Accompanied by the management of the Vigiljoch Cable Car, who have known the area since childhood and can share fascinating stories about both the cable car and the Vigiljoch. The route leads along the springs, part of an important water protection area where litter has no place. Registered participants can use the cable car free of charge and, at the end of the guided CleanUP, are invited to a shared lunch at the Gasthaus Sessellift. Route Description: From the Vigiljoch cable car mountain station, we immediately turn left. After a few meters below the cable car and the hotel, we reach the fork leading to Pawigl. Here, however, we continue straight ahead along the mostly level “Lower Quellenweg” no. 1. We follow the Quellenweg to the entrance of the spring tunnel. From there, forest road no. 34A takes us to the Gasthof Bärenbad. Passing it, we continue on trail no. 2 to the little church, where we then follow trail no. 4 uphill to the Gasthof Sessellift at the chairlift mountain station. During the traditional Zeppichl Almabtrieb (cattle drive), the decorated animals return to Zeppichl from the Lazinser Hof farm on the sunny side starting around 11:00 a.m. "Frühschoppen" with the bohemian music of Walten and musical entertainment with the music group "Die lustigen Stawanza", as well as interludes by the folkloristic group Schuhplattler from Stuls/Stulles and Mölten/Meltina, and the Psairer Goaslschnöller. There will be a guessing game with great prizes to win.

On Saturday, September 20, a cleanup event will take place as part of the Patron CleanUPDays South Tyrol. Join us as we work together to free nature from litter! The cleanup will take place along the bike path from Plaus to the Visitor Center in Naturns/Naturno. Cleanup equipment (trash bags, gloves) will be provided. Meeting point: 9:05 a.m. – Naturns train station or 9:20 a.m. or Plaus train station, end around 12:00 p.m. at the Nature Park Visitor Center. The city of Laives warmly invites you to the Mobility Festival! On 20 September from 7:30 pm, Via Kennedy will turn into a lively open-air celebration. Local associations will offer fun activities for children and families, while visitors can explore fascinating vehicles from SASA, the White Cross and the Carabinieri. Plenty of food, drinks and good vibes await. On stage, the bands Tabaluga, Skantinati, Atmosfera Zero and Lift Beer will provide live music.

The afternoon begins with the inauguration of the new cycling track in Laives at the Galizia sports area. From 4:30 pm, a festival will take place at Don Domenico Penner Square in Pineta with drinks, music and numerous bicycle-themed activities: a bike workshop for small free repairs, decorations and gadgets to prepare and make bicycles safe for the light parade, a cycling course for children with Polisportiva Pineta, and bike painting by the Fly Youth Centre. In the evening, the bike light parade will ride from Pineta to Laives, leading to the Mobility Festival in Via Kennedy. Golden eagles are solitary birds that mate for life. Every year between March and June, the female lays up to three eggs. She incubates them for around 45 days. During this time, the male provides her with food. The young birds make their first attempts at flight in late summer. Hiking guide Gernot has been observing golden eagles in Hinterpasseier/Alta Val Passiria for years. He knows where they breed and whether the brood was successful. With a little luck, we will see the golden eagle soaring above our heads. A long tradition, specially in Mühlen: the fair day festival! A local club organizes a typical feast with roast chicken, delicious sausages, pretzels, beer and wine and local music. The highlight is the “Kirchtagmichl” (puppet) attached to a tree trunk drawn in a vertical position. It takes several hours! During the night, the Kirchtagmichl must be guarded. Because the boys of the neighboring village are keen to steal it ... The legendary Schupfenfest in San Genesio is a rustic gastronomic festival that enthuses locals and tourists alike. The festival offers the opportunity to combine the pleasure of a beautiful hike in the alpine pastures with the enjoyment of traditional South Tyrolean specialities in mountain huts. The itinerary allows visitors to stop along the way at various 'Schupfe', or huts in South Tyrolean dialect, between San Genesio and Meltina, sampling various typical specialities, from the inevitable farmer's snack to dumplings, Strauben and other sweet pancakes. Of course, there is no shortage of good music or company. So, off to the Schupfenfest in Jenesien, possibly in traditional costumes: lederhosen and dirndl!

On September 21st, Nigerstrasse will be closed to motorized traffic from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM. During this time, families are warmly invited to take part in the Family Challenge. Local clubs and organizations will set up interactive booths along the street, offering fun and engaging activities for all ages. At each booth, participants can collect a stamp. Those who collect all stamps will be entered into a raffle with great prizes! Join us for a fun-filled, car-free day for the whole family! At the same time, families can take advantage of the Family Sundays: All families (2 adults and 2 children) are entitled to unlimited rides on the six summer aerial lifts in Carezza – for just 44 Euros. Thus, you can enjoy the fabulous hiking options at the foot of the stunning "Rose Garden" and also use the Welschnofen, König Laurin 1 & König Laurin 2 aerial trams, as well as the Paolina & Tschein chair lifts, and the Tiers / Tires cableway (funicular) for one price. For the thirth season the Nigerstrasse at the foot of the magnificent Rosengarten mountain will be reserved for hikers and cyclists this year on two Sundays (15th June 25 & 21th September 25) from 08.30 a.m. till 4 p.m. During this period of time, the road will be closed for automobiles and motorcycles. The cableways from Welschnofen / Nova Levante and Tiers / Tires will take all visitors to the Nigerstrasse. At the same time, inns and refreshment stops along the way will be serving a variety of culinary delicacies. The finest outdoor cuisine awaits you at the Tschein restaurant. A horse-drawn carriage runs every half hour between Franzin Alm and Malga Frommer - timetable. E-bikes can be rented directly from the local bike rental shops upon registration and payment. At the same time, families can take advantage of the Family Sundays: All families (2 adults and 2 children) are entitled to unlimited rides on the six summer aerial lifts in Carezza – for just 44 Euros. The Farmers' Youth Festival takes place at the Viglatscherhof in Steinegg/Collepietra. The Klausner band will provide entertainment from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the best milkers. Craft corner with Hube. Food and drink will be provided.

The return of the herds from summer pastures in the Tel high mountain valley is appropriately celebrated at the Nasereit Alpine shelter, in accordance with the old farming tradition.

An exciting afternoon full of play and movement awaits you! On the bike course with roundabout and real traffic light, you can ride your own bikes, scooters, or try out the fun trikes provided by the VKE play bus. There will also be giant board games and skill games for young and old, plus a special highlight: a giant roller slide. The bike guides of the Bike Academy Lana will offer cycling technique courses every hour from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, teaching children and adults how to ride safely – of course on the bike course with traffic light. Snacks and drinks will be provided by VKE, including sausages, cakes, popcorn, and beverages. ATTENTION: In case of rain, the event will be cancelled! The road from the campsite in Tesimo to the vocational school will remain closed to traffic for the entire duration of the event!

From Laion, we take the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a ride on the funicular to the Resciesa mount. The earth pyramids of Perca are an architectural masterpiece of nature. These extraordinary formations were shaped by storms that caused landslides and erosion. The hike starts at the second parking lot in Vila di Sopra. A well-signposted trail initially ascends steeply through the forest, offering a varied and scenic environment. Along the way, oversized rock piles, intriguing figures, and diverse rock types create a unique hiking experience.
