Carriage ride with "Pferdemayer" through vineyards and apple fields around Tramin. Stop in a local winery, in a distillery with tastings and Coffee stop. Duration 90 minutes. On hot summer days the tour starts at 5 pm. Reservation Tourist office Tramin the day before. Minimum of 8 persons and maximum of 12 persons. Individual guides on request.

The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. Not only the Knottnkino in Vöran offers spectacular views. Our guides take you to the lesser-known but still beautiful viewpoints, the so-called 'Beimstein Knott' and 'Timpfler Knott'. Both are part of the geologically interesting 'red rocks' of Vöran. On the way, you will learn about the visible mountain peaks and the surrounding villages. With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. At the end of the tour we walk down towards Ponte Gardena and from there take the public bus to Laion. Height difference in ascent: 650 m Height difference in descent: 190 m Distance: 10 km

On the way back to earlier times, the history of the farm life, we hike from the Larchhof to Flading.

Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. Pleasure moments on the square: we enjoy Andrian chestnuts. Chestnuts from the Schlosspichl chestnut grove are roasted over an open fire. This is accompanied by must, apple juice and the wines of the Andrian Winery and sweet delicacies.

Guided bike tour from Termeno to Lake Caldaro with a professional bike guide. You make a stop at a farmhouse and taste some homemade products, enjoy a Capuccino or an icecream near the lake and a glass of wine in the middle of a vineyard presented by a farmer. Reservation within 11.30 am at the tourist offic of Tramin. Helmet obbligation!

The Stelvio National Park is a high mountain park. During a guided tour of the naturatrafoi Visitor Centre, you can immerse yourself directly in the extreme climatic conditions of high altitudes. What tricks do the animals and plants use to survive the freezing nights, the nine months of winter temperatures, the strong sunlight and also the landslides? Kids festival organised by the Haflinger Horse Breeding Association in Oberplanitzing. Traditional Tyrolean specialities and roasted chestnuts are served.

"Autumn festival at the old vine of Margreid" - the planting date 1601 is carved in stone. The village festival is organised by the old men's football club. Typical chestnuts, goulash with "Plent", spinach dumplings, Strauben and other delicacies are served. Musical entertainment is also provided. A Bohemian band will be playing, followed by a DJ with party music.

The hiking guide accompanies you on this easy circular hike through mountain pine fields to the show distillery at the Marzuner Schupfe. Here you will get an interesting insight into the process of distilling mountain pine into essential oil. For the lunch break we will alternately visit an alpine hut. Experience the “Almabtrieb” in Terento! The ceremonial driving of cattle and sheep from the green pastures back to their home farms and warm barns is a long-standing tradition in Terento. For over 100 cows, calves and sheep this event marks the end of their stay in altitude where they enjoyed the fresh mountain air, tasty grass and cool nights. The animals are adorned with bells, wreaths, fresh flowers and ornate whetstone holders and they are driven down the valley by their herders. Plünderfuhren (procession floats), Goaslkrocha (whip crackers), Schuhplattlern (folk dancers) und and musical entertainment.

Sheep’s wool felt of Villnösser Brillenschaf sheep for children in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park Visitor Center. As part of the Lamb Weeks of the "Villnösser Brillenschaf", an afternoon of handicrafts is organised. For children from 6 to 12 years. Free of charge, but registration required by 6 pm the day before.

This unique event not only provides insights into the diversity of our domesticated animals, but also presents a rich selection of products and specialties related to the theme of sheep. Handcraft enthusiasts will be delighted by a market featuring 35 exhibitors offering an enchanting array of wool products. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to get to know and explore the different sheep breeds of South Tyrol at an exhibition.

With the right know-how and the right equipment, the risk of an accident can be reduced or avoided - the certified guides from SAAC show you on the bike what is important in terms of accident prevention. Both theoretically and practically, the participants are taught the most important safety aspects, a correct riding technique and the right choice of material and equipment. Therefore, on 13/07 and 14/07/2024, and on 12/10 and 13/10/2024, every bike-interested person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge and to refine his technique.  A "special edition" of the SAAC Bike Camp will take place too on Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, namely the "Girlpower Bike Camp", especially for women. Anyone who is at least 14 years old and wants to expand and force his bike awareness can participate!

The festival will begin at 11 a.m. at the elementary school of Avigna. There will be a lots of tasty local delicacies with roasted chestnuts.
