Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. Harp sounds and aerial acrobatics turn the forest into a stage. After a shared walk, a scene unfolds in which music and movement blend with nature. The delicate tones of the harp and the graceful shapes of the acrobatics transform the forest clearing into a poetic performance. The artists: Isabel Goller is a harpist from Brixen, trained at the Mozarteum in Salzburg as well as in Zurich and Maastricht. She has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna State Opera and is co-founder of the Südtirol Filarmonica. With “Forest Art” she brings her music back into nature. Veronika Smolková is a contemporary circus artist, actress, and dancer from Prague. She earned a master’s degree in Nonverbal Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and furthered her training at a circus school in Finland. Her projects combine circus, dance, and theatre, bringing art into dialogue with nature. Alongside her artistic work, she teaches aerial and partner acrobatics at Cirqueon and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. ATTENTION:currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian On a walk together, you will learn all about ‘the poor man's bread’ and learn interesting facts about the cultivation and harvesting of chestnuts. Afterwards, you can roast chestnuts directly at the farmer's and enjoy a good glass of wine while learning a few more things first-hand.

On 27 September, the sheep return from their summer pastures. Their homecoming is celebrated at the Timmelsalm hut with the traditional sheep shearing ceremony "Schofschoade". After the shearing, the animals are handed back to their farmers. A special event for locals and guests who would like to experience this day.

An alpine adventure for those unafraid of heights: the Vallon via ferrata winds steeply and spectacularly through the rocky landscape. Accompanied by expert mountain guides, the hike becomes a safe and unforgettable experience. After about two hours of hiking, the day ends with dinner at the Franz Kostner hut and a breathtaking sunset. After dinner, a pleasant 40-minute walk to the Vallon valley station awaits , accompanied by crisp mountain air and a sparkling starry sky, beneath which the taxi for your return journey is already waiting. On 28 September 2025, as part of the European Heritage Days 2025, the spotlight will be on the fascinating Enzbirg hillfort at the summit of Monte Largo mountain. This impressive archaeological site on the border between Laives and Deutschnofen invites visitors to rediscover a millennia-old history. In addition to captivating guided tours led by the Archaeological Group of Bolzano, guests can look forward to a varied festival programme featuring music, wine, culinary delights and guided cellar tours at the Hochegg Winery. During the rutting season of the red deer at the end of September, the cries of the males ring out in the autumnal forest of the Stelvio National Park. Warmly dressed, we head out into the mountain wilderness to listen to these magnificent animals during the mating season. With any luck, we may also observe them.

Fancy a varied hike where you can discover the secrets of nature? This guided tour in the Texelgruppe Nature Park not only offers exciting insights into flora and fauna, but also runs along a particularly scenic section of the Merano High Mountain Trail, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. From Magdfeld, we follow the high trail with magnificent panoramic views over the Passeiertal Valley and the surrounding mountains. At this quiet altitude, with a little attention you can also observe the birdlife - whether chirping in the bushes or as silent shadows in the sky. The descent towards Saltaus/Saltusio begins at Riederberg. From there, we follow the Schildhöfeweg trail past traditional farms that have characterised the valley for centuries - a piece of living cultural history. Our hike ends in the small village of Quellenhof/Sorgente. You will be accompanied by a trained nature park guide, who will provide fascinating insights along the way: which plants grow here? How does the landscape change throughout the year? Which animals are native, and how do humans and nature share this space? The tour is part of a series of nine guided hikes through the Texelgruppe Nature Park - each with a different destination, each path offering new perspectives. We reach ‘Hofmahd’ in Val d'Ultimo, just before the village of Proves, where we begin our walk. We pass the Castrin alpine hut and along slopes dotted with orchids and alpine roses we reach the ‘Laugenjöchl’ yoke. Here we take the well-known Bonacossa path, cross the slopes below the summit of the Great Luco and along trail no. 10 we reach the Luco alpine pasture. From here a forest path leads to the Passo Palade, from where the bus takes us back to Lana. Altitude difference: approx. 300 m Walking time: approx. 5-5.5 hours Difficulty level: easy

Juval Castle Tour (39 km, 700 m elevation gain) The impressive Juval Castle Tour stretches over 39 kilometers and 700 meters of elevation gain, offering not only physical activity but also cultural and culinary highlights. The starting point is Algund. An experienced bike guide first leads us through a panoramic landscape to Töll. The route then continues along the Apple Road through blossoming orchards to Naturns and further towards Staben. Already during the ride, we enjoy a magnificent view up to the Juval Caslte, the famous castle of Reinhold Messner, which today houses a fascinating collection of Tibetan art and mountaineering history. We follow the bike path until the resting place (just before Staben) and then turn right at the wooden bridge towards the State Road and the Vinschgau Farmers' Store. After crossing the State Road, we need to pedal a bit more. However, with some stamina, we finally reach The Juval Castle, our destination for the day. Here, we will visit the castle and then take a delightful lunch break at a nearby inn. Rejuvenated, we begin the return journey to the starting point, Algund. The varied landscape and cultural attractions make this bike tour an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts who wish to actively explore the beauty of South Tyrol. This tour is ideal for experienced cyclists with a good basic level of fitness.

The guided hike starts in Innerratschings, from there we hike to Flading. There, we learn about the legendary sorcerer Pfeifer Huisele and take a short detour to the panoramic viewing platform, which is reached after a 15-minute uphill walk. Before heading back, we stop for a break at the inn "Schölzhornhof." On the way back, we meet Karin, a local herbal expert, who introduces us to the healing and culinary benefits of the most important roots. Afterwards, we get a chance to visit her garden. As a little souvenir, Karin prepares a small root-based product for everyone to take home. From there, it’s just a short walk back to our starting point. Duration: approx. 5,5h

The “Törggele” season begins at the beginning of October and ends with Advent. On our hike we visit the Griesser Hof winery north of Brixen, in Vahrn. We taste three white wines (included) and get to know winemaker Paul, who grows and presses the grapes for his wine himself. The hike takes us to another farm inn above Brixen, where the hosts serve us typical Törggelen dishes. We recommend a glass of white wine from Eisacktal valley (meal and drinks not included). On our autumn hike, we start at the parish church in Mittertal/Jaufental and hike along the Sennerbergbach up to the Sennerberg at 1,597 meters (approx. 300 vertical meters). On the way, we are enchanted by the untouched nature, which gives the area a very special energy. After a short break with a picnic, we continue our way back and visit the Sennerhof farm. There we have the opportunity to experience life on a farm up close and taste delicious, home-made goat products. The small farm store also offers the possibility to buy regional specialties.

In the quiet autumn months, before the first snow falls, you can learn interesting facts about the nature and culture of alpine farming. Agricultural scientist and sheep farmer Joachim Schwarz will accompany you on this journey through nature and culture.
