Moderately difficult but very rewarding hike along the "Mühlenweg" to Caprile/Gfrill.
From the parish church in Tesimo follow the main road towards Prissiano for approx. 200 m until you reach a large wooden cross, known as the “Hohes Kreuz”. Next turn right and uphill, following the signposts for “Oberer Wiesenweg” and trail no. 13, as far as Castel Zwingenburg. Now turn left, remaining in the Prissiano valley, along Mühlenweg. The gently undulating broad forest track leads first of all to the stream and then along the stream, always slightly uphill, past two ruined and two renovated mills. After a bridge on the trail marked 7B, turn sharply right through forest and meadows past the Haselrasterhof, and then continue right on trail no. 13. Now either take a quick side trip to Caprile (refreshment stop at the Gfrillerhof inn) or, remaining on trail no. 13, return to Castel Zwingenburg and your starting point.
