The winter hike to the huts Schönrast, Schmieder, and Lahner in the Eggental Valley provides a scenic journey through a snow-covered mountain landscape. Following the annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany in 1938, the Saalen-Montal bunker was hastly designed to form part of the Vallo Alpino Littorio system of fortifications. It was constructed between 1939 an 1941.

The Hörner Tour begins at the parking lot in Jochgrimm – there are several refreshment options there. This hike will take you to the Weisshorn and then back to the starting-point. Afterwards, you can climb the Schwarzhorn. The "Hörner" ("horns") can, of course, be climbed in the reverse order. This is a challenging hike – offering extraordinary and spectacular views.
The starting point for this hike is the valley head of Ridnaun/Ridanna. Follow the trail no. 28 over a wide path, past the ore processing facility of the mine. The signs to the Stadlalm lead through the beautiful forest of the Lazzacher valley. At the fork turn right to the mountain pasture Stadlalm.
Alternative 1: reachable also over the nature trail of the Mining Museum.
Alternative 2: circuit cross the panoramic platform Hoher Nock with a 360° panorama view
The panorama trail from Falzeben to Kreuzjöchl is an ideal route for sporty sun worshippers.

The hike from Solda/Sulden to the Piani di Rosim/Rosimboden is about 6.3 km long. You should not miss this wonderful hike. Apart from the breathtaking panorama, the tour does not require much fitness, so you can enjoy the view wonderfully.

Starting point of this snowshoe hike is the valley station of the chairlift Malga Tarres.
Another much-loved winter hiking trail starts out in Hafling/Avelengo, passes the Wurzer Alm and Vöraner Alm Mountain Huts, continues on to Kreuzjöchl and then across the snowy pass from Vöran/Verano to Hafling above the timberline.
Beautiful tour in the quiet Jaufental valley. From the village of Mittertal/ Val di mezzo on a small road towards "Hotel Jaufentalerhof" (signposted). Pass it and continue to Kaltenbrunn. From there turn right and follow the forest path back to Mittertal.
The Mountain Hut Hike is a special highlight of the Meran 2000 hiking area: the loop hike leads by picturesque mountain huts.
There is a great treasure trove of legends in the village of St. Lorenzen. In order to bring it to the attention of the community, the 3 km long Legend Trail was established. It is based on the collection of legends by the old master of Tyrolean legend research Johann A. Hezl. Pupils from the primary school designed the picture boards for the ten stations.
