Tuesday, 23.12.2025 – COOKIE DECORATING:
Here, our little artists are in demand. Using various edible decorations, children – together with their parents if they wish – can decorate a traditional “Spitzbub” cookie and take it home.
The price includes the decorated cookie, warm tea, and a traditional Tyrolean apron.

Monday, 05.01.2026 – CRAFTING HOUR:
Children can individually design a Sesto fabric bag. With different colours and shapes, the bags become a unique souvenir and keepsake.
The price includes the bags and all materials used.

Wednesday, 11.02.2026 – KROPFN DECORATING:
Perfect for the carnival season, traditional carnival doughnuts can be decorated with various edible toppings.
The price includes the decorated pastry, warm tea, and a traditional Tyrolean apron.

Monday, 16.02.2026 – LEGEND HOUR:
The old legend of the “Knödelweible” comes to life again. While immersing oneself in the story, the reading is experienced in an active and participatory way.

When the stars and the moon are shining from the sky, a new adventure can begin. The funicular takes you up to Alpe Resciesa in the Nature Park Puez–Odle. In the restaurant at the top you can enjoy a delicious dinner. Then you should put your jacket and your gloves on, take your headlamps and start for an unforgettable toboggan ride down to the valley.

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings.

Participation is free with the Guest Pass Kronplatz. All others pay an entry fee of €5.00.

No registration is required.

A snowshoe hike to discover the winter magic of Resciesa. In the company of a guide you will explore the Resciesa Alp in the middle of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). Once you arrive at the mountain station, start heading East by passing behind the hut. Although you'll be following a prepared track, it's possible to put on your snowshoes right away! After only a few minutes you'll reach the Cason hut. Keep wakling until you reach a crucifix, then continue uphill through the woods. Soon you'll reach the edge of the forest and the wide pastures of Resciesa will extend at your feet. You'll notice a little tower made of rocks nearby - it's called "Ciampanil de Livio" and was built by a bored shepherd while his sheep were grazing in the surrounding pastures. From here you'll be able to clearly make out the crest of Resciesa. You can reach it in little time by following a trail uphill. Once you get to the ridge, walk along it to the west (you should be able to make out a crucifix in the distance) and you'll eventually reach the highest part of the alp. Take your time to enjoy the 360 degree view from the top. To your left, you'll be able to admire the pastures above Villandro, to the North the mountains of Zillertal, to the South Alpe di Siusi with mount Sciliar and the Rosengarten, and to the East of course the unmistakable Odle mountains. This view alone is worth the excursion - it's one of the best in the valley. Once you've taken it all in, simply hike back in direction Resciesa hut - that is your last chance to enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to the middle station and getting back to Ortisei. With a promising tone, lights and angels, Christmas trees and a small Christmas market announce the holiday season in Kaltern, which makes the most of its smaller size with nothing lacking. A contemplative village stroll if desired, enjoying wine and fine treats in festive garb, embedded in culinary traditions with both old customs and new practices that will join them. A celebration of joy, sharing, and community, surrounded by music and hospitality in the heart of Kaltern.

Parish church of Fiè: Christmas mass for childrens

Fun and entertainment for children. Christmas is an exciting time for children, and the Merano Christmas Markets have reserved a space for them dedicated to imagination and creativity. On the upper promenade (near the Posta bridge) is the Goldie's House, the mascot of the Merano Christmas Markets, who welcomes his young guests on weekends and during the Christmas holidays with lots of workshops for children aged 4 and up. Once again this year, the Christmas Mass for children will take place in Völser Aicha on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m.

What would Christmas Eve be without music? After the Children's Mass you can hear the sounds of the tower brass from the Parish church tower Ortisei and then at the small Antonius Square. On December 24th at 4 pm, the KFS organizes the children’s Christmas celebration in the pilgrimage church of Riffian/Rifiano.

The Christmas story is presented in a nativity play, accompanied by Christmas songs.

The event will be held in German.

On 25.12.2025, at the height of the Christmas season, festive melodies will fill Pfelders/Plan once again. Starting from the Pisten Pub at 6 pm, the young musicians of the Bohemian music of Pfelderer/Plan will move through local inns and hotels. There, they will perform their rehearsed pieces – in the hall, at the bar, or in the lounge – creating a magical Christmas evening.

Musical evening with the trombone quartet from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – look forward to a musical evening!

Snowshoe tour along the crest of Rasciesa in direction Brogles to the hut Geisleralm. Stopover at the hut followed by a joint toboggan run down to St.Magdalena/Ranui. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2163m). From the top station, take trail no. 35, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent by a toboggan (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen. On 26 December, Steinegg comes alive with music, good vibes and community spirit. At the 3rd Hittn Revival, you can look forward to a full day of live bands, local flavour and warm festive atmosphere – all for a good cause, as all proceeds will be donated to the St. Vincent Conference.
