From Naturno you cycle comfortably along the Adige cycle path to Merano. From the Thermenplatz square, head eastwards through the Elisabeth Park into the Passeier Valley. Mostly flat, with a slight incline, you can enjoy the marvellous landscape along the Passeier cycle path (19 km). The refreshing air of the Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path to St. Leonhard. The wind ensemble "Philomousia" was founded in 2005 and has since been performing regularly in variable formations, from trio to extended wind ensemble. We play classical harmony music, which is ideal music for a balmy summer evening. The repertoire ranges from original works of the pre-classical period to typical arrangements of important operas and symphonies of the late 18th and early 19th centuries for this instrumentation. Othmar Trenner presided over the ensemble from 2013 to 2022, and Manfred Egger took over in 2023.

During the treasure hunt in the great outdoors, we learn all kinds of interesting facts about the different breeds of cattle in South Tyrol, why a cow gives milk and how butter was made in the past.

The tour starts with a short introduction about llamas and getting to know the absolutely child-friendly and curious animals. We don't ride the lamas, but load them up with provisions and equipment and then we're off! We walk with the fuzzy animals for about 2 hours, past meadows and forest clearings. Our adventure continues with an excursion to Lake Toblach. During this hike we can immerse ourselves deeply in nature and learn a lot about it. What are plecoptera larvae? What does their presence indicate? Which animals live in the forest? Do carnivorous plants also exist in the mountains? Many topics will be covered. Each participant will be given an observation magnifier, do you know it? These are useful jars with a magnifying glass on the lid, an indispensable tool for field research. A true Ranger cannot do without one! In the afternoon, back at the Visitor Centre, there will finally be the awarding of the Dolomiti Ranger diplomas!
