Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After the tour of the farm, it’s time to get hands-on. Under Anna-Maria’s guidance, you’ll prepare different types of dumplings using products from the farm and experience a true piece of South Tyrolean culinary tradition. At the end, the homemade specialties are enjoyed together – and you can take the recipes home with you.

Experience a truly unforgettable evening on snow: More than 200 ski and snowboard instructors from the Ski Schools Selva, Santa Cristina and Ortisei take the stage with a spectacular ski show full of action, emotion and perfectly synchronized performances. With dynamic formations, impressive light effects, music and acrobatic elements, the Val Gardena ski schools showcase their passion, skill and long-standing tradition in one breathtaking performance. The team includes former World Cup athletes, professional coaches, freestyle and cross-country specialists, as well as instructors dedicated to teaching children and people with disabilities.

The Dumpling Pleasure Marathon – An event where active fun, nature and cuisine come together! Along the 50 km Val Casies cross-country trail, skiers can join at many access points and set their own pace. Walkers use the signposted winter hiking paths that lead past participating venues. From 11:00–16:00, hosts serve dumpling specialities – from hearty speck dumplings to beetroot and herb dumplings, through to dumplings with goulash; for dessert, sweet dumplings. It’s about the experience, not the race.

On January 27, 2026, at 9:48 a.m. the Olympic torch relay will arrive in Dobbiaco and pass through our town on its journey to the Winter Games. This extraordinary event will bring the Olympic spirit directly to our community and offer all residents and guests the opportunity to be part of a historic moment. Along the route, the flame will be ceremoniously accompanied by torchbearers, and Dobbiaco will honor this special day with festive moments and a warm welcome for the participating athletes. We look forward to celebrating this symbol of peace, fairness, and international solidarity together.

In the evening we set off for a special experience in the mountains. We enjoy the tranquility of the atmosphere and hike togheter on the Alpe di Siusi and experience the magic of the full moon, while I am going to tell you interesting stories about the area. To conclude our hike we stop for dinner at the Gostner hut.

Moonlight Classic - cross country race by night Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm is a cross-country-skiing race on the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi / South Tyrol / Italy. The distances are 15 and 30 km,the classic diagonal style only is allowed. We promote young talents, support us! For every registration, the Moonlight Classic organisation committee donates one Euro, which will be doubled by a sponsor, to the South Tyrolean Sports Aid in order to support the young athlethes.

On the Long Saturdays, experience tobogganing fun in a different way: For all those who can't get enough of winter sports, the cable car runs even longer on these days! The cable car runs from 08:30 to 16:30 and from 17:00 to 19:00, all huts are also open for you. Dinner in the huts only for guests with reservation!

Carnival in Colfosco: between colours, music and fun on the slopes. Come and taste the delicacies of the carnival season, such as the delicious "Faschingskrapfen", soft, fluffy donuts filled with apricot jam or cream, typical for Carnival. There's plenty of fun for the little ones with clowns and face painting. Music with lively rhythms accompanies the party.

Colourful costumes, children's entertainment, face-painting and carnival doughnuts: all this awaits you at the carnival party in Badia. You are invited to show off your best costumes and spend fun hours with the whole family and friends.

Juebia Grassa The Carnival parade starts at 3 p.m. from Hotel Madonna and passes through the entire pedestrian zone to the Parish church square, where prizes will be awarded to the most beautiful masks. At 7:30 p.m. - Live music in the Youth Centre "Circolo". At 9:00 p.m. - Carnival Ski Show with the Skischool Saslong.

Sonja will provide you with information about the South Tyrolean Alpine apple, variety overview, cultivation methods, field work, processing, and marketing. You can expect a tasting of apples and apple juice from a local producer, along with a short walk through nearby orchards. Duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Every 2 years the Parade on Carnival Saturday takes place in the center of Silandro. The pedestrian area is transformed into a big carnival Party.

A theatre experience for young children inspired by Verdi's Falstaff, designed to introduce little ones to the language of the stage through live music, movement and symbolic play. At the centre of the stage, a soft, transformable ball becomes everything: a belly, an animal, a funny character. The ball, an object familiar to children, stimulates physical interaction, curiosity and imagination, in a journey that combines sensory experience and cognitive growth. A poetic and entertaining adventure to be enjoyed by the whole family!

On Shrove Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Tramin will once again shine in the colorful splendor of the Children’s Egetmann Parade – one of the oldest and most fascinating carnival traditions in the Alpine region, dedicated specifically to the young people of Tramin in even-numbered years. This parade is a miniature version of the grand Egetmann Parade and offers a unique glimpse into the traditional carnival season. The children take on the roles of the adults: trumpeters, Ausschnöller, Ausmesser, and Wegmacher lead the procession, followed by the Schnappvieher and the magnificent wedding carriages of Egetmann-Hansl. Other colorful floats, including those of the bakery, the smithy, and the famous Altweibermühle, complete the vibrant spectacle. A special highlight of this parade is that girls are allowed to participate, making it even more diverse and lively. In contrast, in the adult Egetmann Parade, women are not permitted to join. This rule is rooted in a long-standing historical tradition.

The colourful hustle and bustle during the Carnival season is an important event for Ortisei. This year, on 17th of february a “Carnival skiing” takes place on the Palmer and Furdenan ski slopes. Masked skiers will get delicious Loacker-biscuits. The nicest masks will be awarded!

Carnival party on the slope: costume parade open to everybody with award for the best Carnival Outfit. Ski & acrobatic show with the Pirates Freestyle Team and DJ.
