A snowshoe hike to discover the winter magic of Resciesa. In the company of a guide you will explore the Resciesa Alp in the middle of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). Once you arrive at the mountain station, start heading East by passing behind the hut. Although you'll be following a prepared track, it's possible to put on your snowshoes right away! After only a few minutes you'll reach the Cason hut. Keep wakling until you reach a crucifix, then continue uphill through the woods. Soon you'll reach the edge of the forest and the wide pastures of Resciesa will extend at your feet. You'll notice a little tower made of rocks nearby - it's called "Ciampanil de Livio" and was built by a bored shepherd while his sheep were grazing in the surrounding pastures. From here you'll be able to clearly make out the crest of Resciesa. You can reach it in little time by following a trail uphill. Once you get to the ridge, walk along it to the west (you should be able to make out a crucifix in the distance) and you'll eventually reach the highest part of the alp. Take your time to enjoy the 360 degree view from the top. To your left, you'll be able to admire the pastures above Villandro, to the North the mountains of Zillertal, to the South Alpe di Siusi with mount Sciliar and the Rosengarten, and to the East of course the unmistakable Odle mountains. This view alone is worth the excursion - it's one of the best in the valley. Once you've taken it all in, simply hike back in direction Resciesa hut - that is your last chance to enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to the middle station and getting back to Ortisei. “Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass of the Kronplatz Dolomites Region (Olang, Antholz Valley, Bruneck, Kiens, St. Vigil). All others pay an entry fee of €5.00.

You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent by a toboggan (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen. Traditionally, the ski instructors of the Badia Ski School organise the torchlight descent that takes place at nightfall on the La Crusc slope. Together with the guests, the ski instructors form a spectacular line of lights with their torches to wish everyone a Happy New Year. A cold, starry January is making its way into the heart of winter, and a magic can be felt in the air. Experience the tradition of the "Donacia" and the Three Kings at the Christmas market in Corvara, a Ladin tradition that is still preserved today! The Donacia, the Ladin Befana and an old witch, comes with a large broom to sweep away the old year and drive out evil spirits. For the children who have behaved well, she brings a sweet surprise! The Dumpling Pleasure Marathon – An event where active fun, nature and cuisine come together! Along the 50 km Val Casies cross-country trail, skiers can join at many access points and set their own pace. Walkers use the signposted winter hiking paths that lead past participating venues. From 11:00–16:00, hosts serve dumpling specialities – from hearty speck dumplings to beetroot and herb dumplings, through to dumplings with goulash; for dessert, sweet dumplings. It’s about the experience, not the race.

Moonlight Classic - cross country race by night Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm is a cross-country-skiing race on the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi / South Tyrol / Italy. The distances are 15 and 30 km,the classic diagonal style only is allowed. We promote young talents, support us! For every registration, the Moonlight Classic organisation committee donates one Euro, which will be doubled by a sponsor, to the South Tyrolean Sports Aid in order to support the young athlethes.

A theatre experience for young children inspired by Verdi's Falstaff, designed to introduce little ones to the language of the stage through live music, movement and symbolic play. At the centre of the stage, a soft, transformable ball becomes everything: a belly, an animal, a funny character. The ball, an object familiar to children, stimulates physical interaction, curiosity and imagination, in a journey that combines sensory experience and cognitive growth. A poetic and entertaining adventure to be enjoyed by the whole family!

The show, a reinterpretation of Sergei Prokofiev's famous musical fairy tale, combines acting, narration and music, with iconic sets by Emanuele Luzzat. Three bumbling actors try to tell the fairy tale... but without having studied it! Through comic gags, improvisation and the help of the audience, the children become an active part of the story, guided by the narrating voice of the “Great Narrator” – none other than Dario Fo, whose 100th birthday is being celebrated this year. In a light-hearted and playful atmosphere, the little ones discover the main instruments of the orchestra and their wonderful and unique language.

An exciting journey into the heart of theatre, combining music, storytelling and reflection to introduce students to the magic of the stage and the great themes of opera. Rigoletto intertwines Verdi's drama with the life of a travelling theatre company, transforming each performance into a collective ritual of emotions and truths. With few props, skilful lighting and intense performances, it reveals the boundary between reality and fiction, offering a glimpse into theatre work, stage machinery and behind the scenes. The viewing is accompanied by a reflection on the themes of the opera: the father-daughter relationship, sacrifice for love, disguise, and the desire for transformation. A reading of the female role is also central, to educate students in respect and empathy. An interdisciplinary experience designed to stimulate curiosity and critical thinking.

Local and international artists transform fountains and cultural-historical treasures into an open-air gallery with their creative ideas. Reflections on ecological, economic and social aspects related to water and light are the basis of the artistic works. Under the motto "Water is life - light is art", an art trail is being created in Brixen's old town. The Brixen Water Light Festival takes place every two years in May. The idea for the festival was born in 2015 after the premiere of the light and music show at the Hofburg in Brixen. The first edition of the festival was held in May 2017. Art, light and water and a head full of dreams and thoughts. Being free and letting oneself fall, floating on the surface of the water, submerging, and carrying the light within. Being critical and playful, a rollercoaster of emotions. Screaming, standing still, having fun, seeing the world. And figure it out?

Asfaltart turns 20 years old! 20 years full of passion, laughter, poetry and an incredible cultural mix! For three days there will be almost 200 shows, including concerts, circus performances, walking acts and clown acts, where many artistic groups with artists from all over the world will turn the popular city of Merano upside down. They will take visitors' breath away with acrobatics, dance, circus arts and clowning. The town center then turns into an open-air stage for clowns, trapeze artists, musicians and fire breathers. The 2024 festival comprises a handicraft market and a gastronomy stall on the Passer Promenade.
