The South Tyrolean Salon Orchestra is hosting a festive Christmas concert to round off the holiday season. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme of classical and Christmas melodies.

A buffet will be served during the interval and is included in the ticket price.

A walk at nightfall takes you along the idyllic landscape of the valley
of Marebbe. The flickering light of the torches will reveal one suggestion after another, creating shadows that animate the silent meadows and woods of the Dolomites with life. To warm up, at the end of the excursion we invite you to enjoy a drink all together.

On December 30th, 2025 at 9:00 PM, the traditional torchlight hike will take place in Anterivo. In the clear winter air, we will follow the warm glow of the torches and explore the nighttime landscape in an enchanting atmosphere. A special experience that brings together tranquility, nature, and a sense of community – perfect for welcoming the new year.

The fauna of the Dolomites includes many types of known and easily sighted animals, such as squirrels and deers, but includes as many, difficult to see and hear, especially in the world of birds of prey. After an introduction in the Nature Park House Visitor Center (approx. 50 min., only in Italian!), we will drive to the Owls Park, where Mario will show and tell us the peculiarities of his feathered friends.

Traditionally, the ski instructors of the Badia Ski School organise the torchlight descent that takes place at nightfall on the La Crusc slope.
Together with the guests, the ski instructors form a spectacular line of lights with their torches to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
On the arrival, you can enjoy a hot cup of tea or mulled wine accompanied by DJ music.

The golden autumn has given up its colorful place and left the stage to winter for the most contemplative time of the year. With a promising tone, lights and angels, Christmas trees and a small Christmas market announce the holiday season in Kaltern, which makes the most of its smaller size with nothing lacking. A contemplative village stroll if desired, enjoying wine and fine treats in festive garb, embedded in culinary traditions with both old customs and new practices that will join them. Celebrate the New Year in a unique way at the traditional torchlight descent of the Carezza Ski School. On December 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the ski instructors of the Carezza Ski School will start at the Paolina Lift in Karersee | Carezza for an impressive torchlight descent, lighting up the evening with festive glow. After the descent, enjoy tea and mulled wine. Following the descent: Party at Golf.food and drinks until 10:00 PM with music, great vibes, and refreshing drinks.

Fun and entertainment for children. Christmas is a time full of excitement, especially for children. That's why Merano Christmas has created a place for their imagination and creativity. On the Upper Passer Promenade (near the Post Bridge), you will find Goldie's House, the mascot of Merano Christmas, which welcomes its little guests aged 4 and up during the weekends and Christmas holidays. A Year-End Filled with Music and Magic

To say farewell to 2025 in a truly special way, music enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in a unique soundscape: the traditional classical piano concert held in the enchanting setting of the Capuchin Church in Lana. From 5:30 to 6:30 PM, pianist Enzo Weber will lead the audience on an emotional musical journey, surrounded by the warmth and glow of hundreds of flickering candles. A serene and magical atmosphere that promises to make the evening truly unforgettable.

This year Prags / Braies celebrates the turn of the year again directly on the village square in Schmieden! On New Year’s Eve, Victory Square in Bolzano will transform into a large open-air stage filled with light, music, and celebration. Starting at 9:00 PM, guests will be welcomed into a festive and vibrant atmosphere marking the official beginning of the evening. The night opens with a live concert by the Tribue Band, guiding the audience on a musical journey through the greatest hits from the 1960s to today. An energetic and engaging start designed to warm up the square and set the tone for a night full of excitement.

Around 10:30 PM, the celebration continues with a captivating street-performance show: acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers, and various performers will entertain the crowd with a dynamic and playful spectacle suitable for all ages.

As midnight approaches, DJ Nicola Imperiale will take over the stage from 11:15 PM, building energy and rhythm as the New Year draws near. The voice of Aryfashion will add charisma and animation, interacting with the audience and boosting the festive atmosphere.

Just minutes before midnight, the square will be enveloped in striking visual effects projected onto the large LED wall. The collective countdown will lead into a shared midnight toast, welcoming the arrival of 2026 together.

From midnight until 2:00 AM, the party continues with an energetic back-to-back DJ set by Luca Venus and Nicola Imperiale, keeping the dance floor alive with nonstop music—an ideal way to begin the new year.

Throughout the night, lighting effects, scenic visuals, and immersive atmospheres will enhance the experience, while beverage and snack stations will be available to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all attendees.

ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES! Baking together traditional bread in a wood-burning oven is fun and not difficult. The farmers demonstrate step by step how to mix all ingredients to form a dough. People are invited to lend a hand, and while the dough rises, they may discover the farm, the garden and the animals such as cows, calves, pigs and rabbits. Finally, the loaves will be baked in a wood-burning oven and, afterwards, tasted together. An interesting and exciting experience for the whole family! Welcome the new year with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve torchlit procession! This special evening goes beyond the traditional descent by the ski instructors from the Corvara Ski School. They’ll be joined by the Carabinieri, creating a truly impressive scene. A host will guide the event, with live music from a DJ to keep the energy high. The highlight of the celebration will be the illumination of the majestic Sassongher, followed by a spectacular laser show. Colorful laser beams will create shapes and light effects, filling the night with a magical, immersive atmosphere. A perfect way to start the new year! During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

The 120 ski and snowboard instructors of the Ski School Selva pass on their knowledge and their enthusiasm and passion for skiing. Furthermore they show you the best technique for a safe driving style. To the team belong former world cup athletes, coaches, cross country and freestyle instructors and coaches who are specialized in children and people with disabilities.

On this family walk you will discover all the tricks, which the animals in the Nature Park
have developed to survive during the cold season. With help from a ranger, children and
parents will learn together how to interpret animal tracks in the forest. After the adven-
ture in the snow, you can warm up with a good hot tea in the Visitor center.

CALDERA | In the Shadow of the Supervolcano

A Journey Through Deep Time

280 million years ago, a mighty supervolcano towered over what is now the heart of the Trentino-South Tyrol region. Its dramatic eruptions left behind vast porphyry deposits—still visible today as silent witnesses to its fiery past. Between these layers, long periods of calm allowed plants and animals to settle and thrive. Some of them left behind remarkable traces.
This special exhibition brings that ancient world back to life through fossils, lifelike animal models, and an immersive volcano simulation.

Presented in collaboration with the South Tyrol Museum of Natural Sciences. Fossils on loan from the Provincial Office for Archaeology, Bolzano.

At the Christmas workshop we make socks for the Befana and much more. The participation is free of charge, no registration needed.

The cold season invites you to spend time together in an atmospheric setting.

At the winter feast in Völs am Schlern, you can expect a colourful gathering of local clubs. Each club will perform a lovingly arranged serenade and spoil you with treats. Musical sounds provide the perfect backdrop and create a cosy winter atmosphere that invites you to linger. Of course, your physical well-being is also well taken care of.

The ELKI is open from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm!

On the full moon nights, the trails and the ski rental of the Cross-country ski centre Monte Pana will be open for you. The admission is free. The cross-country tracks are 30 km long, you can choose between 5 tracks of various levels of difficulty.
