Join us on an exciting hike through the alpine Seebertal Valley! We start in Moos/Moso and drive together to the Seeberkehre hairpin bend, the starting point of our tour. From there, we'll walk to Seebersee lake, surrounded by moraines, debris walls, and deep crevices: impressive remnants of once-powerful glaciers. Along the way, you'll learn how nature has adapted to the harsh conditions. Despite the seemingly inhospitable environment, plants and animals have found their place here. Let yourself be inspired by the history of the glaciers and the unique flora and fauna. After the hike, enjoy the panoramic views with a delicious lunch at Oberglaneggalm hut. Guided autumnal walk with stop at the "Törggelestube Gostnerhof". The farmer Luis shows you how to make "Barbianer Keschtn". With the "Keschtnpfanne" of course! We'll guide you through the colorful autumn in South Tyrol. Meeting point at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hiking time: 3.5 hours, return at around 4pm, easy hike, good footwear, rain shelter. For members of the Tourist Association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders the hiking is free, for non-members it costs 8,00€ per person. Have you ever seen the inside of a hydroelectric power plant? Do you know how eco-friendly electricity is generated from water? The Passeiertal Valley is one of the most water-rich valleys in South Tyrol. For decades, the power of water has been harnessed here to produce sustainable energy in numerous hydroelectric power stations. On a hike from St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo along part of the impressive Passer Gorge "Passerschlucht", you'll have the opportunity to visit the Gomion power plant. During an exciting guided tour, Sepp will tell you more about the history and technology of the facility – you'll get first-hand insight into how clean electricity is generated from water. Along the way, we'll stop for a break at the Hinterbruggerhof inn and enjoy a traditional "Marendebrettl" with regional specialties. After this cozy rest, we'll head back to St. Leonhard/S. The guided excursions about the cestnut to Glaning/Afing will start every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the tourist office of San Genesio. During this excursion, you will learn many secrets about the cultivation of these precious autumn fruits admiring the colorful chestnut trees. There will be breaks with local product tastings at the "Törggelen" restaurants of San Genesio. Registration is required: within 12 noon of the previous day, by telephone or by e-mail contacting the Tourist Office S. Genesio.

Hidden in the upper Passeiertal Valley at 2,355 meters lies the historic Schneeberg mine. It was once the largest ore mining area in Europe. Since 1967, operations have ceased. Join hiking guide Franz on this exciting tour and learn first-hand about the history of mining and the tough lives of the miners. After the ascent, we'll stop at the mountain hut in St. Martin am Schneeberg for a well-deserved lunch. Afterwards, we'll explore the adventure mine and experience the tunnels up close. ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Bachlerhof. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna up to the Pichler restaurant and then hike through the Vallplatz forest to the Bachlerhof farm and after a stop for refreshments we continue to Verdins. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. A Törggelemenü and hearty music are of course not to be missed! From the bridge on the road to the Timmelsjoch Pass at the end of the Val Passiria valley, we begin our hike along the high-altitude trail “Tiroler Höhenweg,” which gently ascends through the forest. The final section climbs more steeply, leading us up small switchbacks to the Monteneve mine. We take a break at the Monteneve inn to refresh ourselves, then continue on to the “Obere Gostalm” mountain pasture, before returning to the road to the Timmelsjoch Pass. Start your day with an unforgettable experience! On the sunrise hike to the Flecknerspitze (2,336 m), you'll experience pure goosebump moments. As the first rays of sunlight bathe the mountains in warm light and you feel the peacefulness of nature, the early wake-up call and the climb are quickly forgotten. Together, we'll hike to the summit in the early morning hours and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view. After this special nature experience, we'll round off the tour with a delicious breakfast at a cozy alpine hut. Join herbal expert Rosi on a hike around St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo, get to know the local herbs and learn all about their use in the medicine cabinet. In the following workshop, you will prepare natural remedies together with Rosi and receive valuable tips for your home pharmacy. During the colourful autumn, families interested in nature learn in a playful way about the forest and its inhabitants together with a biologist on a walk around St. Magdalena: Which trees grow in Villnöss valley? Which animals can we observe in the forest? You will learn lots of exciting things about the forest through games, searching for clues and interesting materials. Target group: Families with children aged 6 to 12 years. The bus takes us to the beautiful village of Ciardes in the Vinschgau, where we walk through orchards to the Waal (irrigation channel) and along it, without too much effort, to Juval Castle. The music bands of Eppan vitalize their audience with a diverse repertoire in the historic walls and courtyards. The visitors walk through palaces, castles and residences and experience on this simple walking route a pleasant mix of autumnal atmosphere, history and music.

Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts. For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts. The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.

During the Chestnut Days "KESCHTNRIGGL", everything revolves around the "Tisner Kescht" (Chestnut of Tesimo). During the Chestnut Days, menus in selected restaurants feature specially created chestnut dishes. The chestnut is the protagonist of numerous events during the Chestnut Days KESCHTNRIGGL.

From the centre of Barbiano/Eisacktal we hike in the direction of the ‘Trimm Dich Weg’, past the sports zone to ‘Bad Dreikirchen’, with its three unique chapels built next to each other. We walk along the easy forest path to the ‘Briol’ inn and on to the upper (45 m high) and lower waterfall (85 m high), the highest point of the hike. Now it's downhill and back to the starting point. Elevation gain: approx. 600 m Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours Difficulty: moderate

Immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful hikes in the Seiser Alm Dolomites Region. This tour offers breathtaking views, alpine charm, and authentic South Tyrolean flair - perfect for anyone wanting to experience the Dolomites at their best. Tour Description: We take bus line 176 from Tiers to Ums. Starting in Ums, we follow trail no. 4, which leads us through an enchanting forest and across the Schlernbach stream. The ascent is steep, but together we’ll make it—and the view from Tschafonleger and the Tschafon Hut at 1,728 meters rewards our effort. We’ll take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before returning via trail no. 4A. The descent leads past the picturesque Wuhnleger to Weißlahnbad, where we’ll end the hike together.
