The traditional Krampus run in Welschnofen | Nova Levante has been an integral part of the event culture in the Eggental valley for many years. On December 5, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m., the Schuffatuifl Welschnofen will organize a small yet impressive parade for young and old alike. Along the route between the pharmacy and the church square, wild figures will make their appearance to drive away evil spirits and everything that takes away the festive spirit of the Christmas season.

Krampus and St. Nicholas parade in the village square of Kurtatsch, followed by drinks at the mulled wine stand run by the Kurtatsch volunteer fire brigade.

At 2 p.m., wake up Krampus, at 3 p.m., children's parade with St. Nicholas, at 4 p.m., house visits, from 9.30 p.m., parade with after-show party The Schleiser Krampus are looking forward to seeing you!

When night falls on 5 December, the Krampus once again roam the dark streets of Margreid according to tradition, rattling their chains, ringing their bells and gathering for a joint parade at 7 p.m. in the historic village centre.
After the devilish revelry, the Klommtuifl Margreid invite you to the big Krampus party at the NME wine cooperative.

Krampus Day in Glurns begins with the ringing of bells at 3 p.m. on the festival grounds. At 6 p.m., there will be a St. Nicholas parade followed by an after-show party on the festival grounds. Live music with the Stadtlrocker and DJ Honz. Drinks will be served from 3 p.m. exclusively on the festival grounds. This year, for the first time, traditional masks as they were last worn around 1950 will be presented.

The golden autumn has given up its colorful place and left the stage to winter for the most contemplative time of the year. With a promising tone, lights and angels, Christmas trees and a small Christmas market announce the holiday season in Kaltern, which makes the most of its smaller size with nothing lacking. A contemplative village stroll if desired, enjoying wine and fine treats in festive garb, embedded in culinary traditions with both old customs and new practices that will join them. A celebration of joy, sharing, and community, surrounded by music and hospitality in the heart of Kaltern.

At 2:30 pm, a reflective service in honor of St. Nicholas will take place in the church.
Afterwards, we’ll continue celebrating together at Raiffeisen Square: the brass ensemble of the music band Andreas Hofer St. Leonhard will provide festive Christmas tunes.
St. Nicholas will arrive in a beautifully decorated carriage with his angels – bringing lovingly prepared gift bags for all the children.

It Takes Two – Video Works from the Dalle Nogare Collection: Frank Hesse – 05.12.2025

On Friday, December 5, the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation presents the second edition of It Takes Two, a series of video works from the private collection of Antonio Dalle Nogare, curated by Eva Brioschi.

Opening: December 5 at 7:00 PM

The title is an ironic reminder that the realization of an artwork requires not only the work of the artist but also that of the viewer. It is the viewer who completes the creative journey initiated by the artist through their own perception. In the darkness of a video room, the relationship between artist and viewer becomes even closer: like in a confessional of the mind, one surrenders to the images, loses the sense of space and time, and embraces the possibility of a multisensory transmission and an unexpected epiphany.

At each opening evening, the Foundation’s Artistic Director, Eva Brioschi, offers a moment of in-depth analysis and participatory reading of the exhibited work, in dialogue with the artist and with professionals from the art world.

The second event of It Takes Two is dedicated to Frank Hesse, an artist, designer, and yoga teacher based in Zurich, who presents a video filmed in 2006: Florence: From St. Croce to the Institute of Art History.

Following the screening, Frank Hesse will engage in a dialogue with Eva Brioschi and Nasim Weiler, project manager at Stadtkuratorin Hamburg, whose research focuses on conceptual art and performative practices, to explore the themes and processes at the foundation of this video work.

I go around from house to house and am known as...” On December 5 from 5 pm, we will parade together with St. Nicholas from the "Thurner" parking space to the square in front of the middle school. There, the local theater organization Jenesien offers drinks and hot dogs.

For more than half a century, the "Nikolauskommitee Schlanders" has been introducing the old South Tyrolean tradition of St. Nicholas parade. Passing the retirement home and the hospital, St. Nicholas runs with his carriage through the center to the Plawennpark, where the celebration ends. The arrival of St Nicholas takes on a special charm among children and is part of our traditions during the Christmas season. Our children await St Nicholas who will bring them a sweet surprise.

On December 5th, as soon as it gets dark, St. Nicholas accompanied by his angels and his servant Ruprecht crosses the streets of the village and enters the homes of children, bringing them gifts, praising them or reproaching them if necessary. St. Nicholas is also accompanied by several devils (Krampus), but they do not have permission to enter the house and will wait out side the door. in Ortisei from 4:00 pm in the Pedestrian Zone in S. Workshops and entertainment for children. Christmas is an exciting time for children, and the Merano Christmas Markets have reserved a space for them dedicated to imagination and creativity.

On December 5th, 2025, the Höllenschlucht Krampus in Lana invites you to the traditional Krampus parade. Already in the morning, the Krampuses will march through Lana, and the main parade will start at 5 PM from the parking lot of Pizzeria Alpen, proceeding with angels, Knecht Ruprecht, and Saint Nicholas to Oberlana. From 10 AM, drinks will be served at the Raiffeisenhaus, followed by an after-show party. A varied festive day celebrating the traditional Krampus custom.

Museion Passage and Piccolo Museion - Cubo Garutti

Museion continues to research and explore its own collection by presenting You and the Night and the Music – Francesco Conz Editions from the Museion Collection, an exhibition dedicated to art editions, especially those of Francesco Conz, one of the key figures in the promotion and artistic production of international neo-avant-gardes in Italy.

Curated by Frida Carazzato with the collaboration of the Fondazione Bonotto, through the curatorial advice of Patrizio Peterlini, the exhibition uses the museum collection to explore the cultural legacy and artistic vision of Francesco Conz. This important figure, who worked with Fluxus, Visual Poetry and Concrete Poetry artists, played a decisive role in disseminating these artistic practices in Italy and abroad.

The title of the exhibition is taken from a work by Gerhard Rühm, a visual artist, musician, poet and co-founder of the Wiener Gruppe, and one of the first artists with whom Francesco Conz began producing large-format editions.

The “You and the Night and the Music” title stimulates reflections on the relationship between art, time and the links between artists, collectors and museum institutions. The conjunction “and” in the artwork becomes, in the title of the exhibition, a metaphor for both the network of cultural connections that has given rise to one of the main hubs in the Museion collection and the figure of Conz, whose passion bound together artistic and human experiences.

A number of collectors and art critics, in fact, have played a fundamental role in the history of the museum collection. People like Paolo Della Grazia, who donated his collection to the museum in 2020, Luigi Bonotto, Henry Martin and many others, have helped to create an artistic heritage that is now an essential reference point for the study of neo-avant-gardes. Thanks to their activities, Museion has been able to enrich its collection with a body of works that bears witness to the value of publishing and screenprint production as a means of disseminating contemporary art.

The exhibition is located in the central area of Museion Passage, a space designed to host dynamic installations that are open to the public. These works interact through videos, artists’ multiples and other editions to create an experience that reflects on the art of publishing both as an artistic tool and as an effective space of cross-genre exchange, in harmony with the Fluxus spirit.

The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben. On Saturdays and Sundays: Horse-drawn carriage rides from Klobenstein station to the village centre, introductory pony riding, and llama and pony walks in Oberbozen. The youngest artists are also part of the celebration: pupils from the local primary school lovingly decorate the stations along the Ritten Railway line with festive creations. “Hark, what comes from out the woods so near?
