One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C). Under the expert guidance of a certified mountain guide, you conquer the impressive passages on the rugged rock faces of Ifinger peak. Via ferrata beginners and families with children from the age of 14 who enjoy walking and climbing will find here a feasible sporting challenge and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

A photographic project by Andrea Salvà that portrays a contemporary Alpine landscape: natural places that appear pristine, yet are in fact altered by human intervention. The exhibition title clearly echoes the song of little Mignon, the protagonist of Goethe’s Bildungsroman Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre, while at the same time recalling a visual quiz with prizes—“Kennst du deine Heimat? Conosci la tua Provincia?”—which the Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano dedicated to students for two decades starting in the 1970s. Distributed in local schools, the booklet contained 18 photographic quizzes on a variety of subjects such as local culture, geography, and history. To engage with the bilingual term Heimat/Provincia, which carries different semantic nuances, Salvà—an artist from South Tyrol—turns to the Land of Goethe’s Grand Tour to visually depict the landscapes of his birthplace. After 1945, many bunkers remained operational during the "Cold War" until they were decommissioned in the 1990s and transferred to the Province of South Tyrol. Some of these defensive structures hold historical significance, offering unique architectural insights today. The bunker at Töll was acquired by the municipalities of Algund and Marling and has been made accessible for guided visits. What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. Via Bozen-Trient–Verona (short stay at a motorway station), we drive along the motorway to Padua and Venice. Arrival at around 10 a.m. By boat, we make our way to Saint Mark’s square in the centre of Venice. The city is built on 118 islands and offers many palaces and churches, romantic water ways and bridges, which bear witness to the former glory of the town. We stay in Venice for approx. 5 hours and return back via the Val Sugana to Trient and from there to Bozen and Schenna.

At Tholerhof, both young and old, have the opportunity to gain their first riding experiences and get a feel for sitting in the saddle of these fascinating and powerful Haflinger horses and Shetland ponies. After riding, children can help with grooming and taking care of the horses. For more experienced riders, Tholerhof offers great rides in the forest around Aschbach. From high up on the horse, you'll see the surroundings from a more impressive perspective.

Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. If you are looking for an exciting human-animal-nature-experience on the mountain, the Pirchhof-Lamas from Birchberg are just right for you. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. Winegrowing has been a tradition at the Hillepranterhof for generations. Since 2021, winemaker Lukas has been processing the grapes directly on the estate and marketing his wines independently. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Vernatsch and Pinot Noir grow on the slopes of the vineyard. The Pinot Noir is a real highlight and embodies the unique character of the terroir.
