On Friday, 21st November, the time has come: the ice rink kicks off the new season! From 10 AM you can glide across the ice – whether leisurely or full of energy, fun is guaranteed. In the evening, enjoy the highlight: from 6 to 9 PM, Sax Martl will fill the rink with his unique blend of saxophone and beats. The food & drink stand will be open until 10 PM, serving delicious snacks and drinks. Join us for a magical start to the winter season!

The partner Hotel Preidlhof invites you to the ‘Naturnser Gourmet Autumn’ gala dinner: Enjoy a 6-course menu with selected wines in a cosy atmosphere. Synopsis
After 13 years in prison, Freddy is finally released.
He spends his first night of freedom with his grandson Maximilian, who is celebrating his bachelor party.
Freddy expects a relaxing bath and some peace and quiet – but he soon discovers that he’s never alone with the lively housemates around!

This special exhibition invites visitors to dive deep into the fascinating world of these amazing insects. As part of the special exhibition, visitors can experience the life cycle of a butterfly up close! The exhibition will be on display until 29 November 2025.

The Plonerhof winery in Marling invites you to an exclusive wine tasting and cellar tour every Friday at 3:00 PM, year-round (except during harvest). Experience how passion and expertise create exceptional wines. During the tour, you will learn interesting details about viticulture and wine production. In the cellar, the secrets of winemaking will be revealed. Finally, the wine tasting completes this unique experience. At the Plonerhof winery, a variety of wines are produced on steep vineyard rows with inclines of up to 40%. The house’s cuvées are especially impressive, standing out for their unique diversity and the combination of exceptional grapes. The winery is located in a unique position, where the interplay of climate, soil, and the mountain ranges around Merano creates ideal conditions for viticulture. Every Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., the farmers' market takes place on the town hall square in Nalles/Nals with fresh produce from farmers in Sirmian/Sirmiano and Nals/Nalles.

During a guided cellar tour, visitors can learn how grapes are transformed into wine and explore the stunningly designed cellar spaces, each with its unique color scheme.

Since its opening, the ice rink in the centre of Schenna has enjoyed great popularity. Anyone who wants to take to the ice is in exactly the right place in Schenna. The 12x30 metre artificial ice rink offers locals and guests the chance to do their laps on the shiny surface right in the village centre. Skates and helmets can be rented. A food stall offers warming drinks and snacks. Opening hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM The food stall remains open until 8:00 PM Closed on Tuesdays - except from 24.12. to 06.01.

Zeitraum, the fifth exhibition in the Mamming Now series, curated by artists Valeria Ferrari and Johannes Inderst, is dedicated to the evocative power of the objects collected in the Palais Mamming depot. The focus is on collective memory and the emotional ties that everyday, often forgotten objects form with our subconscious. The artists regard the ‘understanding, naming and reordering’ of these artefacts as an act of resistance against forgetting. In this way, the objects take on a new meaning that goes far beyond their original function: they are transformed into veritable ‘fetishes of memory’ and create a space for dreams.

Franz Wanner's first Italian solo exhibition, curated by Kristina Kreutzwald and Martina Oberprantacher, traces his complex artistic research. Using photography, video, words and objects, the artist investigates the past, focusing on the war industry and the use of forced labour in the context of National Socialism, and its effects on society in the present, bringing to light omissions that have been perpetuated over time. For this exhibition, Franz Wanner has also carried out some specific research on the South Tyrolean context and the use of forced labour during the period of the ‘Zone of Operations in the Pre-Alps’, i.e. when the Province of Bolzano was annexed to Nazi Germany.

Kunst Meran Merano Arte hosts AlpiTypes, dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation and connection between lettering, typographic design and lettering painting. The exhibition focuses on applied graphics developed in the first half of the 20th century in the area currently corresponding to South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino. Curated by Antonino Benincasa, Massimo Martignoni and Anna Zinelli, AlpiTypes is based on the in-depth research conducted by Benincasa and Martignoni on local graphics. A group of students from the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, Faculty of Design and Art, accompanied by Antonino Benincasa, reinterpreted historical typefaces from incomplete alphabets, which at the time were often made by hand, integrating the missing characters, revealing how the original typographic concept was inspired by European stylistic currents such as Bauhaus, Rationalism, the Wiener Secession, Constructivism and the Arts and Crafts movement. The project is enhanced by the involvement of international graphic designers, who use the fonts to create contemporary typographic posters. The work highlights a quality and topicality of graphic design in the area that is still almost unknown.

Trina and Erich. A young woman, a man. Two voices. Two witnesses. Two victims. We are in Curon in the Vinschgau Valley, just a few kilometers from the Austrian border. The beautiful novel Resto qui by Marco Balzano becomes a theatrical play with two characters and many more voices, brought to life by the bodies and mastery of Arianna Scommegna and Mattia Fabris: they are Trina and Erich, witnesses, victims, and, when necessary, even executioners. They are the witnesses of an entire community wiped out in the name of progress and a dam that was almost useless—except to erase the lives of some hundreds of families who had resisted everything, including the First and Second World Wars, changes of nationality, fascism, and forced choices. “Through a dramaturgical weave of narrated parts and dialogues, this yet another ugly chapter of Italian history unfolds. A simple, lean staging: as Melville would have written it, ancient and melancholic. A story of dirty hands and tenacity, anger, violence, and remorse. Sketches. The story of simple women and men who did not accept surrender and now—before the Tribunal of Humanity and for a daughter who is no longer there—relive their long and humiliating defeat,” writes Francesco Niccolini, author and director of the play. The two protagonists, husband and wife, each tell their own version of the story: between Fontamara and Rashomon, there will be partly coinciding, partly different and complementary versions that will compose a pale and painful but dignified picture to present to the audience. Because you can lose the battle, but not be defeated: this is exactly what happens to Trina.
