Knight Friedrich, the once most terrifying ghost of all castles and palaces, is apparently up to his tricks again in his home castle. However, he is getting on in years and has forgotten how to haunt properly. The task now is to track down the ghost and teach him how to "spook" again. Will the children succeed? But the children aged between 7 and 10 will experience a lot more at Prösels Castle. Under the supervision of professional guides, they will eat dinner together at the big knights' table, play medieval games, read from the big book of fairy tales and sleep in the knights' hall. After breakfast, the children will be collected by their parents. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). From the top station, take trail no. 35, lined with Swiss stone pines and delicate alpine flowers, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen. The folk dance group “Grupa Balarins de Gherdëina Urtijëi” was founded in 1963 and has been active without interruption since then. The group dances traditional folk dances based on a long tradition thereunder typical dances for thanksgiving, dances having the intent to attract the other gender and also typical “Schuhplattler”. The “Schuhplattler” dances are demonstrated by male dancers only. All dancers are wearing the “Grödner-Tracht” (traditional costume) which is known as one of the most beautiful and most precious of the alpine area. Due to numerous performances in our country as well as abroad and on TV, the group is very well known far beyond South Tyrol.

Summer night concert with the music band Villanders, accompanied by the folk dance group Villanders. Guests of the member of the tourist association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns, Villanders can expect a holiday lottery with the raffle of some material prizes, as well as a voucher for a liqueur or schnapps of the farm distillery Pschnicker in Villanders. In addition, farm products from Tschotthof will be presented and available for sale. Food and drink with sweet Villanderer Krapfen, Speck and Kaminwurzen is well provided.

When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop with the Nature Park Ranger the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. - Founded in 1978, the Puez-Geisler / Puez-Odle Nature Park extends to Würzjoch / Passo delle Erbe in the north, Grödner Joch / Passo Gardena in the south, Gadertal / Val Badia valley (Kampill, Untermoj / Longiarü, Antermöia) in the east and Villnößtal / Val di Funes and Grödntal / Val Gardena in the west. The northern portion of the park encompasses Aferer / Odle di Eores, Villnösser Geisler / Odle di Funes and Peitlerkofel / Sas da Pütia, while the southern portion encompasses the highlands of Gherdenacia, Sassongher, Puez (including Langental / Vallunga) and the Cir mountains. The park was enlarged in 1999 and now extends over an area of around 10,722 hectares belonging to the villages of Abtei / Badia, Corvara, Villnöss / Funes, St.Martin in Thurn / S. Martino in Badia, St.Ulrich / Ortisei, St. Christina / S. Cristina in Gröden and Wolkenstein in Gröden / Selva di Gardena. Apart from Villnösstal / Val di Funes, all of the park’s other municipalities are Ladin communities: St. Christina/Santa Crestina, Wolkenstein/Sëlva, Abtei/Badia and Corvara in the south, and St. Martin in Thurn/San Martin de Tor in the east. The Puez-Geisler / Puez-Odle Nature Park, which counts as a Dolomites site hut, contains all of the rock types, sediment strata and weathering forms that are characteristic of the Dolomites. The park’s karstic highlands, majestic rock faces, rolling Alpine pastures set off against bizarre looking backdrops of cleft mountains, valleys formed by extreme erosion, and dark coniferous forests comprise a multifarious landscape that is rarely found in such a small area.

Arrival by bus to St.Peter - Villnöss. Here we follow the marker no. 30 on the right and the indication St. Jakob and hike on the narrow asphalt road with the Stations of the Cross slightly ascending to the little church St. Jakob (1,280 m). We continue to follow the road through meadows and woods and reach the Jochhöfe, already mentioned in 1238, which form a small hamlet. One of them is the Jausenstation Moar (1,320 m), where we treat ourselves to a short rest. On the road below the Moar (no. 12) we hike down to the Zinnerhof, on the upper dirt road westward over to the forest and on the marked trail through steep forest down to the wide trail no. 11, on which we reach Teis (962 m) In Teis we visit the mineral museum.
