A hidden gem in the dolomites, where enchantment meets nature
La Val is the most characteristic and peaceful village of Alta Badia. Situated on the meadows overlooking the Sas de Pütia, here you can still breathe the rural air that once hung over the entire Dolomites. This excursion starts from Biei, a small hamlet of the village, to reach the Rit meadows, marked by the Crusc da Rit cross, the destination of the excursion. From here you can enjoy spectacular views not only of the village of La Val, but also of the surrounding mountains, such as Sas dla Crusc, with the peaks of Sas dales Nü and Sas dales Diesc, and Sas de Pütia. A way to discover and contemplate the beauty of the Dolomites from a secluded, somewhat fairy-tale perspective.

Early in the morning, we set off with Margareth on a sunrise hike. Meeting point is at the large hiking map near the Gasserhütte – from there we begin our walk to reach the Toten Kirchl in time for sunrise.
At the top, a peaceful and impressive atmosphere awaits, with wide views over the Villanderer Alm and the surrounding mountains. After hiking back down, we’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast together at a mountain hut.
A start to the day that’s well worth it – for anyone who enjoys experiencing nature at its quietest and most beautiful.

The spectacle of the mountain fires lit every year on Sacred Heart Sunday, which can be admired on many mountain slopes in South Tyrol, is particularly impressive. A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better.
Limited number of participants.
From Cavareno we come to Salter and then through woods and meadows into the gorge of the hermit St Romedius with the monastery of the same name. We climb 130 steps up to the main chapel. We leave the monastery, hike uphill and reach the plateau of Lago di Coredo, where we stop for lunch. From here we descend to San Zeno, where the bus picks us up again.

Moos in Passeier/Moso in Passiria, Meran/Merano and environs
Fancy a varied hike where you can discover the secrets of nature? You'll learn lots of interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the Texelgruppe Nature Park.
The guided hike starts at the Farmazon car park and takes us to the impressive golden eagle's nest. From there, we continue along a section of the Merano High Mountain Trail, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the world of the golden eagle - from the habitat of these majestic birds to the stories that surround them.
You will be accompanied by a trained nature park guide, who will provide fascinating insights along the way: which plants grow here? How does the landscape change throughout the year? Which animals are native, and how do humans and nature share this space? The tour is part of a series of nine guided hikes through the Texelgruppe Nature Park - each with a different destination, each path offering new perspectives.

Al Plan/San Vigilio, Dolomites Region Kronplatz/Plan de Corones
The wind, the bare rock and a panorama that only a few can claim to have seen. Nothing else can distract you from one of the most adrenaline-pumping and spectacular hikes in our area. The reward for challenging your limits? The 360-degree view from the summit of Piz da Peres, with the view stretching from the peaks of the Ahrntal valley to the glaciers of Austria.
The hike is also suitable for beginners; only the easy section of the via ferrata is tackled. Should the guide judge the group to be sufficiently experienced, the entire via ferrata can be hiked. Excursion not recommended for those suffering from vertigo.
Attention: minimum age 16 years.

Picnic in the most beautiful places in Niederdorf Villabassa, in the middle of the Dolomites

Enjoy an idyllic picnic amidst the breathtaking Dolomites. The filled picnic basket can be reserved through the Tourist Info. It can be picked up from 9 am and returned within 6 pm of the same day or the next morning at 9 am.
The picnic basket is filled with local products: bread, cheese, sausages, pastries and fruit from Villabassa and the surrounding area. The basket also contains a reusable glass bottle, which you can use to fill up with fresh water at the public fountains. (Vegetarian option on request). Experience a culinary highlight in the most beautiful places of Villabassa and let yourself be enchanted by the unique surroundings of the Dolomites.

As soon as you arrive, at the starting point in front of the tower in Resia Lake, you will learn more about the tragic history of the lake damming. The route then takes you up the hill to St. Anna's Church and on to the Upper Vinschgau Valley Museum. The museum provides information about the destruction and reconstruction of the villages of Curon and Resia in an extensive photo documentation. The exhibition also presents sacred artefacts as well as historical objects from everyday farming life in the past.
You will then travel by public transport to Resia. Here you have free time for lunch or to explore the village until 3:00pm.
From the Resia sports ground, the tour continues to the Bunker at the Source of the Adige River no. 20, where you will learn about the history of the construction and use of the bunkers of the Alpine Wall around the Resia Pass. This is followed by a visit to the source of the Adige, the second longest river in Italy.
The journey by public transport and food are not included in the price.

From the Gasserhut, we follow the path to the “Mair in Plun” hut and continue slightly uphill to the Stöfflhut. After the crucifix called “Kesselbild”, we ascend to the cross of Lazfons, the highest pilgrimage church in Europe.
After that, we descend to the “Chiusa al Campaccio” hut
and continue to the farm Kühhof. Once arrived, a taxi is already waiting to take us back to Laion.

After the descent, we fortify ourselves at alp Jaufen Alm with a mountain breakfast featuring local products.

From S. Cristina you walk to the Monte Pana. From here, take the Mont de Sëura chairlift to just below the Sassolungo. The trail leads over long pastures and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Passing these majestic rock formations, descend to the Passo Sella and take the bus back to S. Cristina.

From the top station of the cable car Dantercepies we hike to the refuge Jimmy and then steep up to the Forcella Cir. Afterwards we cross the upper part of Val Chedul and walk to the Passo Crespëina. We continue past the Lake of Crespëina and, after an up- and downhill stretch, we reach the Refuge Puez. After lunch break we descent into Vallunga and then cover the last part of the hike to Selva Gardena.

Join us on an extraordinary hike that not only offers breathtaking views, but also combines exciting historical, architectural and artistic experiences. Our tour begins with a ride on the cable car to the Grawand at 3,212 metres. From here, we reach the Iceman Ötzi Peak viewing platform and a unique work of art by Olafur Eliasson. During the descent along the glacier, with views of turquoise glacial lakes, we learn a lot of historical facts about the construction of the cable car to the Grawand, which was opened 50 years ago. The descent finally ends at the Teufelsegg hut, from where we take the Roter Kofel chairlift back down to the valley in comfort.
