Curated by Frida Carazzato In collaboration with the Fondazione Bonotto and Patrizio Peterlini’s curatorial advice Exhibition and graphic design: SS16 Studio and AndreaTabocchiniArchitecture Press preview: 11.04.2025, 11:00 am Opening: 11.04.2025, 7:00 pm Museion Passage and Piccolo Museion - Cubo Garutti Museion continues to research and explore its own collection by presenting You and the Night and the Music – Francesco Conz Editions from the Museion Collection, an exhibition dedicated to art editions, especially those of Francesco Conz, one of the key figures in the promotion and artistic production of international neo-avant-gardes in Italy. Curated by Frida Carazzato with the collaboration of the Fondazione Bonotto, through the curatorial advice of Patrizio Peterlini, the exhibition uses the museum collection to explore the cultural legacy and artistic vision of Francesco Conz. This important figure, who worked with Fluxus, Visual Poetry and Concrete Poetry artists, played a decisive role in disseminating these artistic practices in Italy and abroad. The title of the exhibition is taken from a work by Gerhard Rühm, a visual artist, musician, poet and co-founder of the Wiener Gruppe, and one of the first artists with whom Francesco Conz began producing large-format editions. The “You and the Night and the Music” title stimulates reflections on the relationship between art, time and the links between artists, collectors and museum institutions. The conjunction “and” in the artwork becomes, in the title of the exhibition, a metaphor for both the network of cultural connections that has given rise to one of the main hubs in the Museion collection and the figure of Conz, whose passion bound together artistic and human experiences. A number of collectors and art critics, in fact, have played a fundamental role in the history of the museum collection. People like Paolo Della Grazia, who donated his collection to the museum in 2020, Luigi Bonotto, Henry Martin and many others, have helped to create an artistic heritage that is now an essential reference point for the study of neo-avant-gardes. Thanks to their activities, Museion has been able to enrich its collection with a body of works that bears witness to the value of publishing and screenprint production as a means of disseminating contemporary art. The exhibition is located in the central area of Museion Passage, a space designed to host dynamic installations that are open to the public. The central and corner sections – the latter can be visited until November 16 2025 – present a selection of screenprints on canvas produced by Conz and designed to be easy to transport and exhibit in various contexts. These works interact through videos, artists’ multiples and other editions to create an experience that reflects on the art of publishing both as an artistic tool and as an effective space of cross-genre exchange, in harmony with the Fluxus spirit.

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. Additional tours: in August also on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants: minimum 4 and maximum 20 people Registration deadline: one day before by 5:00 p.m.

Scenes of peaceful life of shepherds and grazing animals, of hard work in adverse weather and in mostly uncomfortable areas: the cultural history of pastoralism moves between these two poles. When people began to settle in the Alps, bringing their domestic animals with them, the post-glacial landscape began to change. The exhibition illustrates the steps of this development up to today's debate about grazing animals and their predators. Sculptures, models, games, interviews and videos on the work of shepherds together with their dogs provide insights into the cultural practice of pastoralism and the importance of shepherds, who not only protect the flock from wolves. Shepherding can in fact play a decisive role on the environment, biodiversity, animal welfare, climate and human nutrition.

After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a collector. If you are looking for an exciting human-animal-nature-experience on the mountain, the Pirchhof-Lamas from Birchberg are just right for you. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. Afterwards we hike back to the farm in a relaxed way. There, a skill course awaits you, which you will master with your animal hiking partner. At the end you will receive your very own "llama or alpaca guide certificate" as a reward. Ideal for families with children from 3 years After the tour you have the possibility to stop at the Brandhof - an idyllically located farm tavern with its own cheese dairy, very close to the Pirchhof llamas. The tour begins in the grain store of Steinhaus, the former warehouse of the mining industry. Afterwards, our guides will lead you through the historic centre of Steinhaus, a unique sight in South Tyrol that was created thanks to the mining industry. The striking red houses, such as the factor house, the Gassegg residence and the church Maria Loreto, as well as the smelting hut are explained. A walk through the centuries old history of the "Ahrner Handel".

With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. More than 60 vintage tractors, including 40 "Porsche-Diesel" tractors and 5 Porsche-Diesel Master tractors from various years of construction, can be viewed in the tractor museum. From Naturno you cycle comfortably along the Adige cycle path to Merano. From the Thermenplatz square, head eastwards through the Elisabeth Park into the Passeier Valley. Mostly flat, with a slight incline, you can enjoy the marvellous landscape along the Passeier cycle path (19 km). The refreshing air of the Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path to St. Leonhard. Every Tuesday a shuttle takes you to the Schartegg car park on the Tscharser Nörderberg mountain. There is the starting point for wonderful hikes to the different alpine pastures.
