Authentic and Traditional – The Ritten Christmas Market. The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben. On Saturdays and Sundays: Horse-drawn carriage rides from Klobenstein station to the village centre, introductory pony riding, and llama and pony walks in Oberbozen. The youngest artists are also part of the celebration: pupils from the local primary school lovingly decorate the stations along the Ritten Railway line with festive creations. “Hark, what comes from out the woods so near? The School Museum of Bolzano celebrates the festive season with its special Holiday Mailbox! Visitors are invited to choose a postcard, write a personal holiday message, and drop it into our mailbox—our team will take care of sending it, adding a warm and nostalgic touch to the holidays.

Guided tours and postcard mailing are completely free, offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the museum in a cosy and festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect activity for families, school groups, and anyone wishing to share holiday joy.

The initiative runs from 28 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, with special opening hours:
Friday 2:30–5:00 p.m. | Saturday–Sunday 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Guided tours on other days can be arranged upon reservation (minimum 6 participants).

The museum is closed on Mondays and on 24, 25, 31 December 2025 and 1 January 2026.

As you stroll through the small wooden huts, glowing with warm lights and festively decorated, you’ll be enveloped by an inviting atmosphere. The scent of hot mulled wine and delicious treats invites you to pause and enjoy the magic of the holiday season. Each hut offers unique handmade treasures that showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans.

A highlight of the market is the impressive life-sized nativity scene, lovingly carved by the sculptor Leo Moroder. Every year, new figures are added, making this artwork a vibrant symbol of the most beautiful Christmas traditions.

And when live music fills the air between the snow-covered huts, the market becomes even more enchanting. On certain evenings, concerts create a truly special festive atmosphere.

Last year, for every cup of mulled wine sold, €1.00 was donated to Aiüt Alpin Dolomites, raising a total of €3,000 in support of the valuable work of the mountain rescue team.
This year, the initiative continues, with a part of the proceeds being donated to another local association, sharing the magic of Christmas through solidarity.

Visit our gastronomic Christmas market with the new Christmas shop in the historic heart of Dobbiaco from 28.11.2025 to 06.01.2026. Many huts await you with a rich offer of local delicacies prepared by Dobbiaco's gastronomists, the pavilion where an exciting entertainment programme takes place and the new Christmas shop where you can find a selection of handicrafts made by local artisans. This winter, the Watles adventure mountain once again invites you to enjoy sporty and culinary adventures at 2,000 metres! All this awaits you at the toboggan evenings on the Watles Adventure Mountain. The Watles toboggan piste is illuminated on these evenings from 7 - 11 pm! You can whizz down the piste several times! The Plantapatsch hut is open for you during the night tobogganing and will spoil you with hot drinks and good food. Be part of it! The team at the Watles Adventure Mountain is looking forward to seeing you!

Every Friday evening from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., the ice rink in Gossensass transforms into a glittering surface for night owls. Enjoy this magical experience as you glide across the ice to music and sparkling lights.

Our fluffy llamas and alpacas are the best companions for hikes and at the same time balm for the soul. During this personal tour with wine connoisseur and host Walter, you'll gain fascinating insights into the history and traditions of winemaking in the Burggrafenamt region. As the name suggests, this visit is an experience for all the senses, with many varied highlights to explore at the Rochelehof adventure cellar.

Pinecone Angels & Christmas Stars From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, we’ll get creative and make charming pinecone angels and sparkling stars – for hanging or as decorative sticks. Let your imagination run wild and craft beautiful Christmas decorations!

Experience a cozy afternoon with Judit Pixner’s vocal class. The students are accompanied by Gernot Hofer and perform modern Christmas songs. A concert full of musical joy, holiday atmosphere, and shared moments – perfect for enjoying the Advent season.

Gernot Nagelschmied presents the well-known fairy tale of Mother Hulda as a lovingly staged hand puppet show. In about 40 minutes, young and old alike experience how diligence and kindness are rewarded, snow falls from the sky, and a wonderful fairy-tale world comes to life – full of humor, warmth, and enchantment.

A few days before Christmas, we forget the pre-holiday bustle and create a fairy-tale felt oasis of calm. We will learn to make beautiful Christmas decorations from local sheep’s wool using the dry-felting technique. While crafting, we will listen to winter and Christmas tales told orally from around the world.

Advent Magic at Hoferhof in Vellau December 13 & 20 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM Hoferhof, Vellau Cozy, handcrafted, and heartfelt: at the Advent Magic at Hoferhof, you’ll discover a small but charming artisan market filled with lovingly made creations and unique gift ideas. The Vellau Fire Department will take care of food and drinks, offering mulled wine, hot dogs, and hearty farmer’s toast. The Boden.kleid team and the Vellau Fire Department are looking forward to welcoming you!

Pre-Christmas Events in Terento.
We want to bring children, families and guests closer to rural culture and traditions on the topic of Christmas. The trail leads from the decorated village centre to the town hall with cookie baking for children, to the crib exhibition and to the Christmas market. Handicraft products are offered at different stalls on the playground. The Christmas experience continues along the trail lit by torchlights and candlelight with special light effects to the "Stockner Waldile" forest, where rural specialities are offered in traditional huts. Fairytales and stories for children are told around the campfire in front of a big Christmas crib and a petting zoo.

Born from the union of extraordinary voices and supported by over twenty years of artistic experience, the Gospel Voices Family brings to the stage a rich and engaging repertoire: from the great classics of traditional gospel to more modern and vibrant pieces, enhanced by original arrangements and a compelling stage presence.

A unique musical experience that connects cultures and generations, spreading the values of joy, community, and hope that have always defined gospel music.

Gospel Voices Family is an ensemble of African-American singers bringing the authentic experience of a Gospel service to life. The repertoire ranges from classic spirituals and work songs to Christmas songs and contemporary gospel with hip-hop influences.

Top-level soloists and a dynamic band create rich, unique choral harmonies. The group has performed at major festivals in Italy and internationally, including the Roma Gospel Festival, Stadio San Siro, Toscana and Lugano Gospel Festival, and in 36 countries worldwide.
