We are Anna and Daniele. Passionate organic gardeners with a huge flower and vegetable garden, a small shop in our favourite city of Merano, and a deep connection to our land. Everything is grown using a combination of permaculture, traditional field vegetable cultivation, and market gardening. Naturally, everything is certified organic.

On Saturday, 15 November 2025, at 8:30 PM, the Merano Civic Theatre will be transformed into a stage of great emotions: during the gala concert of the international singing competition “ARIA D’ORO”, the best young talents will perform for an enthusiastic audience. After several intense competition days full of passion, expression, and vocal virtuosity, the finalists will take the stage – the artists who impressed the jury with their extraordinary stage presence and musical depth. Accompanied by piano and moderated presentation, the audience will enjoy a varied evening spanning opera and operetta to art song, oratorio, and musical theatre. The concert will also feature the awarding of the prestigious prizes: the main “Aria d’Oro 2025” prize, category awards, and the special promotion prize for young talents from Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino, highlighting the competition’s strong regional ties and supporting promising emerging artists on their career path. The gala concert marks the spectacular finale of a competition that transforms Merano into an international center of vocal art for several days. The transformation of an inconspicuous caterpillar into a motionless chrysalis and finally into a colourful butterfly has always fascinated people. This special exhibition invites visitors to dive deep into the fascinating world of these amazing insects. As part of the special exhibition, visitors can experience the life cycle of a butterfly up close! The exhibition will be on display until 29 November 2025.

With our small autumn concert series, we would like to once again present the natural and emotional intelligence of music that is played and mostly composed by ourselves. Our journey takes us through different musical worlds, which this time are particularly inviting to explore. During a guided tour of our winery in St. Martin, many exciting and interesting things await you. We will tell you passionately about the harvest, winemaking and wine and let you share in our art of winemaking. During a tour of our vineyards, you can taste our wines and finally visit our barrique storage. The winery tour takes place with a minimum of 4 participants. Zeitraum, the fifth exhibition in the Mamming Now series, curated by artists Valeria Ferrari and Johannes Inderst, is dedicated to the evocative power of the objects collected in the Palais Mamming depot. The focus is on collective memory and the emotional ties that everyday, often forgotten objects form with our subconscious. The artists regard the ‘understanding, naming and reordering’ of these artefacts as an act of resistance against forgetting. In this way, the objects take on a new meaning that goes far beyond their original function: they are transformed into veritable ‘fetishes of memory’ and create a space for dreams.

Franz Wanner's first Italian solo exhibition, curated by Kristina Kreutzwald and Martina Oberprantacher, traces his complex artistic research. Using photography, video, words and objects, the artist investigates the past, focusing on the war industry and the use of forced labour in the context of National Socialism, and its effects on society in the present, bringing to light omissions that have been perpetuated over time. For this exhibition, Franz Wanner has also carried out some specific research on the South Tyrolean context and the use of forced labour during the period of the ‘Zone of Operations in the Pre-Alps’, i.e. when the Province of Bolzano was annexed to Nazi Germany.

Kunst Meran Merano Arte hosts AlpiTypes, dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation and connection between lettering, typographic design and lettering painting. The exhibition focuses on applied graphics developed in the first half of the 20th century in the area currently corresponding to South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino. Curated by Antonino Benincasa, Massimo Martignoni and Anna Zinelli, AlpiTypes is based on the in-depth research conducted by Benincasa and Martignoni on local graphics. A group of students from the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, Faculty of Design and Art, accompanied by Antonino Benincasa, reinterpreted historical typefaces from incomplete alphabets, which at the time were often made by hand, integrating the missing characters, revealing how the original typographic concept was inspired by European stylistic currents such as Bauhaus, Rationalism, the Wiener Secession, Constructivism and the Arts and Crafts movement. The project is enhanced by the involvement of international graphic designers, who use the fonts to create contemporary typographic posters. The work highlights a quality and topicality of graphic design in the area that is still almost unknown.

South Tyrol's winegrowers are known as unconventional thinkers who boldly took new and creative paths and thus built up one of the best winegrowing regions in Italy. As part of this year's Gourmet Autumn Naturns a number of winegrowers and cellar masters will be presenting their wineries and wine collections. GLASSIERHOF The term "GLASSIER", derived from the Latin word "CLAUSURA", was chiefly devoted to properties which, like the Glassierhof, were circumscribed from circular walls. The yard, edified in 1663 and since 9 generations in family property, is cultivated according to the organic farming principles (EWG 2092/91). In doing so, we take the line that quality has to be lived and breathed from the early start to finish, i.e. from cultivation to bottling.
