    Que serait la randonnée dans le Sud-Tyrol sans la traditionnelle "Brettl-Marende" ? Le Sud-Tyrol compte près de 200 alpages et refuges situés entre 300 mètres et 2.000 mètres d'altitude, surplombant les vallées et offrant une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Que ce soit sur le haut plateau de l'Alpe de Siusi, sur le Hirzer, sur le Salten ou dans d'autres parties du pays : Là où se trouvent les sentiers de randonnée, les délicieuses possibilités de se restaurer ne sont généralement pas loin.     This hike starts at the hamlet “Gasse” just before Ridnaun/Ridanna. Follow the signpost “Mareiter Stein” southwards along the asphalted road. Go past the group of farmhouses Entholz/Masi di Ento. From Entholz you go into the forest, turn right at a small stream and follow path no. 24 to a fork, where following the path no. 25B you reach the mountain pasture Kerschbaumeralm. Alternative: reachable also starting from Pratone along the asphalted road and the gravel path. Tip: grey cheese and alpine butter

We try to develop a close collaboration between the region’s agriculture and the tourism sector. RUSTIC - The old farmhouse parlour is more than 150 years old and comes from Val Pusteria. This special wood spreads a very pleasant and cosy atmosphere. COSY - Using a professional mixture of tradtional and modern style and the combination of the old wood from local forests with natural stone and glass create this special alpine flair AUTHENTIC - Food should be consumed there where it is grown and harvested – according to this principle we are buying food, ingredients and drinks from local farmers of the area.

    The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

    Starting point: head valley Val Ridanna - Masseria (1.417m) Start at the gate and follow the asphalted road uphill, very steep at first, then a little flatter after 800m. At the bridge we turn left and follow the signposts to the mountain pasture Moarerbergalm. After the Poschhaus ruin we turn off to the right and hike approx. 200m to the mountain pasture Moarerbergalm. Alternative: reachable by using the bus of the Mining Museum, registration required (Tel. +390472656364) Tip: homemade cheese and butter

    Initial approach is from Valdaora di Sopra (Oberolang): drive to the parking area for tourists (approx. 1,160 m) below the Riedlerhöfe Farms. From there, follow trail markings (No. 20), first along a forest road to Rio Bruns (Brunstbach) Stream. Turn left again at the nearby crossroads, and head through the steep wooded slopes, partly on a forest road and then mostly on a steep footpath, up to a forested ridge. The last segment is a slope crossing, partly flat, over to the Brunstalm pasture and its mountain ??hut (1,898 m; serving food); 2 to 2.5 hours from the starting point. Descent: same as ascent described above or the easier, albeit longer, forest road; 1.5 to 2 hrs.

    The K2 Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, directly at the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift. This location offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. The terrace of the mountain restaurant, which stands out for its unique archi-tectural design, invites you to bask in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere – with a direct view of the impressive Ortler. The menu at the K2 Hut is diverse: daily specials, juicy steaks, and delicious fish specialties are served, delighting both gourmets and hikers. A special highlight is the homemade apple strudel, which should never be missed during a visit. The K2 Hut is accessible via hiking trails 3 and 4. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Langenstein chairlift.

    The Upper Stelvio pasture is located at an altitude of 2,077 m, above the idyllic mountain village of Stelvio. The alpine pasture is not only a popular spot for nature lovers but also a culinary highlight. In the warm kitchen, delicious South Tyrolean specialties are served that delight the palate and are perfect for recharging after a hike. The Upper Stelvio pasture also serves as a starting point for numerous hikes, including the popular route to Piz Chavalatsch. The beautiful hiking trails offer not only spectacular views but also the opportunity to experience the untouched nature of the Stelvio National Park. The alpine pasture is conveniently accessible via trail No. 6 from the Fragges wildlife park or via trail No. 4 from the Trafoi chairlift, each taking about 2 hours to reach.

Particularly famous is the renowned Kaiserschmarrn, served here to perfection and a true delight for every palate. The bright, modern bar furnished with wood invites guests to linger and offers breathtaking views of Sulden and the impressive mountain world surrounding King Ortler. Here, you can unwind after an adventurous hike and fully enjoy the beauty of nature. The Kanzel Hut is easily accessible via hiking trails No. 5, 11, and 12. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Kanzel or Rosim (open only in winter) cable car.
