    Que serait la randonnée dans le Sud-Tyrol sans la traditionnelle "Brettl-Marende" ? Le Sud-Tyrol compte près de 200 alpages et refuges situés entre 300 mètres et 2.000 mètres d'altitude, surplombant les vallées et offrant une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Que ce soit sur le haut plateau de l'Alpe de Siusi, sur le Hirzer, sur le Salten ou dans d'autres parties du pays : Là où se trouvent les sentiers de randonnée, les délicieuses possibilités de se restaurer ne sont généralement pas loin.     Starting point: Via Passo Giovo, park area Kalcheralm (1.790m) For those who prefer shorter hikes. First take the car to the Via Giovo – the starting point. From the large park area – signage Kalcheralm – you have to walk about 45 minutes to finally reach the mountain pasture Kalcheralm. From there you can also begin the Ratschinger Almenweg. Alternative: reachable also from the mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen in about 30 minutes. Tip: dishes of wild game, on the weekend Krapfen and the traditional dish “Blattler mit Kraut”, accessible by car, children’s playground, South Tyrolean beer from the brewery Antonius

    Starting point: mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen (1.800m) The mountain restaurant Bergrestaurant Rinneralm is located directly at the mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen. Tip for families: the Mountain Adventure World Racines with different attractions is located directly at the mountain station! Alternative: reachable also over Bichl along path no. 13B (walking time about 1,5; 550 meters of altitude difference) Tip: every day refreshing foods and beverage, f.e. polenta and pasta dishes with mushrooms, different types of dumplings, delicious food from the grill, tasty cakes and fruity strudel.

    Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
    The hut “Kuttn” is situated on the alp of Fane (1,700 m) at the end of the Valley Valles/Vals. The sun-terrace is the right backdrop for a hiking break with hut specialties and the homemade cheese, which is produced directly at the cheese dairy next to the hut. Open from middle of April to middle of November. You can reach the Kuttnhütte from the parking lot at Fane Alm in about 10 minutes. Otherwise, it takes about 1.5 hours from the parking lot at the Kurzkofelhütte to the Kuttnhütte.

The panoramic view to Saltria, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the mountains of Val Gardena is wonderful!

    Our hut is easily reachable starting from the elementary school in Weißenbach/Rio Bianco (walking time approx. 30 min., suitable for baby strollers), starting from the hut Schnaidaleachn on the exercise path (walking time approx. 45 min.) or starting from the church on the herbs path (walking time approx. 40 min.).

    Discover without car – good connection with the public transport; connecting path to the hut Schwarzbachalm (walking time approx. 1,1/2 h).

    Easy walk on the sunny side of the Ahrntal valley, open all year, ideal destination for families and seniors – with children’s playground and sun-terrace.

    In the cold season a beautiful winter hiking trail leads to our hut.
