The Upper Stelvio pasture is located at an altitude of 2,077 m, above the idyllic mountain village of Stelvio. From here, a breathtaking view of the majestic Ortler and the surrounding mountain landscape unfolds, enchanting every visitor. The Upper Stelvio pasture also serves as a starting point for numerous hikes, including the popular route to Piz Chavalatsch. The beautiful hiking trails offer not only spectacular views but also the opportunity to experience the untouched nature of the Stelvio National Park.
The alpine pasture is conveniently accessible via trail No. 2 from the Fragges wildlife park or via trail No. 4 from the Trafoi chairlift, each taking about 2 hours to reach.
