Artists: Razia Barsatie, Minia Biabiany, Marilyn Boror Bor, Carolina Caycedo, Luigi Coppola, Etienne de France, Alexandra Gelis, Amanda Piña, Mezzenett Quiroga, Salissa Rosa, Luana Vitra. The artists in the exhibition explore the relationship between Europe and Abya Yala, also considering the relationship with the South Tyrolean context. The exhibition investigates ecological, economic and geopolitical issues, with a look also at handed-down agricultural knowledge and sustainable land use.

A welcome to you, dear guests, in the form of a tour through the village centre with folk songs, poems for reflection and humorous incidents from the Passeiertal Valley. The event will be in German.

A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better. Limited number of participants.

We start at the Gigglberg inn in Partschins, hike initially across alpine meadows, then through dense forest to the ‘Adlerhorst’ mountain hut and continue along a path through the Schindeltal valley. Now begins the somewhat steeper ascent over rocky terrain and finally over some boulders to the panoramic summit of the Ohrenknott. From here we can enjoy the marvellous panorama of the Dolomites, the Adige Valley and the Ortler massif. Take provisions with you! Fancy some fresh mountain air and stunning views? Then join our hiking guide Heinrich – along a section of the Merano High Mountain Trail! After a short bus ride, our tour begins in Vernuer/Vernurio. From there, we head down the valley along the Merano High Mountain Trail – one of the region's most famous hiking routes. Along the way, we'll enjoy magnificent views of the Etschtal Valley and a diverse natural landscape. In the Kuensertal Valley, the trail continues along the Kuenser Waalweg. This peaceful and pleasant path winds through shady forest sections, accompanied by the gentle trickling of water – perfect for taking a deep breath and relaxing. Our return journey takes us back to Rifiano. Walking time: approx. 3,5 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 180 m ascent and 890 m descent The hike will be in German and Italian.

Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Guided tour through the apple meadows in Tscherms (with reservation). Our farmer will guide you through their fields, explains you about the healthy ingredients, the production area and about all sorts and brands of the South Tyrolean apple. Gain insight into the secrets of the apple farmers - from the latest technology of today and the gnarled giants of the past. Afterwards, you can taste for yourself.

A variety of medicinal plants, wild, flowering and aromatic herbs thrive in the mountain herb garden at the "Wiesenhof" in Pawigl. During a guided tour of the show garden, you will learn how they are used and what effect they have on the human body. In addition to medicinal teas, tinctures and ointments, these valuable natural resources can be used to make tasty wild herb delicacies, which you can enjoy with the group after the tour. Via Rotmoos this alpine path winds past pastures and huts of the Tallner Almen to the Mahdalm and from there we descend to Prenn, where the bus is waiting for us. Shopping on hot summer eventings - June to August is the time of the "long shopping evenings" in the centre of Lana. These evenings are a meeting point for locals and guests to stroll and browse through the shops. Shopping until late in the evening - this is what is on offer in Lana on the balmy summer evenings from 29 June to 17 August 2023: In the pedestrian zone Lana am Gries, visitors can look forward to eight "long shopping evenings" with shops open until 9 pm. In the pedestrian zone, shopping becomes a very special experience: stroll through the pedestrian zone, discover a wide range of offers in the numerous shops, enjoy the evening... For a break in between, the cosy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger.

Approach to Ulfas to the parking space called "Kratzegg". Ascent on trail no. 2 across alpine meadows to the large cairn on the ridge and on to the summit. The descent is via the Ulfaseralm hut back to the parking space. Attention: Good physical condition required! On a guided exploration walk through the vineyards with winemaker Michl, you will learn everything knowing about wine: from its history and cultivation to grape varieties and marketing. At the end of the tour, you can taste South Tyrolean wines and discover the aromas and flavors of the region. The guided tour will be in German.

Sacred Heart Celebrations: traditional torch dance performed by the folk dance group Schenna on the Raiffeisen square

The traditional procession of the heart of Jesus will be accompanied by the Parcines music band. After the Holy Mass and the procession, a short concert will be held. From Cavareno we come to Salter and then through woods and meadows into the gorge of the hermit St Romedius with the monastery of the same name. We climb 130 steps up to the main chapel. We leave the monastery, hike uphill and reach the plateau of Lago di Coredo, where we stop for lunch. From here we descend to San Zeno, where the bus picks us up again. Walking time: approx. 4 hours Altitude difference: 500 m Moderatly difficult hike

Admittedly, it takes some motivation to get out of bed so early, but early risers are rewarded. Join us when the first rays of sun touch the top of the mountains, the light illuminates the majestic mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley and let yourself be enchanted by the unique panorama. The hike will be in German and Italian. After the descent, we fortify ourselves at alp Jaufen Alm with a mountain breakfast featuring local products. Exploring the mountain and its diverse landscape at Merano 2000 in a group while discovering new hidden spots? The guided hikes at Merano 2000 will take place on selected dates starting from July to October 2025 every Tuesday and Wednesday. The hikes take place in groups of up to 12 people and are led by certified hiking guides.
