In addition to the permanent exhibitions ‘The discovery of Ötzi’ and ‘Primitive? Skilled!’, the archeoParc in Madonna di Senales presents a small photo exhibition every year in the museum’s cafeteria. This year’s edition features works by the young hunter Simone Santer: photographs of animals, plants, and landscapes. EXHIBITION PERIOD 30th April - 02nd November 2025 from 12 p.m. - 16:30 p.m. at the archeoParc.

A romantic torchlight hike awaits you! The meeting point with Simone, who accompanies the hike, is at the tourist office in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. From there, you will need to drive independently to the Oberkofl farm, which takes about five minutes. The easy hike starts there and leads you past the farm along an idyllic forest path to the mystical St. Agatha Church, which lies in a clearing in the woods. The trail is easy to walk, with no major elevation changes. Along the way, Simone will share fascinating stories about the legendary church and this special place. This hike takes us to the Nature Park Puez - Odle, part of the Dolomites Unesco World Heritage.
We will walk alongside the majestic Puez Group, at the bottom of its peaks Cima Dodici, Capuziner and Piz Duleda.
Reaching Fontanacia at the end of the valley, we will be surrounded by th magical silence of the pale mountains.

We will return via the Medalges meadows, konwn for their colourful flora.

An afternoon dedicated to apples in the company of the ‘sommelier of apples'. In the orchard he tells how this fruit is cultivated and what characteristics differentiate the different varieties. During the tasting takes participants on a journey through flavours, scents textures and aromas and shows how versatile the apple can be in the kitchen. (In German and Italian language) Price: free. An adventure for the whole family! Participants can experience the thrill of wild water on the Adige River in specially rafts, guided by professional instructors from the outdoor activity organization "Acquaterra". A shuttle service will bring our guests from Algund Town Hall to Kastelbell in the Vinschgau Valley, the starting point of the tour.

The ascent to Sas dla Para above the Fodara Vedla hut at 2,460 m offers a breathtaking view up to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Observe the shimmering roofs of the houses in the distance and experience the feeling of freedom, like the Alpine choughs dancing in the rhythm of the wind over your heads.

The Biathlon Centre at the the Martelltal valley is located at 1,700 m. It is one of the most modern biathlon centres in the Alpine region, and snow is guaranteed here. It is a training camp and venue for national and international competitions. A guided shooting and safety training session with a small-bore rifle will introduce you to the fascinating world of biathlon.

Under the aspect of "animal welfare," Anneliese and Andreas produce the products of Pfitscher Gaumenfreuden. Join us on an exciting discovery journey to the "Reichmessnerhof" in St. Jakob in Pfitsch. See how chickens, pigs, and cattle live in their free-range enclosures. During a tasting, you can enjoy the various products. Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. The "Tartscher Bühel" is a special place of power in Val Venosta. The hiking guide will accompany you on this easy circular hike through mountain pine fields to the demonstration distillery at Marzuner Schupfe.
