The weekly market on the town hall square in Naturno, from 8:00 to approx. 13:00. From leather goods, shoes and clothing to plants and typical farm products (bacon, cheese), there is something for everyone. The weekly market is a meeting place for all those who like to browse and enjoy.

Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film, you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. Registration required: Until Monday at 4 PM online or at the Tourist Association Marling. The event takes place in German.

At the Algund Farmers' Market from October 23rd to 26th, fresh, regional, and homemade products from all over South Tyrol will be showcased and offered for sale. Join us and be inspired by the variety of agricultural products. Fresh chestnuts will be roasted daily. Two farmers will provide visitors with homemade dishes and serve freshly harvested wines and drinks from their own production. A special program with live music will round off the event.

Join us on a special herbal hike on the Nörderberg mountain of Tschars and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of medicinal plants, trees and shrubs. Under the expert guidance of Melanie, herbalist and phytotherapist, we will discover the treasures of nature and learn exciting facts about traditional folk medicine and modern wild herb cuisine. On our leisurely walk to the Alpine pasture Tablander Alm, we will learn which medicinal plants grow right on our doorstep, how to recognize them and what mythical stories surround them. Melanie gives practical tips on how we can integrate the power of plants into our everyday lives - whether for health or culinary purposes. Be inspired by the diversity and beauty of nature. What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

We cycle along Lake Caldaro, passing picturesque vineyards and enjoying breathtaking views of the lake and the Dolomites. After a walk through the vineyards, the owner welcomes visitors into the wine cellars and offers insight into the exciting and complex process of wine-making. The tour is concluded with a trip to the modern tasting room, giving you a chance to enjoy sipping your way through the selection of wines.

At Tholerhof, both young and old, have the opportunity to gain their first riding experiences and get a feel for sitting in the saddle of these fascinating and powerful Haflinger horses and Shetland ponies. After riding, children can help with grooming and taking care of the horses. For more experienced riders, Tholerhof offers great rides in the forest around Aschbach. From high up on the horse, you'll see the surroundings from a more impressive perspective.

Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. In 1492, the present late Gothic wall pillar church was consecrated. Josef Weingartner counts it among the "most beautiful Gothic churches in the country" in his "Art Monuments of South Tyrol". The Gothic winged altar from the workshop of Hans Schnattpereck is a work of art that is known far beyond the borders of the province. Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts. For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts. The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.

Outdoor back exercises combine fresh air with targeted exercises to strengthen, stretch and mobilise the back. From April to the beginning of November, young winemaker Lukas from the Hillepranterhof invites you to enjoy his exquisite wines every Thursday at 5:30 pm. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of viticulture on a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar. On request, you can also be served a platter of regional specialties. Winegrowing has been a tradition at the Hillepranterhof for generations. Since 2021, winemaker Lukas has been processing the grapes directly on the estate and marketing his wines independently. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Vernatsch and Pinot Noir grow on the slopes of the vineyard. The Pinot Noir is a real highlight and embodies the unique character of the terroir. Chestnut enjoyment in Lana. Chestnut farmer Hans Laimer roasts local chestnuts on an open fire in front of the tourist office in Lana and serves them in hot paper bags, so you can warm your hands. Mon-Sat 2.30-7.00 pm.

Michael Höllrigl’s expressive stone and bronze sculptures will adorn the gardens of the Kränzelhof in 2025, true to his motto “The hand knows more than the head.” “Letting you dream on and on” is the goal of the sculpture exhibition. Whether it’s nearly untouched wilderness or an enchanting cultural landscape, gardens represent the longing for paradise: Tamed nature and untamed inner worlds meet and perhaps grow together. During the guided tour with our apple expert you follow the storage, sorting, packaging and loading. Our apple expert will tell you all kinds of interesting facts about the ingredients, varieties and storage of the apple. The tour is only in German and Italian language! The tour of the cooperative is not barrier-free.

A bus will take you and your bike to Glorenza or Curon at the Lake Reschen. Cycle along the "Val Venosta bycicle path" back to Naturns and enjoy a unique view over the surrounding mountains. You can rent bikes in our bike stores directly in the center of Naturns or at the bike rental of the Val Venosta train. Length of route: Curon to Naturns about 61 km Glorenza to Naturns about 42 km Child seats, baskets and the e-bike batteries must be dismantled for transport. Please do not forget the key for the battery. Dogs are transported only on request and with muzzle.
