    Lama Experience Day "Lamas, Mountains & Nature" at Birchberg/Plaus

    If you are looking for an exciting human-animal-nature-experience on the mountain, the Pirchhof-Lamas from Birchberg are just right for you. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. Afterwards we hike back to the farm in a relaxed way. There, a skill course awaits you, which you will master with your animal hiking partner. At the end you will receive your very own "llama or alpaca guide certificate" as a reward. Ideal for families with children from 3 years After the tour you have the possibility to stop at the Brandhof - an idyllically located farm tavern with its own cheese dairy, very close to the Pirchhof llamas. Dogs are not allowed. The event is only in german language!

    Shuttle Val di Fosse - Every Wednesday a shuttle minibus takes you from Naturno to the Vorderkaser parking lot. From there you can hike through the charming Val di Fosse. The Alpine adventure trail is considered one of the most beautiful sections of the Merano High Mountain Trail and offers unique views of the mountain giants of the Texel Group. Limited booster seats are available for children. Dogs are only transported on request and with a muzzle. Bicycle transportation is not possible. The return journey must be booked separately.

    Climatic therapy is the application of natural weather and climatic factors for therapeutic purposes. The Alpe di Barbiano is a perfect starting point for lovely hiking tours to the Corno del Renon, the most beautiful viewpoint of South Tyrol.     We take the Brenner motorway to Rovereto. Through the Loppio Valley and the Passo San Givanni we already reach the north-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Torbole. We drive along the eastern shore to Malcesine. There we enjoy a longer stay to get to know the famous town on the eastern shore. In the early afternoon we take a private boat to Limone. There you have enough time to visit this small picturesque town. visit this small picturesque town. By bus you will then travel along the tunnel-rich Westgardesana towards Riva, the northernmost town on Lake Garda. Via Arco and the Sarca Valley past the beautifully situated Lake Toblino and through the narrow Vela Gorge we reach the Adige Valley again and the Brenner motorway back to Schenna.
