Local producers from Tisens and the surrounding area sell their homemade goods and regional products with love and craftsmanship at the Tisner Bauern- & Handwerksmarkt (Tisner Farmers' & Crafts Market) on the Town Hall Square in the centre of Tisens. For example, in addition to seasonal fresh vegetables and fruit, you can also find eggs, juices, bread, cheese and wooden objects. Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. Get up early to enjoy the peace of morning while out hiking. What could be better than enjoying the peace and quiet of morning in the mountains? During the guided hike from St. Zyprian to the Tschafon mountain hut with Egon, a breathtaking view of the Rosengarten massif and the surrounding Dolomites awaits you. In the cosy family-run Tschafon mountain refuge you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast with regional products from South Tyrol, before Egon takes you back to the starting point. If you want to enjoy the spring nature a little longer, you can extended the tour to the cross on the Völsegg Peak/Monte Balzo (approx. 25 min) and hike than back to St. Zyprian.
