They play an important role in the social life of the village and give many young people the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. On this evening, you will hear the melodies of the music band from Badia. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the events hall J.B. Runcher. When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. During the workshop we build together a new home for useful insects made of natural materials. All children are welcome to participate. The price will be 15,00 €.

An excursion to discover the special rocks of the Dolomites together with you little explorers! You will have the opportunity to learn and have fun while taking a closer look at the extraordinary rock formations around the Gadera stream. Through fun experiments and detailed observations, you will discover the secrets of these unique rocks and understand how they have been formed over thousands of years. After a break with your packed lunch, we visit the Museum Ursus ladinicus together with an educational activity on the formation of the Dolomites with Doris. Summer night concert with the music band "Bürgerkapelle Klausen" accompanied by the Villanders folk dance group. Guests of the member of the turist Association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns, Villanders can expect a holiday lottery with the raffle of some material prizes, as well as a vouchers for a liqueur or distillerie of the farm distillery in Villanders. Patronal festivity at the fairground in Oberbozen. Every year on August 15, the Oberbozen music band organizes this traditional and widely known event. The day begins with a Mass at 8.30 a.m. followed by a procession and blessing of herbs at Maria Himmelfahrt. Brunch starts at 11 a.m. at the festivity ground with music by the band. The traditional parade of the associations of Selva Val Gardena is a colorful celebration that honors Alpine traditions. Every year in Italy, the feast of Ferragosto, is celebrated on the 15th of August. The holiday refers to the Assumption of Mary into heaven and marks the hottest day of summer and is thus also considered the „turning point of summer “. The feast day begins with a High Mass at 09.00 a.m. in the parish church of Ortisei, during which the traditional consecration of medicinal herbs and flowers takes place. The "Piano in Volo" performance is a prestigious show that takes place at a height of 3 meters above the ground, making it accessible to a wide audience from all angles.
