This topic will be the focus of our staircase exhibition starting April 1st. This unique exhibition offers a visionary investigation of how travelling might develop and grow in the 21st century and beyond. Using AI images and illustrations, the Touriseum offers a glimpse into the future of travelling. This uncertain future comes to life, prompting reflection and even dreaming. Let yourself be inspired as you explore the possibilities and challenges of the coming age of travel. “The Future of Travelling” presents a collection of creative short texts and their artistic interpretations that will challenge the limits of our imagination. From hypermodern means of transport to sustainable travel options and virtual travel experiences, the exhibition explores a variety of themes that might shape travelling in the coming decades.

With our small autumn concert series, we would like to once again present the natural and emotional intelligence of music that is played and mostly composed by ourselves. Zeitraum, the fifth exhibition in the Mamming Now series, curated by artists Valeria Ferrari and Johannes Inderst, is dedicated to the evocative power of the objects collected in the Palais Mamming depot. The focus is on collective memory and the emotional ties that everyday, often forgotten objects form with our subconscious. The artists regard the ‘understanding, naming and reordering’ of these artefacts as an act of resistance against forgetting. In this way, the objects take on a new meaning that goes far beyond their original function: they are transformed into veritable ‘fetishes of memory’ and create a space for dreams.

Franz Wanner's first Italian solo exhibition, curated by Kristina Kreutzwald and Martina Oberprantacher, traces his complex artistic research. Using photography, video, words and objects, the artist investigates the past, focusing on the war industry and the use of forced labour in the context of National Socialism, and its effects on society in the present, bringing to light omissions that have been perpetuated over time. For this exhibition, Franz Wanner has also carried out some specific research on the South Tyrolean context and the use of forced labour during the period of the ‘Zone of Operations in the Pre-Alps’, i.e. when the Province of Bolzano was annexed to Nazi Germany.

Kunst Meran Merano Arte hosts AlpiTypes, dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation and connection between lettering, typographic design and lettering painting. The exhibition focuses on applied graphics developed in the first half of the 20th century in the area currently corresponding to South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino. Curated by Antonino Benincasa, Massimo Martignoni and Anna Zinelli, AlpiTypes is based on the in-depth research conducted by Benincasa and Martignoni on local graphics. A group of students from the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, Faculty of Design and Art, accompanied by Antonino Benincasa, reinterpreted historical typefaces from incomplete alphabets, which at the time were often made by hand, integrating the missing characters, revealing how the original typographic concept was inspired by European stylistic currents such as Bauhaus, Rationalism, the Wiener Secession, Constructivism and the Arts and Crafts movement. The project is enhanced by the involvement of international graphic designers, who use the fonts to create contemporary typographic posters. The work highlights a quality and topicality of graphic design in the area that is still almost unknown.

South Tyrol's winegrowers are known as unconventional thinkers who boldly took new and creative paths and thus built up one of the best winegrowing regions in Italy. As part of this year's Gourmet Autumn Naturns a number of winegrowers and cellar masters will be presenting their wineries and wine collections. (only in german and italian language) The farm, first mentioned in the 13th century as "Widum Baumannhof", once served the local parish with its large communal oven. Today, it stands for sustainable alpine farming and energy independence. From unfiltered apple juice – now award-winning – we moved on to traditional cider production. In 2012, climate change led us to experiment with wine at 1048 m altitude. Eleven grape varieties were tested, micro-vinified, and aged in amphorae and oak. Seven varieties remain, now grown and vinified as a field blend, fermented together in the old tradition. The result: mountain BIO wines full of character, freshness, and vibrant acidity – grown at 1048 meters.

We will guide you through our Gothic wine cellar and take a short tour of the vineyard just behind the cellar. We will give you an insight into the history of the farm and our passion for wine, gardens, art and cuisine, ending with a tasting of 6 wines from our range. The traditional St. Martin’s lantern parade starts at the Partschins kindergarten and leads to the church square in Partschins. It begins at 5:30 p.m. Afterwards, the St. Martin play will be performed, followed by a convivial gathering in the Widum garden with musical entertainment by Trio Partschins.

On 11 November 2025, St. Martin's Day will be held in St. Martin/S. Martino, celebrating the holy patron saint of the village. Programme: At 9 pm, the festive service will take place in the parish church. Afterwards, a brass band of the St. Martin's music band plays a concert on the village square, and the St. Martin's market also takes place. At 5:30 pm the traditional St. Martin's procession starts through the village to the village square. After the reception of St. Martin on the village square, St. Martin's songs will be sung by the kindergarten and primary school children and the St. Martin's play will be performed. Afterwards, the 15th St. Martin's Goose Run will take place, where there are great prizes to be won. Tips for the goose run can be handed in to SKJ members and in the shops of St. Martin. From 5 p.m., the SKJ St. Martin will be serving drinks on the village square.

As the day draws to a close and dusk settles over Schenna, we discover the village in a truly special atmosphere. During this art-historical tour, you will learn where Archduke Johann of Austria and his wife found their final resting place, and many other fascinating questions will be answered. Together we visit Schenna’s Old and New Parish Churches as well as the atmospheric St. Martin’s Chapel.

A bus will take you and your bike to Glorenza or Curon at the Lake Reschen. Cycle along the "Val Venosta bycicle path" back to Naturns and enjoy a unique view over the surrounding mountains. You can rent bikes in our bike stores directly in the center of Naturns or at the bike rental of the Val Venosta train.
