ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Rastlhof. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna to Verdins and hike via the Wieser Steig up to the Schenner Waalweg. Via the Bergerweg we finally reach the Rastlhof and after a cosy stop for refreshments we walk back down to St. Georgen. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. Of course, a Törggelemenü and hearty music are not to be missed! Guided BIketour - Meran 360° Our 360º tour through the Etsch Valley starts in Algund. From there we ride towards Gratsch and then to the Segenbühel viewing point from where we then head towards Merano. Taking several side roads we reach the cycle track leading to Bolzano. At Gargazon we leave the cycle track and reach the fabulous Brandis golf course, from where we pedal towards Tscherms. At Tscherms we ride uphill towards Lebenberg Castle, where we can look forward to a wonderful view of the Burggrafenamt region. At the Haidenhof inn we take a well-deserved break. A lovely scenic road takes us to Marling and then we return along Nörderstrasse to our starting point in Algund. We do 42 km and 700m of elevation gain

Have you ever seen a sustainable and completely self-sufficient farm? If not, then this hike to the Niedersteinhof mountain farm is just the thing for you! After a hike, Walter will open the gates of his organic farm and take you on a passionate tour of his farming activities. He describes his philosophy, the self-sufficient concept of the farm and the skilful combination of his mainstays of farm holidays, green energy and South Tyrolean mountain meadow hay. The organic mountain meadow hay in particular, from harvesting to versatile use, has led to creative "haylights" such as cushions, hay beds, wallpaper, lampshades, flooring, liqueur and gin. After the impressive tour of the farm, you can then make your own hay cushion and taste the farm's own products. Our orchardist will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice. Every farmer’s wife has her culinary secrets! At the farmer’s kitchen on the Raiffeisenplatz market square, Scena's farmers’ wives offer authentic traditional and tasty specialities. "Törggelen" is a popular autumn custom for enjoying harvest fruits like chestnuts, apples and grapes. Ham and cheese, young wine and local dishes, all taste so much better when enjoyed in company and good music!

No matter whether on the alpine pasture, in the restaurant or in the hotel. Everyone knows the popular South Tyrolean delicacy "Kaiserschmarren", which can be found on almost every menu. After a short hike, participants can experience the path "from grain to Kaiserschmarren" in the MuseumPasseier. With various hands-on activities in the open-air area, it is shown in an interesting way how a Kaiserschmarren is made from grain. At the end, of course, you can taste the delicious Kaiserschmarren. We start at the Kratzegg car park in Ulfas/Passeiertal and hike along a good path to the Ulfaseralm. From there we ascend to the Schartalm, where we stop for a bite to eat. Afterwards we take the ‘Hahnl’ with us and here we start the descent to the ‘Waalerhütte’ and via the Ulfaser/Matatzer Waalweg we return to the car park. If you are interested in the diversity of herbs, you can take part in Rosi's hike along the Passerdamm trail. Along the way, you will learn all about the local herbs, which are collected together. During the farm tour at Lenkhof, you will learn all sorts of interesting facts about the individual production steps involved in making cheese and other dairy products as well as the history of the farm itself. Young farmer Georg will guide you through the barn, the processing and maturing rooms and tell you about how his animals are kept. At the end, you can of course taste the farm's own products. Giulia Tornarolli invites us to rediscover our body as a means of communication. Drawing on various practices from dance, theatre and contact improvisation, this work allows us to regain awareness of the body and strengthen our attention to it. Dancer, performer and teacher based in Brussels, Giuia Tornarolli began her freelance career after studying at NSCD and SEAD. She works with international artists such as Sebastian Zuber, Edivaldo Ernesto and Panorama Dance Theater. Since 2019 she has been developing her own idiom as an artist through performances designed for different cultural contexts. She also leads workshops on improvisation and body education.
