Lungiarù is a small village nestled in the Dolomites, a hidden gem where ancient traditions are perpetuated from generation to generation, keeping a thousand-year-old culture alive. The symbol of this rich history is the Valle dei Mulini, a path that follows the course of a stream, whose power is harnessed by ancient mills. A market is held at the nearby Lüch de Vanc farm and an old mill in the valley is back in operation, just as it was over a hundred years ago. The mill day is fun for everyone, with horse riding, children's activities and walks, offering a fantastic Thursday for the whole family. You can also discover how a watermill works and watch bread being made according to the traditional Ladin method.

The music bands of the valley have maintained our valuable tradition for decades. They play an important role in the social life of the village and give many young people the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. On this evening, you will hear the melodies of the music band from La Villa. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the events hall. Discover the wonders of the forest with biologist and herbalist Carolin. Children learn exciting facts about trees and forest dwellers through play and research. Together they collect the resin from the trees and use it to make a traditional healing ointment, a much-appreciated household remedy in South Tyrol, in the garden of Castle Welsperg. Guided walking-tour to Kneipp at the waterfall of Barbian. The Selva band is a milestone in the cultural life of Val Gardena, their performances such as concerts, parades and religious processions are highly appreciated. In addition to traditional marches and classical pieces, the repertoire includes more and more original compositions for wind orchestra and modern pieces by contemporary composers. During these 90 years of activity, the Selva band has participated in numerous competitions and has always achieved extremely positive results. Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. In the climbing hall, children can learn the basics of using ropes and carabiners in a playful way on a 20-metre high climbing wall. The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens.
