Rousing songs and a great atmosphere are on the cards when “Die Draufgänger” rock the festival grounds in Dorf Tirol on August 1st. The repertoire and unmistakeable style of what is currently Austria’s most successful party band features party tunes, hits and folk music, seasoned with a sizeable helping of humour. The party kicks off at 7 pm with the support act, “The Snoops” from South Tyrol, who will help heat up the atmosphere with their energy-charged performance. Then, at 9 pm, it’ll be time to clear the stage for the main act and put the spotlight on energetic summer vibes, cool drinks, delicious food and partying to the very best hits!

Ascent on the hiking trail E5 to the Hirzerscharte and continue on trail no. 7 to the highest peak in the Sarntal Alps. Views over the Ortler, Ötztal and Stubai Alps. The descent is via the Gompm Alm hut to Tall/Talle to the parking space. Every year in August, a particularly large number of shooting stars flit across the night sky. From 11 to 147th of August, the so-called "Perseids" reach their peak this year. This is also the case on Tuesday, 12th August and the Knottnkino cinema in Vöran is the ideal place to keep an eye out for the "lucky charms". Bring a picnic blanket, listen to pleasant sounds and enjoy some tasty snacks ... Members of the South Tyrolean amateur astronomers "Max Valier" will also be there, with telescopes and interesting stories to tell about the night sky. Photographs and videos may be taken at the event for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event and the area. The recordings may be used and published on websites, in social networks and in the media in compliance with data protection regulations.

On Wednesday, 17 August, starting at 17:00, the traditional church consecration festival will take place at the old parish church in Algund village. The Staben volunteer fire department invites you to a festival on the village square in Staben. Music, food and drink are provided. The festival site is located directly on the cycle path and close to Staben railroad station. This cooking course is all about local wild herbs. Herbs and wild herbs are collected in the garden, which are then processed into a delicious lunch together with herbalist Rosi Mangger Walder. The event will be in German and Italian.
