Discover the art of strudel-making at the historic Schildhof Obergereuth farm! Together with farmer Elisabeth, you'll prepare a classic South Tyrolean apple strudel. In addition, we'll bake a hearty speck strudel with braised cabbage – a perfect blend of sweet and savory! While the strudels turn golden brown in the oven, you'll learn more about the traditional preparation methods and soak in the unique atmosphere of the historic farmstead. One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C). Under the expert guidance of a certified mountain guide, you conquer the impressive passages on the rugged rock faces of Ifinger peak. Via ferrata beginners and families with children from the age of 14 who enjoy walking and climbing will find here a feasible sporting challenge and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

Surrounded by historic walls, fresh air and the calming sounds of birdsong, we will learn how to open our minds, recharge our batteries and together find peace. Gala, Kanzi, Fuji, Red Delicious – these illustrious names represent four of the total of 18 varieties of apple that flourish in the sunny orchards tended by South Tyrol's farmers. Crisp, juicy and fresh, famed as a vitamin bomb and popular well beyond the borders of the region, there is plenty to learn about the South Tyrolean apple. Did you know, for example, that the apple originally came from Kazakhstan? Or that one in three of all organic apples harvested in Europe comes from South Tyrol? Together with apple grower Christine we set out on a journey of discovery through the local apple orchards. Our charming and knowledgeable guide shares plenty of interesting and curious facts about the apple growing industry in South Tyrol, about organic and integrated cultivation, the different varieties, the ingenious methods of naturally-derived plant protection and the protected designation of geographical origin. During the subsequent tasting of the different apple varieties participants can enjoy talking shop about the apples’ flavours and textures and their personal favourites. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions of our expert.

From Naturno you cycle comfortably along the Adige cycle path to Merano. From the Thermenplatz square, head eastwards through the Elisabeth Park into the Passeier Valley. Mostly flat, with a slight incline, you can enjoy the marvellous landscape along the Passeier cycle path (19 km). The refreshing air of the Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path to St. Leonhard. History, Traditions and Wine Culture During this personal tour with wine connoisseur and host Walter, you'll gain fascinating insights into the history and traditions of winemaking in the Burggrafenamt region. As the name suggests, this visit is an experience for all the senses, with many varied highlights to explore at the Rochelehof adventure cellar. The Italian soprano Roberta Invernizzi studied piano and double bass before concentrating on her vocal studies under the direction of Margaret Hayward and continuing to devote herself to the baroque repertoire with Emma Kirkby and Evelyn Tubb. Roberta Invernizzi has performed in numerous concerts and operas throughout Europe and the USA, including in Rome, Milan, Vienna, Prague, London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Prague, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She has performed with the following ensembles: la Cappella de la Pietà dei Turchini, Il Giardino Armonico, Archibudelli, I Sonatori de la Gioisa Marca, Accademia Strumentale Italiana, Retablo Barocco, Il Complesso Barocco. She has sung under the direction of Giovanni Antonini, Anner Bylsma, Christophe Coin, Alan Curtis, Diego Fasolis, Antonio Florio, Ton Koopman, Gustav Leonhardt, Andrew Parrot and Jordi Savall. In January 1998, she was invited by Gustav Leonhardt to sing at the opening concert of the New York Collegium. Roberta Invernizzi has recorded for the labels Opus 111, Virgin, Stradivarius, K617, Don Giovanni, Stradivarius, Symphonia etc. and has been honoured with numerous awards, including the Diapason d'Or, Choc, 10 de répertoire. Gambe di legno Consort was founded in 2001 by Paolo Zuccheri, Francesco Galligioni and Francesco Baroni. The aim of the project was to create an instrumental ensemble dedicated to the vast repertoire for the viola da gamba, ranging from solo pieces for viola to a ‘consort’ with several instruments. The ensemble is regularly invited to perform in concert series focussing on the performance and rediscovery of composers whose works are often unjustly neglected in libraries and archives. The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. This music, which is not limited to any epoch, covers the periods from the Middle Ages to Romanticism. The festival's highest maxim is: original sound, i.e. the performance of the music in an appropriate sound setting on instruments of the period and with the knowledge gained from the historical performance practice handed down in treatises. Thanks to imposing venues such as the church Maria Himmelfahrt in Niederlana with its impressive altar by Hans Schnatterpeck and its special acoustics, top-class concert enjoyment is pre-programmed.

One way is the Jacobson relaxation technique, known as progressive muscle relaxation. The technique is an easy and quickly learned method that helps to relieve tension brought about by stress and overexertion. Untreated, under certain circumstances these tensions can result in back, muscle and head pains, stomach and bowel problems and a range of mental stress symptoms such as sleep and anxiety disorders, depression and even burnout. The Jacobson Method helps us learn to prevent such problems and better deal with damage that has already been done. Relaxation exercises have other benefits too: the body secretes fewer stress hormones, breathing becomes more even, the blood pressure falls and the heart beats more steadily. And the psyche benefits too: physical tensions are reduced and the body regains its natural equilibrium, thus increasing mental wellbeing. Stresses and strains brought about by anxiety, worries and pain diminish.

What is transformative breathing and how can our breath help us to banish stress and access vital energy? The answer to this can be discovered in this outdoor breathing exercise workshop.
