From Pederü, follow the road to the Fanes pastures.
Our suggestion: Walk on to the Limo pass (15 minutes’ walking distance from the Fanes inn) to enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view out onto the “Fanes realm”.
Start from the Kampidell parking space and follow trail to the Jenesiener Jöchl. Continue hiking on the path no. 23/23B until you reach "Stoanerne Mandlen - Men of Stone". On your way back, walk along trail no. 23A until you reach the Möltner Kaser restaurant and trail no. 28 to come back to your starting point. Duration of the excursioin: 4 hours - Drop/rise: 560 m
From the Ruis cable car peak station (2275 m) at the top of Mount Kronplatz, turn left in the direction of the race track. Walk along the beaten track until you reach a lookout point with a cross, offering a stunning view onto the Dolomites and the three villages of Marebbe: San Vigilio, Pieve Marebbe and Rina. If you keep walking, the trail will take you to the Graziani inn (2080 m). For the return journey, follow the same route as the outward journey.
The Ütia Gardenacia hut above La Villa is an excellent starting point for a number of different walks in its vicinity, to absorb the peace and quiet that still reigns in this area.
If you're lucky, you may even see the chamoix goats and marmot squirrels which, in the company of the cows and horses, thanks to the abundant and nutritious grass in the high mountain pastures.
The stroll begins on Str. Fanes: Walk through the Pes-Pesc playground, then continue along the paved dirt road parallel to the cross-country skiing slope (pedestrians: please keep off the slope) until just before you reach the Ciamaor sports grounds. The forest trail will take you to Ciamaor (to the left of the football pitch). Having passed the Ciamaor bridge, keep left and continue along the picturesque trail until you get to Lé dla Creda. Continue along the main road until you reach the Tamersc fields and, after 3 km, the Pederü mountain inn.
The romanesque church St.Jakob on the Langfenn is positioned on the most visible and on the highest point of the Salto (1525m). The church stands on prehistoric ground and could tell us probabely many interesting and exciting historical things. On the altar we can see Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers, and on his side the two Patrons of the pest, Rochus and Sebastian..
Walk past the Miara cable car station and follow the road up to the Hotel Restaurant Spaces and on to the hamlet Rara. Turn right onto forest path no. 1 which will take you to Passo Furcia, where a number of inns offer food and drinks. We suggest the same route for your return journey.
From the Pares car park, take the forest road no. 5, 5A which leads gently uphill through the woods and on to the Medalghes pastures.
A special adventure at Meran 2000 is the idyllic loop trail that runs from either Falzeben or Piffing to Kratzbergersee Lake. The small mountain lake, which is easily accessible to families with children, offers a magnificent view of the neighbouring Sarntal Valley. Hikers can cool tired feet in the cold water.
Please note: This is not a bathing lake.
Setting off from Hotel Les Alpes, follow the trail until you reach Sarjëi (food and drinks available at Agriturismo Soleseid).

Walk from Schermoos over the Möltner Joch to the Möltner Kaser. From here you can visit the famous Omini di Pietra, where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the surrounding mountains. Finally, you will continue and cross the Auenjoch via large meadows and finally reach the Kreuzjoch. The long path is rewarded here with an excellent panorama. An interesting panorama map tells you which mountains you are looking at.
This circular hike in Badia takes visitors into the very heart of the unique natural landscape of the Armentara meadows.
You cross snow-covered meadows in an incredible beauty. Above the tree line extend the alpine pastures, testimony to the work of man. Farmers here have shaped the landscape while still maintaining its equilibrium.
The Via Ferrata Murmele close to the Rifugio Nino Corsi (Zufallhütte) in Val Martello, is a choice route for climbers and families alike.
Mölten, a village close to the mountain Tschögglberg above Boozen, is embedded in the mountain meadows of one of the most beautiful plateaus in South Tyrol.
The hike is beautiful for every on and the ambience is very variable. On the Möltner Kaser the panorama is breathtaking.
The Ütia Gardenacia hut lies at the eastern end of the Nature Park Puez-Odle over the village of La Villa, in the middle of green meadows dotted with larches. It offers a spectacular view over the villages of Alta Badia and its mountains, such as the Sas dla Crusc, Lavarela and Conturines, while in the distance the Tofane, the Pelmo, the Civetta and the Marmolada can be discerned.
This hike through the Meran 2000 ski area leads along leisurely trails.
From Pederü, the road takes you up to the refuges of Fodara and Senes.
This trail is fascinating even without skis – just get yourself a cable car return ticket to the top of Mount Kronplatz. The view from up there is simply breath-taking! From the impressive Concordia bell, marvel at the 360° peak relief depicting the mountains surrounding Kronplatz and gaze out into the fascinating Alpine panorama.
During this hike, you will walk through the wide meadows of the highplateau Salto, lined with larch forests.
The malga Gschnoferstall is verry well and quiet located. At the hut, you will be served with delicious and typical South Tyrolean dishes, which invite you to sample.
