Impressive hike over the alpine pastures of the Hirzer region. This delightful hike including a cable car ride captivates with its splendid views and idyllic spots that encourage walkers to stop and linger for a while.
The circular hike begins by crossing the suspension bridge built in 2018. The trail continues to the turquoise Lake Carezza, especially beautiful in the morning light. It then leads through the mystical Latemar Forest. After that, you scramble over rocks and roots through the impressive rock labyrinth beneath the Latemar. On the Latemar meadows, you reach the Eggental Mountain Cinema, offering breathtaking views of the Rosengarten and Latemar peaks. After taking in the panorama, a relaxing break at the Latmor Alm is highly recommended – perfect for resting and enjoying the view. The hike then continues up to the Karer Pass, the highest point of the route.
Note – trail [21] has some fallen trees to cross.
The alpine path through the pastures in the Talle/Hirzer hiking area stretches from Videgg over the Stafell Alm to the Mahdalm and mostly runs above the tree line, meaning that this hike offers unforgettable views of the surrounding mountain landscape, especially in good weather. This route is especially worth trying in late-June, when the beautiful fields of Alpine roses on the southern slope are in full bloom.

Very beautiful hike, starting from the parking at the Mount Baranci Valley Station. Go up on the sled run until reaching the Rifugio Gigante Baranci Mountain Hut. Then return to the valley via the Bagni di San Candido Springs.
The trail around Mount Sas de Putia leads through a diverse and magnificent landscape. Rugged rock, vast meadows. A flora rich in species and colours. Inside puddles you can find Alpine newts, in areas with mountain pines you can find chamois and marmots hide between rocks. The canyon of stream Moibach gives an insight into the layers of the era before the Dolomites formed.
This hike leads across the blooming Latemar meadows to the Eggental mountain cinema, from where you can enjoy the view of the mountains, before entering the rock labyrinth - a true adventure at the foot of the Latemar.

Winter walk along the Plima river in the fairy-tale winter landscape of Val Martello.
Growing in the Karerwald forest, the hazel tree is used especially for the production of string instruments. For this reason, the wood has also been called ‘tonewood’. You start from the Karerwald forest to walk to the popular boulder labyrinth which acquired its name from the house-sized boulders that fell during a massive landslide from the Latemar mountain long ago.

The Pinot Noir Trail in the south of South Tyrol is a new educational path where you can learn more about our land’s culture and its wines. It winds through the famed Pinot Noir vineyards and along the Trudner Horn Nature Park. It starts at the quaint villages of Auer, Montan, and Neumarkt in the Unterland district and leads you through Italy’s best Pinot Noir terroirs in Mazon, Glen, and Pinzon. You can choose between a 16-km-long one-day outing or three half-day tours.
Along the way, hikers and strollers will encounter various historical spots and cultural highlights – e.g., the significant archeological sites of Castelfeder, the oldest segment of the Fiemme Valley railway, St. Stephan’s Church in Pinzon with its late-Gothic Altar by the Master Hans Klocker, the idyllic St. Michael’s Church in Mazon, the ruins of Kaldiff, and the handsome Enn Castle. Along the way, information panels and interactive stations will help you learn more about this unique wine-growing area and its history. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Unterland district. The differences in elevation shouldn’t be a problem as most of the route is relatively level. But there’s a lot to explore and discover, for young and old alike! It’s easy, comfortable, and suitable for
families. The route is open 12 months a year. A red “B” will lead the way.
The hike to Lorenzi Hütte is a great opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Dolomites. You can reach the hut on foot either from Gassl or Geiselsberg. Path Nr. 3 leads you through a stunning alpine landscape, passing lush meadows and shaded forests as you steadily make your way to the destination. The hike is well-marked and suitable for both experienced hikers and families. Along the way, you’ll enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks and the idyllic scenery. After a moderate ascent, you’ll finally arrive at Lorenzi Hütte, located on a beautiful plateau. Here, you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the delicious regional specialties served in the cozy hut. The peaceful setting and fresh mountain air make this a perfect retreat to relax and rejuvenate. For those who prefer a more convenient option or have less time, Lorenzi Hütte is also accessible by car. Whether you choose to hike or drive, Lorenzi Hütte offers an ideal starting point to enjoy nature and spend a relaxing day in the mountains.

From Pederü follow trail number 7 to the Fanes hut, where you will have the opportunity to taste typical dishes based on simple and genuine ingredients. Alternatively, you can reach the Lavarella hut, with its new microbrewery, the highest in Europe, where you can enjoy an authentic artisan beer. From the Fanes mountain hut, continue to the left and you will reach Lake Limo and the Fanes Grande mountain hut. The breathtaking view, enhanced by three idyllic lakes, makes this hike unique.

With the bus we reach Passo Costaluga where we take the path to a mysterious rock labyrinth which a huge landslide from the Latemar a long time ago has formed at the foot of the Latemar.where we follow the signposts no. 21 and 17, stretching underneath the Latemar. First we walk along a broad forested trail, until we reach the first signpost "Labyrinth". Immediately the forest ends and the mighty Latemar towers into the sky in front of our eyes.The Hintereggalm forms part of the Tall pastures and has been used as a summer meadow for rearing local agricultural animals for generations. The area has been popular with the many hikers that visit it from an early stage, meaning that food and drink have been available at the Hinteregger Alm hut since the 1970s.
This walk takes you from Ora, through an idyllic wood, to the wine village of Montagna. The mountainside along which the path winds is particularly famous for the typical vineyards where the best Pinot Noir grapes in South Tyrol grow. Montagna is also the ideal starting point for the magnificent panoramic trail that has been made from the old railway line that led all the way into the Val di Fiemme.
This scenically enchanting hike over the broad alpine pastures of the Hirzer region is especially recommended during the alpine rose flowering season from late June to early July when the pastures are resplendent in shimmering red.
Due to a huge landslide from the Latemar a long time ago, a mysterious rock labyrinth has formed at the foot of the Latemar. This adventure hike starts at the Karer See lake and leads you via the Mitterleger into the rock labyrinth of the Latemar.
