Europe’s largest monastery complex in Tirol/Tirolo. Founded in 1142 by the Bishop of Brixen/Bressanone at the intersection of two important routes - the Brenner and the route to the Pustertal valley - the Augustinian Neustift Canons Regular Monastery was recognized, among other things, as a hospice and rest area for pilgrims. Today the Monastery makes a name for itself as a place of agriculture, culture and education. From the monastery winery to the herb garden, from the electricity plant to the educational center, several businesses are united in the monastery. The Augustinian Neustift Canons Regular Monastery in Vahrn/Varna is the largest Monastery complex in Tirol/Tirolo. The Monastery has an holistic conception and was independent and versatile from its very foundation. A walk through the Monastery complex will let you understand its size and importance as a former important cultural and economic hub of the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley. The first thing that will catch your eye are the architectural elements: Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. With the Engelsburg, the late Baroque collegiate church, the Gothic cloister, the miracle fountain, the library’s unique manuscripts and the historic Pinakothek, the Augustinian Neustift Canons Regular Monastery is one of the most remarkable sights of the Eisacktal valley.

We start at 8 am with our fluffy animals at the Bacherhof farm in Mölten and hike on trail no. 13 away from the noise and hustle and bustle through the forest to the Schlaneiderhof bistro. There we enjoy a regional breakfast. Afterwards we return to the Bacherhof.

Since its opening, the ice rink in the centre of Schenna has enjoyed great popularity. Anyone who wants to take to the ice is in exactly the right place in Schenna. The 12x30 metre artificial ice rink offers locals and guests the chance to do their laps on the shiny surface right in the village centre. Skates and helmets can be rented. Accompanied by the silvery light of the moon and the twinkling of the stars, we will walk with torches through the picturesque landscape, revealing the romantic side of this small village. Thanks to an innovative system, you can start off in complete tranquility and then descend steeply through woods and meadows at a speed of up to 100 km/h. The distance covered is a good 1.5 km with an altitude difference of 409 meters. An adrenaline experience that will surprise you!

Our fluffy llamas and alpacas are the best companions for hikes and at the same time balm for the soul. From the centre of S. Cristina you first reach the starting point of the short hike by bus. Via the newly built path "Troi de Frëines" you walk downhill towards S. Cristina, where there are traditional farmhouses worth seeing to discover along the way, offering the whole family an exciting excursion into the past. Along the trail, visitors can also observe the birds of the themed path “Uciei de Frëines,” which provide an engaging insight into the local wildlife.
