A scenic circuit along the steep southern slopes of the Aferer Geisler mountains in Villnöss/Funes.
The hike starts directly at the mountain station Stiergarten and leads from there always slightly downhill to the Malga Klammbach, the Malga Nemes and the Coltrondo and from there on over to the middle station of the cable car Stiergarten. There you can take the gondola back to the valley.
Very sunny and well sheltered from the wind, the Winter Promenade runs along the river; it is the natural continuation of the Passer Promenade. Its most distinctive landmark is the Wandelhalle covered passageway, which provides shelter from inclement weather. The Wandelhalle also houses a gallery of paintings depicting landscapes of South Tyrol and busts of significant figures in the city’s history.
The hike starts directly at the mountain station of Monte Baranci, accessible by the 4-seater chairlift from the centre of San Candido/Innichen. From there you pass the Bagni di San Candido and then you arrive again in the town.
This leisurely hike is varied with castles, churches and nature experiences.
From Natz, the path leads down the Rienzschlucht gorge on trail no. 4; there you cross the Rienz river on the pedestrian bridge and walk up to the Niedersthof farm. After about 800 meters in the direction of Lüsen, a trail branches off to Rodeneck. Past the wayside shrine, follow trail no. 1 to Rodenegg Castle via the hamlets of Spisses and Vill. The path (still on trail no. 1) leads through the forest down to the Rienzschlucht gorge and over the Rundlbrücke bridge, back to Viums and Natz.
Along the edge oft the woods, in direction to the Mooskirche you can always enjoy the view to the village and to the Pragser Dolomites. At the Gothic church „St. Magdalena im Moos“ or „Mooskirche“, benches invite you to stop for a rest. On the way back across paved road, sorrounded by fields.
The Hintertalweg trail leads through the typical Pfitscher high valley. The pleasant walk with slight inclines circles the Pfitsch valley end and allows wonderful views on the peaks of the Zillertal alps. Suitable for strollers.
The hike starts directly at the mountain station Stiergarten and leads from there always slightly downhill over the Malga Klammbach to the Malga Nemes and from there to the Passo Monte Croce. From there the ski bus brings you back to the starting point Signaue.

Easy excursion along the river Rienz, slight ascent from "Neunhäusern" until Aufkirchen, descent to Dobbiaco and return to Villabassa on asfalt road.
The circular hike to the Grubberg mountain hut runs through the picturesque Val di Vizze mountain world. The trail goes through the woods up to the mountain hut (no service), which is beautifully situated below the Wolfendorn summit. You can enjoy a very beautiful panorama over the Val di Vizze mountains.
From the village Barbian/Barbiano we hike on the "Wasserfallweg" to the lower and to the upper waterfall (we need good foodwear). On the trail nr. 34 we pass the "Katzenleiter", "Kasserol and "Stangen". We hike until Briol on the mark nr. 27 and then we take the trail nr. 4 to Dreikirchen/Trechiese. For the return we take the way nr. 6 to "Schlernbank", then nr. 3 to "Feistegg" and on this way we come back to Barbian/Barbiano.
This eventful hike for practiced mountain hikers starts at the church in Foiana, passes the old Nagelehof farm, branches off behind it to the left at the crossroads (trail no. 4) towards Jochweg, and leads, climbing gradually, through forests and mountain meadows to the Gruberhof.
Above the farm, trail no. 2 leads through woodland and meadows onwards to Unterplatzers (Hauser). Here trail no. 2 meets trail no. 10, which leads from the Völlaner Badl hotel up into the village of Platzers. Now follow this trail to the little church of St. Sebastian in Platzers. It dates from the 16th century. The small village of Platzers is the remotest parish in the district of Tesimo.
Possible return route: from the village of Platzers on trail no. 10 to Unterplatzers (Hauser) and continue via the Völlaner Badl to Völlan.

This winter hike to the Rittner Horn mountain starts at the Gasserhütte mountain hut. Follow the prepared winter hiking trail first to the Mair in Plun and from there to the Gasteiger Sattel saddle. Keep following the winter trail as far as the Rittner Horn. Refreshments are available en route at the Mair in Plun hut, Oberes Horn Haus and Gasserhütte. Return is by the same route.
The starting point of this hike is the parking lot in front of the restaurant "Grüner Baum". From there you can reach the parking lot Schermoos via a vcery diversified path . From there we head for the circular route Langfenn, which leads directly to the eponymous. Worth a look here is the little church St Jakob.
This Romanesque church on Langfenn lies on the most visible and highest point of the plateau Salten (1525m).It stands on prehistoric soil and could probably tell a lot of exciting and historic stories from past years.On the altar we can see Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers, the two plague patrons Rochus and Sebastian aside.
Quite difficult, but very beautiful hike, starting from the Val Campo di Dentro/Innerfeldtal Valley in the middle of the unique Three Peaks Nature Park. The path until the destination Three Peaks is entirely on the Alpine Dolomites Hiking Path No. 4. At arrival on Rifugio Locatelli/Drei-Zinnen-Hütte Mountain Hut you will have a stunning view of the Three Peaks.
The hiking trail from Meltina/Mölten to the Leadner Alm leads through a beautiful forest. Sometimes it also passes meadows. A pleasant hiking tour from the village of Mölten uphill, with a beautiful panorama and distant view above the village, passing the small village Eschio/ Aschl to the destination and rest possibility of our hike, the Alp Leadner Alm.
The trail is a pleasant valley path with a panoramic view over the Wipptal basin and leads from Stilfes village to Reifenstein castle. The castle is always a visit worth and also the nearby St. Zeno church.
The Foiana Panoramic Trail (partly also a narrow mountain path) offers a breathtaking view of the Merano basin. The route begins behind the old Nagelehof farm at the crossroads. Turning left, follow trail no. 4 past the Gruberhof and Tratterhof. At the first left-hand bend the panoramic trail forks right. The path then runs level through the trees to the first viewing point, known as Kitzerknott, and after a somewhat steep descent to the second point, Schöne Aussicht. The hike continues to trail no. 9 which leads steeply downhill. At the Steinweiherhof, turn right, and once past the sports ground you will return to your starting point.
This hike for practiced mountain hikers starts at the church in Foiana, passes the old Nagelehof farm, branches off behind it to the left at the crossroads (trail no. 4) towards Jochweg, and leads, climbing gradually, through forests and mountain meadows to the Gruberhof and Traterhof, then onwards to the Gallhof farms (closed).
From here the trail continues to the right. You will hike through shady woodland below the Jochberg as far as the Jagdhütte refuge (no refreshments), via the Völlaner Joch plateau and eventually from there onwards along a rather steep path to Platzers.
Possible return route: from the village of Platzers take trail no. 10 to Unterplatzers (Hauser) and continue via the Völlaner Badl to Foiana.
