Bees are irreplaceable in our ecosystem and agriculture. Simply put: they are necessary for the survival of us humans. As the third most important "farm" animal (after cattle and pigs), bees pollinate 80% of our crops. Curious visitors can learn this and other interesting facts during a guided tour by an experienced beekeeper, including honey tasting, at the Birkenbrunn hotel. Costs: €07.00

With our guide Helmuth, we start from the village square and hike along the Gornegg path to the Unterfinserhof farm in Novale. Once there, we tour the farm and begin baking bread. Under expert guidance, we bake traditional bread and create our own creations. Afterwards, we enjoy a delicious lunch where we can taste our freshly baked bread. A day full of nature and culinary delights awaits us.

Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film, you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. Immerse yourself in the forest to experience it with all your senses and immerse yourself in the silence of the untouched forest.

Once we arrive at the "Lido" café by the lake, we give our animals a break for an hour, where you can treat yourself to a well-deserved ice cream or refreshment. During the hour's stay, each participant is free to use their time as they wish. On a hot summer's day, the lake invites you to swim, and if you want to satisfy your hunger at lunchtime, you can have a small snack in the "Lido" café or eat a delicious burger in Sea 23. For all honey lovers, the Beekeeping Museum is located in the immediate vicinity and is well worth a visit. In addition to the bee products on sale there, you shouldn't miss a tour of the museum. After the break, we make our way back to Linzbach with our tame stallions. Note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to convert this tour into a shorter trek. Alternatively, the small group can decide to pay a surcharge and do the tour in a smaller group. Registration required!

The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. A touching and funny cardboard puppet theater, performed by a postman Based on the children's book „Kuh Lieselotte“ Content The cow Lieselotte lives with chickens on a farm. The farmer is like a mother to her. But when the farmer starts inviting the postman Heiner for coffee, Lieselotte feels neglected and decides to take action. Lieselotte is actually very sweet, but now she hides to scare the postman. Poor Heiner is already having nightmares! Something has to change, he thinks. He packs a parcel for Lieselotte and lets her deliver the mail. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong – Lieselotte catches a cold. However, the farmer and Heiner take good care of her, and in the end, Lieselotte has two good friends. A special cardboard theater The performance takes place in a huge cardboard car, full of cardboard parcels, with cardboard scenery and puppets – a creative theater experience made of paper! In addition to an informative guided tour, the trekking also includes a tour of the farm where the animals are kept, insights into farm life and, last but not least, a "Marende" (afternoon snack) at the Waldharthof farm. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

During the guided tour with our apple expert you follow the storage, sorting, packaging and loading. Our apple expert will tell you all kinds of interesting facts about the ingredients, varieties and storage of the apple. The tour is only in German and Italian language! The tour of the cooperative is not barrier-free.

Who will find Fridolin's "treasure"? Every Thursday morning, different riddles tell you the way to the treasure. The kids and their family will be guided from clue to clue through Naturno and, if necessary, the adults will help with reading, writing or guessing. Together you will surely find the last clue and get the reward! The search can begin...Have fun on your adventure in Naturno!
