From game to game: Galloping into the Middle Ages is every spring the returning motto in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting. The second game, the labyrinth, is on program at the Matzlbödele in Seis.The third of four stages takes place at the Völser Weiher lake with its gallop. The guided bike tour starting from the Rosskopf valley station leads along the bike path towards the south to Stilfes. Via a forest road, you'll reach the small natural pond. As every year, the St. Veit market is held in June. This is one of the fairs in the Upper Venosta Valley. To be more precise, it is held on the Tarces hill and in the village of Tarces. In addition to the hustle and bustle of the market, the focus here is also on socialising. With good food and drink, great music and a children's programme, there is something for everyone! There are, of course, handicraft products as well as colourful, tasty and healthy products on offer. On Sunday, June 15, more than 300 young talents from all regions of Italy will compete at the “Combi” sports field in the Olympic Recurve and Compound bow disciplines. A very special hike for families as part of the X-Days: From the mountain station Pivigna to the Kuhleiten Alpine Hut, children aged 7 and up will encounter various stations to complete. These stations were organized and implemented in collaboration with the Jugenddienst Bozen-Land. After each station, participants will receive a stamp – and upon successfully completing all stations, the little adventurers can look forward to a small surprise at the Kuhleiten Alpine Hut! Discover Lana - welcome tour. Every Monday, guests are welcomed in front of the information office in Lana, the weekly programme is presented followed by a tour of the historic centre of Lana. You will receive useful information about the holiday region of Lana (countryside and people, hiking, excursions, visits to restaurants, fruit and wine growing, etc.) and learn about interesting monuments from eight centuries. Fancy a varied hike where you can discover the secrets of nature? You'll learn lots of interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the Texelgruppe Nature Park. The guided hike starts in Platt/Plata and takes you to the impressive primeval larch - a real natural monument. The route continues along a section of the Merano High Mountain Trail, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The trail leads to Außerhütt and from there back to Platt. Along the way, you will encounter stories from times long past - of ancient trees, inconspicuous forest dwellers and surprising proportions in nature. You will be accompanied by a trained nature park guide, who will provide fascinating insights along the way: which plants grow here? How does the landscape change throughout the year?
