At the riding school in Vöran, Elisabeth awaits you with an entertaining programme: At the beginning you will clean the horses together, afterwards you will go on a small accompanied ride. You can also try vaulting, a very popular equestrian sport. At the end you can still paint and take home a nice drawing of your new four-legged friend. Fancy taking part? Barbara and Georg await you at the Lenkhof farm in Avelengo with a great programme. Visit the farm and the animals with them and discover the journey of milk from the cow to the finished butter. ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN This long and challenging hike leads to the Pfossental valley. From the Vorderkaser Alm, we hike to the Eishof and, following the ascending military path, reach the Eisjöchl (2,895 m) and the Stettiner Hut just below (2,875 m). After a rest at the hut, we descend the path to the Lazinser Alm (1,860 m) and continue to Pfelders (1,624 m), where the bus will pick us up. Hike in the crispmorning air across the dewy earth to a breath-taking lookout point, guided by our National Park rangers. Complete the experience with a rich breakfast made up of farm-fresh local products at a mountain refuge. • Duration: 5 hours • You need: Outdoor clothing, headlamp, backpack (with spare clothes, rain jacket, snacks and drinks), hiking boots • Difficulty: easy • difference in hight: 385 m a.s.l. • Tour length: 7 km • Price: 20€ including breakfast at the mountain hut • Free transport by shuttle bus from S. Valburga in Val d’Ultimo to the starting point and back. Departure at 4:15 AM from S. Valburga (Tourist Office). The shuttle will make the same stops as the public transport service. This apple tour will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. You can explore the plantages in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. Registration required: Until Monday at 4 PM online or at the Tourist Association Marling. The event takes place in German.

Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Approach on the Timmelsjoch high alpine road to the parking space near the Oberglanegg Alm hut. Ascent on trail no. 20 to the Königsjoch and via the east ridge, which is partly exposed and has easy climbing passages, to the Grenzgipfel (Border Summit). The descent follows the same route.
