The parade starts at 5 pm at Hotel Jager Hans, leads to the village square, and is musically accompanied by the Jugendkapelle Passeier (youth band of Passeiertal Valley). Along the way, children can meet St. Nicholas in person and take a souvenir photo. Once at the village square, St. Nicholas and his angels hand out gift bags, and everyone sings together.
During the parade, food packages are collected for children in Moldova and Ukraine –
a wonderful opportunity to spread joy.
At the village square, the Catholic Family Association (KFS) of St. Martin/S. Martino provides warm drinks and sweet treats for a cozy gathering.

One of the most magical and eagerly awaited traditions of the Christmas season is the arrival of St. Nicholas. He is a wise and kind old man and brings light and warmth during this festive season. Today he awaits you, accompanied by his little angels, to give you a small gift. After the arrival of Saint Nicholas, there will also be the opportunity to enjoy a warming mulled wine or a hot tea.

The time has finally come again: the new ski season is about to start, and the Belpiano-Malga di San Valentino ski area will open its doors on December 6, 2025! In the chilly December air, the village glows in celebration of St. Nicholas's arrival. Families gather while children eagerly await the festivities. Our Christmas market, the Alpine Advent Sarntal Valley, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
