On Sunday, 19 July 2026, it’s time once again to grab your backpack, float up to Rosskopf by gondola and find your very own favourite spot surrounded by nature. A delicious South Tyrolean mountain picnic awaits you, filled with regional delicacies and stunning panoramic views. 🧺⛰️
Look forward to homemade bread, jams and cakes from Sternhütte, products from Milchhof Sterzing, fresh fruit, croissants, cold cuts, boiled eggs and many more sweet and savoury treats. Of course, a picnic blanket is included too – and you can even take it home afterwards.
The mountain picnic is part of the Sterzing Yogurt Summer and offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy authentic regional flavours in the heart of the South Tyrolean mountains.
👉 Price: €27.00 for two people | €39.00 for families
🕣 Picnic backpack pickup: between 08:30 and 12:00 at the Rosskopf valley station
ℹ️ A €20.00 deposit for the backpack must be paid at the ticket office of the valley station.
The cable car ticket is not included.
