Hiking tour at the foot of the Schlern

Schenna/Scena, Meran/Merano and environs

This week the hike leads us to Schlern-area.

We take the bus to the Völser Weiher. From there, we hike to the Tuffalm, where we enjoy a magnificent view. Then we continue to the Hofer Alpl and on to Ums. The bus will pick us up there.

    Turist Information Schenna
    Meeting point is the tourism office Schenna. (Erzherzog-Johann-Platz 1/D).

    Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 from Meran – get off at bus stop Schenna Dorf (about 50 m away).

    Public parking, some paid, is available in the village centre, all within easy walking distance.

    Hiking boots, weather protection, something to drink and a snack.

    Simply bring your water bottle with you – in Schenna you can fill it directly from the tap before your hike and along the way at the many drinking fountains with high-quality mountain water.
    The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the hike, after which 50 percent of the ticket price will be charged. For cancellations on the day of the event and in case of no-shows, no refund will be given.
    The ticket includes guided tour and bus ride.
    The hike will only take place if the minimum number of participants is reached.
    Bringing animals is not allowed.
