Juval Castle Tour (39 km, 700 m elevation gain) The impressive Juval Castle Tour stretches over 39 kilometers and 700 meters of elevation gain, offering not only physical activity but also cultural and culinary highlights. The starting point is Algund. An experienced bike guide first leads us through a panoramic landscape to Töll. The route then continues along the Apple Road through blossoming orchards to Naturns and further towards Staben. Already during the ride, we enjoy a magnificent view up to the Juval Caslte, the famous castle of Reinhold Messner, which today houses a fascinating collection of Tibetan art and mountaineering history. We follow the bike path until the resting place (just before Staben) and then turn right at the wooden bridge towards the State Road and the Vinschgau Farmers' Store. After crossing the State Road, we need to pedal a bit more. However, with some stamina, we finally reach The Juval Castle, our destination for the day. Here, we will visit the castle and then take a delightful lunch break at a nearby inn. Rejuvenated, we begin the return journey to the starting point, Algund. The varied landscape and cultural attractions make this bike tour an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts who wish to actively explore the beauty of South Tyrol. The Ötzi Glacier Tour is an extremely varied one day round tour, which crosses the main chain oft the Alps. It takes place every Tuesday and upon request. The undisputed highlight of this accompanied glacier trekking tour is the discovery site of Ötzi the Iceman (3,210 m). Starting from Kurzras. From the mountain terminal of the Glacier Cable Car, we will travel over the Hochjochferner (2,800 m/9,186 ft.) to the Schwarze Wand and on to the Hauslabjoch (3,280 m./10,761 ft.) We will then descend to the Tisenjoch (3,210 m/10,532 ft.), the site where Ötzi was discovered. Return to the Similaun Refunge in the early afternoon. A bus will take you and your bike to Glorenza or Curon at the Lake Reschen. Cycle along the "Val Venosta bycicle path" back to Naturns and enjoy a unique view over the surrounding mountains. You can rent bikes in our bike stores directly in the center of Naturns or at the bike rental of the Val Venosta train. Participants first walk about 600 meters into the Elisabethstollen, then climb up a staircase (300 steps and 65 vertical meters) in an ore mining shaft to the Lorenzstollen.Then we walk about 400 meters back through the Lorenzstollen to the exit and through a path to the starting point.
