In their program "Dream Figures," Quartonal embarks on a quest for loving mythical creatures, monstrous phantasms, enchanting forms, and various other discoverable wonders of the late Romantic period.
The pieces take the listener on a journey to a time when from Romanticism, primarily, imagination and the importance of emotions remained, yet in the texts, a clear turn towards mysticism and the eerie is observed.

Traditional transhumance with entertainment and folk music.
Back home, this is the ideal reference for livestock, including cows, horses, sheep and goats after a summer spent on the Alpe di Siusi returning to their stables.
The transhumance accompanied by a celebration takes place on the Saturday just before the feast of the harvest. This year the event takes place on 5th October 2024. Accompanied by bells and wreaths the animals inhabit the area of Compaccio at 10am. The colourful herd consisting of 250 animals, some carts and some classic-style tractors will leave the Alpe di Siusi at this very time. The transhumance will be accompanied by a feast: a famers' and artisans' market are part of this special event and local music bands and alphorn players.

Kastelruth/Castelrotto, Dolomites Region Seiser Alm
Traditional Transhumance with Festivities and Folk Music.
In October, it’s time for the cattle, horses, goats, and sheep that spent the summer on the Seiser Alm to return to the valley. On the Seiser Alm, the Transhumance is traditionally celebrated on Rosary Saturday, the Saturday before the Harvest Festival. Starting at 10:30 a.m., cows adorned with flower wreaths and bells fill the streets of Compatsch. The colorful herd of around 250 cattle, sheep, horses, and goats, along with decorated carts, then heads towards the valley and Kastelruth around midday.
Festivities on the Seiser Alm in Compatsch begin at 10:00 a.m. with commentary - the „Goasslschnalzern“, alphorn players, the dance group „Alpler Plattler Gitschen“, the brass band "St. Martin in Thurn", the music group "Schlernblech", a farmers' market, and demonstrations of old farming crafts. Food and drink will be provided.
Festivities in Kastelruth start at 10:00 a.m. with commentary - For many years, it has been a tradition to celebrate the return from the Alm with music, dancing, food, and drink. The Farmers' Buffet and the Hunting Association of Kastelruth will provide refreshments at the entrance to Kastelruth, along the beautiful promenade. The Alphorn players, the Garner „Schuhplattler“, the „Goasslschnalzer“ and the musical group „Schlernwind“ will provide entertainment. The festive procession with the animals and their handlers is expected to arrive in Kastelruth around 1:30 p.m.
We recommend that you watch the entire Transhumance from the Seiser Alm to Kastelruth, as not all animals make it to Kastelruth. Some farmers take their animals to their farms before reaching Kastelruth. You can easily reach the Seiser Alm with the Seiser Alm Cable Car from Seis am Schlern. On this special day, you can use the Seis-Seiser Alm Cable Car at a special price of €14.00 (round trip)! Buses no. 3, 3A and 172 run between the Seiser Alm cable car and Kastelruth. Please note the road closures: after a certain time, no buses will run to Kastelruth, so you may need to travel to Telfen and walk from there to Kastelruth. Tour buses can reach the Seiser Alm before 9:00 a.m. Since the road will be closed for return traffic until 2:00 p.m., tour buses can only drive down after 2:00 p.m. Alternatively, tour buses can park at the Seiser Alm Cable Car station, and guests can reach the Seiser Alm by cable car. In Kastelruth, tour buses can drop off guests at the bus station and then park at the "Tirlerhof" parking lot, 1 km away. Please pay attention to road closures.

Autumn is upon us. Leaves in hues of gold and scarlet-red begin to dot the mountains, and the aroma of grapes, ripened by the summer sun, still wafts through the vineyards. This is the environment in which the Törggelen tradition was born: the farmers would invite friends and neighbors to their wine cellars and cozy Stuben parlors in order to celebrate the crushing of the grapes. Today, in keeping with authentic practice of the tradition, chestnuts from neighboring groves are served together with homemade wine, and visitors can sample local specialties. As part of the Original Törggelen event, rural taverns known as Buschenschänke have been selected that meet the quality criteria of the Red Rooster brand. This year there are 18 taverns: located in the Isarco/Etschtal Valley, around Bozen and Meran, and along the Wine Route. The taverns in the Isarco/Etschtal Valley are connected to one another by the Eisacktal Chestnut Trail ("Keschtnweg").
Inauguration
The bonfire of chestnuts, or Keschtnfeuer, will be lit at 7 p.m., kicking off the Original Törggelen event at all nine Buschenschänke taverns. In addition to serving fine wines, roasting chestnuts and preparing local specialties, the farmers will conduct tours and wine tastings starting at 6 p.m. Advance bookings are required at the participating farms (limited number of participants).
The traditional "Gsiesa Marschtl" market takes place every year on the 1st Saturday in Val Casies Valley, in the village center of S. Martino. From trendy clothing to authentic regional products, visitors to the market will find everything their heart desires. Of course, the chestnut roaster with his roasted chestnuts is also a must at the market. The festival begins with a morning pint with Tyrolean specialties, followed by various performances by music groups to create an festitive atmosphere and entertain guests with traditional and modern sounds. The parade with the traditional homecoming of the cattle from alpine pastures is the highlight of the market and attracts numerous visitors year after year. Programm: 11:30 am: Morning aperitif and concert by the Seibranz Music Band, 02:30 pm: Traditional homecoming of the cattle, 4:00 pm: Musical entertainment with the music band "Blechverrückt", 05:00 pm: Lottery drawing, 05:30 pm: Festival closing with the band "Blechverrückt".
South Tyrolean wineries will be presenting their finest wines above the rooftops of Merano, along the Tappeiner Trail with its sweeping views of the entire Etschtal Valley.
Prices: the Merano Wine Promenade has its own special currency: corks. The special corks and glasses are available from a clearly marked stand on the Merano Wine Promenade.
Culinary delicacies, specially prepared to go with the wines, will be available from the Restaurant Saxifraga on the Meran wine promenade (hot food available all day).
