This easy hike takes you to a farm in the idyllic hamlet of Pein, where you will prepare a farmhouse pizza together with farmer's wife Johanna and bake it in the stone oven. Johanna will also explain how she makes mozzarella and will certainly let you taste some of her homemade products. On the way back, you will visit Martha and her little ‘Ladile’ (farm shop). She will tell you about her products and how she processes all kinds of herbs into teas and tinctures.

The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. Some things are worth an early rise, even on holiday. You will be rewarded with the unique experience of an Alpine sunrise. We will take the cable car to reach an altitude of 2,000 metres and set off in the dark, experiencing how the new day arises from the silence of the night one step at a time. After an easy hike (approx 40 minutes, 130 meters elevation gain) to the Steinermandl panoramic platform, we will savour the magical moment when the first sun rays bathe the mountains in their bright light. Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. The “Törggelen” season is the fifth season in Brixen and its surroundings. Together with you, we would like to take a look behind the scenes of this tradition, learn about the origins of wine in Brixen and uncover the secrets of “Törggelen” cuisine. We walk from Brixen to the Griesser Hof winery, situated on a sunny hill. There we are welcomed by winegrower Paul, with whom we taste his wines in the wine cellar. We continue along the “Keschtnweg” trail and stop off at Burgerhof Meßner farm inn. Together with organic winegrower and chef Johannes, we prepare South Tyrolean dumplings and learn about his philosophy of sustainable farming. Language: German & Italian We meet at 9.55 a.m. at Klobenstein station. We take bus 165 to Oberplatten. From here we hike to Signat and along the new wine hiking trail "Rebe" to Bolzano. The sunny mountain slope from Bozen up to the Ritten is one of the finest wine-growing areas in South Tyrol. Along the wine steps, the 10 artistic installations offer a fascinating glimpse into the culture of wine production. From Signat the trail leads downhill through the gently rolling vineyards to the viewing platform with its magnificent views of Bozen, then on to the Loosmannhof, to the settlement of St. Justina and down to Rentsch in the historic wine-growing estate of Ansitz Waldgries. The same route leads back uphill from Bozen to Signat.
