Waldgries was first mentioned in a document in 1242. Today Christian Plattner leads the wine estate with enthusiasm and success in the 3rd generation and gives his wines a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Unique is the wine path "Zeit in Waldgries", where the visitor learns a lot of interesting facts about the winery and the daily work. At the end of the artistically designed path, the visitor is rewarded with a magnificent view of the city of Bolzano and the surrounding castles.

Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!

We than walk to Neuhaus Castle, get some information about the history and visit the castle church (only in German and Italian language). With Walter's "De Oro" breeding. Start: 11 a.m. Linzbach train stop. Duration: approx. 3 hours, level of difficulty: medium, 250 meters of elevation (not suitable for baby carriages). Price: € 43 p.p. / € 95 for families (€ 40/€ 90 with RittenCard). Every Thursday we walk from Linzbach towards the village center of Oberbozen with our well-behaved llamas and alpacas at our side. We cross the village and then descend along the ancient Roman path to the famous Ritten earth pyramids. Once there, we give our animals and ourselves a little breather, during which you can read about the history of the earth pyramids on the notice board, take photos or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. After the short break, we climb back up the ancient Roman path. Once we arrive in the village at the cable car station, we make another short stop and those who wish can treat themselves to an ice cream or refreshment at Cafe Fink. Strengthened, we then start the rest of the way back to the pasture of our llama and alpaca stallions. Note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to convert this tour into a shorter trek. Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. Explore the charming landscape in and around Eppan with our trained bike guide Stefan. There is something for everyone on varied trails, gravel, single trails and beautiful forest paths, as well as wonderful viewpoints. Guided afternoon hike with Klaus Demar. Meeting point: Train stop Lichtenstern. Duration: 3-4 hours, pure walking time: 2 hours. Difficulty: middle. Price: € 15, free with RittenCard. Language: German & Italian. We meet us at 2.20 p.m. at the Lichtenstern/Station (2.06 p.m. train from Oberbozen/ Klobenstein). In Lichtenstern we learn about the 117-year-old Ritten Railway. From here we climb to the Waldneregg prehistoric cult site. We follow the path near the mythical "Menhir" to Lake Wolfsgruben. Along the Eschenbach stream, which drained the lake, the "Seemüller" had rights to use the irrigation water and the water power for their mills, sawmills and a forge. We look at the old buildings (from the outside) and descend to the beautifully situated Unterinn. On a tour of the village, we visit the parish church - the original parish of Ritten - which is well worth seeing, before taking the bus to Klobenstein, where our hike ends. Registration required!

Stop 1 Gateway to the Sassolungo. After a scenic drive from Ortisei, our first stop is Passo Sella. Here, you'll be surrounded by the towering Sassolungo and the spectacular Sella Group, offering panoramic views that will leave you breathless. Take some time to capture this stunning scenery with your camera. Stop 2 The Terrace of the Dolomites. Next, we head to Passo Pordoi, known as the “Terrace of the Dolomites.” From this high-altitude pass, enjoy sweeping views of the Marmolada, the highest peak in the Dolomites. At this stop, we will. prepare an authentic Speck (local smoked meat) and home made apple juice tasting for you to enjoy with the view. Stop 3 Between Meadows and Peaks. Our journey continues to Passo Campolongo, nestled between the Sella Group and the lush green meadows of the Arabba valley. This tranquil stop offers a unique perspective on the Dolomites, with opportunities for more incredible photos. Stop 4 Wild Beauty of the Dolomites. The final pass on our tour is Passo Gardena. Father Sebastian Kneipp’s water therapy gets the metabolism and circulation moving and demonstrably strengthens the body’s defences. In addition, it also helps with numerous chronic illnesses and nervous complaints such as headaches, migraines, sleep disorders, allergies, stubborn infections, stomach and bowel problems, and inner turmoil. When the scent of freshly baked bread drifts over Obergummer, it can only mean one thing: it's baking day again at the Untereggerhof. Gottfried, the farmer and host, fires up the old stone oven and takes you on a little journey back to a time when baking bread was still pure craftsmanship – done by hand, with heart and tradition. --E-bike Val Duron-- The clockwise Val Duron tour develops on the bike path towards the east. Leave the bike path once you’ve reached Plan, continue on the path across Plan de Gralba heading towards Passo Sella. At the height of the Mountain Resort only a few metres are left to the highest point of the tour (2,215 m) and the access into Val di Fassa. In the descent towards Canazei and, ultimately, Campitello, you can use a piece of the Infinity Trail before taking the mountain bike path 908 into Val Duron and continue up to Passo Mahlknecht. The hike starts at the Active & Events office in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena. With the local bus you will reach the idyllic hamlet of “Daunëi”. During a visit to a beehive, children and their parents will learn interesting facts about the honey bee, its life and the honey's journey from the flower blossom to the honey jar. From there you follow the path "Via Crucis" in direction of Vallunga, a true family paradise. --Sota la Odles-- The exciting hike in the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park starts at the Col Raiser cable-way. Starting from the top station, a forest path leads to the newly built Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage viewpoint Mastlé – S. Cristina/Val Gardena, which is located at 2.200 m. The path beneath the vertical Fermeda Towers leads then to Pieralongia and after to the higher Seceda Alp. We take the bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and from there the cable car up to the Helm (2.050 m). The Olperl’s Nature Park starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable car and leads to Olperl's best friends - into the realm of the alpine animal world. On the 1,5 km long circular trail you can discover 10 exciting adventure points - with great views of the summit world of the Sesto Dolomites. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. Soft moss, fragrant larch wood, stone slabs or pebbles revitalise the foot reflex zones before the feet are bathed in cooling spring water.
