). From there we hike approx. 1.5 hours to the Watles summit (2555 m). There we will watch the sunrise. A unique view awaits us. An unforgettable, perhaps rare moment. Descent along the same route back to the Plantapatsch hut. Return journey by minibus to Burgeis.

"The early bird catches the worm"! The well-known saying takes on a whole new meaning during a sunrise hike to the mountain Fleckner (2,336 m).
Admittedly, it takes some motivation to get out of bed so early, but early risers are rewarded. Join us when the first rays of sun touch the top of the mountains, the light illuminates the majestic mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley and let yourself be enchanted by the unique panorama.
After the descent, we fortify ourselves at alp Jaufen Alm with a mountain breakfast featuring local products.

The journey takes place by bus via Chiusa to the Alpe di Villandro.
From the Gasserhut, we follow the path to the “Mair in Plun” hut and continue slightly uphill to the Stöfflhut. After the crucifix called “Kesselbild”, we ascend to the cross of Lazfons, the highest pilgrimage church in Europe.
After that, we descend to the “Chiusa al Campaccio” hut
and continue to the farm Kühhof. Once arrived, a taxi is already waiting to take us back to Laion.

From S. Cristina you walk to the Monte Pana. From here, take the Mont de Sëura chairlift to just below the Sassolungo. The trail leads over long pastures and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Passing these majestic rock formations, descend to the Passo Sella and take the bus back to S. Cristina.

As soon as you arrive, at the starting point in front of the tower in Resia Lake, you will learn more about the tragic history of the lake damming. The route then takes you up the hill to St. Anna's Church and on to the Upper Vinschgau Valley Museum. The museum provides information about the destruction and reconstruction of the villages of Curon and Resia in an extensive photo documentation. The exhibition also presents sacred artefacts as well as historical objects from everyday farming life in the past.
You will then travel by public transport to Resia. Here you have free time for lunch or to explore the village until 3:00pm.
From the Resia sports ground, the tour continues to the Bunker at the Source of the Adige River no. 20, where you will learn about the history of the construction and use of the bunkers of the Alpine Wall around the Resia Pass. This is followed by a visit to the source of the Adige, the second longest river in Italy.
The journey by public transport and food are not included in the price.

From there the trail leads us past the Roda di Vael and the Window Tower to the Roda di Vael hut. Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
During a herbal walk, we learn about the most important local plants and their uses. We then make a tincture and an oil extract with plant material under instruction. We then use these extracts to make various products together (e.g. lip balm, insect bite roller, ointment ...). Afterwards, the participants can take home 1 product of each of the treasures they have made (with the corresponding instructions for production and recipe).

Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a small alpine snack awaits you. The hut landlord Seppl is known for his typical, delicious dishes!
After a refreshment stop, you hike up to the Allwartstein summit (1,954 m), where you have a breathtaking view. The descent takes you back to the starting point at Altprags/Braies Vecchia on a variant of the ascent route.
The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

Grab a Cleanup-Bag at the tourist office and take it with you on your hike. Pick up litter along the way and take three cool photos to show your mission. At the end, return the bag and get a small gift from our Sexten shop – a thank-you for your effort!

Al Plan/San Vigilio, Dolomites Region Kronplatz/Plan de Corones
We will see which plants grow at altitude (2000m.a.s.l.), how to recognise them and use them. We will make butter with the herbs we have collected, which we will taste together on the terrace of the Graziani hut while looking at the beautiful panorama of the Dolomites The hike continues with an ascent to the summit of Plan di Corones, from where there is a 360° view. Here we will see one of the largest bells in Europe: the Concordia. Finally, we return on foot to the Furcia Pass.
Lunch
There is the possibility of stopping at the refuge (around 12 noon), or we can each take a packed lunch. N.B: for the tasting stage, we ask you to avoid it in the presence of allergies and intolerances

Join us on an extraordinary hike that not only offers breathtaking views, but also combines exciting historical, architectural and artistic experiences. Our tour begins with a ride on the cable car to the Grawand at 3,212 metres. From here, we reach the Iceman Ötzi Peak viewing platform and a unique work of art by Olafur Eliasson. During the descent along the glacier, with views of turquoise glacial lakes, we learn a lot of historical facts about the construction of the cable car to the Grawand, which was opened 50 years ago. The descent finally ends at the Teufelsegg hut, from where we take the Roter Kofel chairlift back down to the valley in comfort.

Mindful.Latemar is the first immersive mindfulness trail in the Alps. It is located in Obereggen along the circular trail on Golfrion, at the foot of the Dolomites at an altitude of 1,872 meters. The trail features 18 different mindfulness exercises at a unique place that became a symbol of perseverance and resilience after Storm Vaia in November 2018.
Mindfulness helps you to be present and aware of the current moment. Mindful.Latemar is a place of well-being, full of experiences and emotions, where everyone can reconnect with themselves and realign by enhancing their own psychophysiological well-being. The trail was designed by psychologist and mindfulness trainer Dr. Thomas Bernagozzi. Through targeted experiential exercises and meditation techniques, visitors can learn how to refocus their attention and create a moment of mindfulness and well-being for themselves and those around them.

It is not for nothing that Mt. Eidechsspitze is among the most popular peaks in the Pfunders mountains.
Starting from the Winnebachtal car park (1,412 metres), we will climb our way to the Tiefrastenhütte hut (2,312 metres) and the Tiefrasten lake. From there, a narrow trail negotiates the rough stretch to the picturesque Kompfossee lake (2,442 metres). Finally, a steep ascent over the flank leads to the Eidechsspitze summit (2,738 metres), where a uniquely rewarding panoramic view awaits. The way back is along the same route.

Join us on a gentle hike through the wild and romantic Tschamin Valley – one of the most untouched gems of the Dolomites. Together with our hiking guide Julian, you'll explore not only breathtaking scenery but also hear fascinating stories about local life, including the traditions of the mountain people, the legend of the “Saures Wasserle,” and more.
We'll take a relaxing lunch break at the scenic “right Leger” before heading back to the Tschamin Schwaige, where a well-deserved refreshment awaits.
To round off the day, we’ll visit the Nature Park Information Center at the historic Steger Sawmill. Although the old Venetian saw is currently out of service due to storm damage, the exhibition is open and well worth a visit. You’ll find insights into traditional alpine craftsmanship, local geology, and the region’s flora and fauna – all presented through interactive displays, audio stations, and a small film room.

Starting from the centre of Selva, we hike along the old railway line to S. Cristina. The Legend Trail leads us then along a beautiful forest path to one of the most impressive sights of Val Gardena: St. Jacob's Church - the oldest church in Val Gardena. This easy hike through picturesque meadows and forests is a good place to linger and enjoy the magnificent view of the Sassolungo group.

Hike from Innichen/San Candido to Stauderhof (approx. 1 hour, 300 m altitude difference). From there via the panoramic path further over the Vierschachberg/Monte Versciaco and descent to Vierschach/Versciaco or Winnebach/Prato Drava (to be decided on site). From the respective village take the bus or train back to Innichen/San Candido. Attention: no stop at a hut is planned.
